Ok let's go blow by blow My children love this place. They have televisions literally everywhere. They are one of those miracle places that have speakers on the tables that you can dial to which ever channel you desire to hear. These magical places turn a crazy mommy into a calm and grateful person, able to actually eat dinner in PEACE instead of pieces. The food is good. I wouldn't say it is a foodies dream but it is very consistent in its quality. I like the glazed salmon, and the 10 spice chicken. Both have always been good the girls love their wings both traditional and grilled. The service is good, but the waiters and waitresses work as a team and you can always feel the warmth a hardworking team will give versus an individual type of service format. My mom loves the seared tilapia, so there is something for everyone. Oh and the price is right! read more

I attended Glory Days for Happy Hour with some pals from work on a Thursday evening. First off- their Happy Hour menu is great and I highly recommend going any day of the week. Their drink specials are your basic bar finds with specials on beer and rail drinks, but every day of the week is a different food item special. On Thursdays, I lucked out by going on Pizza Night where a medium size pie was only 6 bucks! It was great to eat alone and have leftovers for lunch or share with a friend! I tried both the buffalo chicken and a plain pie and was impressed with both. As we sat at the bar, the bartender was great and was consistently asking for refills and such. My only beef is we had to ask a few times for napkins before she remembered to grab some for us, when we were about halfway through the pizza. I am eager to go back and try more of their menu and take advantage of the Snack Attack deals in the evenings. read more

Good location to come in and watch a Ravens Game, an amplitude of t.v.'s and Big Screens and a great outside patio for summer evening lounging. Food here is generally pretty good. However I am specifically writing up this review regarding Take-Out Service. Twice over the last few months on two consecutive visits we've had problems with with items missing from our order. If you call and drive back to the location, they will provide you with the missing items. But who wants to do that while the rest of the family eats without you. It's not right! My experience is that some restaurants offer you something for your inconvenience e.g., a few dollars off on your next visit, a larger portion of food, etc. None of that was offered by Glory Days. Simply put, there are better take-out options in the area. If you do order take out from Glory Days... Check your order before you leave. read more

Went Saturday night to meet a friend. Sat at a high top...which was a bit uncomfortable as we are both short. (Not Glory Days fault we are short) Very friendly waitress. Took our orders promptly. We made her wait as we were chatting and looking at the menu. I ordered half a chop salad. Not a huge portion but the full would have been too much. My friend had the turkey club wrap, which was very large and looked great. Waitress brought me refills on my soda without having to ask her for one. It was busy but service was quick. Didn't feel rushed to eat and leave. Much improved from my last visits. Turn over is staff helped the service. read more

So we call our order in, arrive at the suggested time, wait an extra 35 minutes for our food to be ready, drive home to find that an employee made a mistake and didn't put ranch in my sons tender meal or add extra ranch to the order of cheese fries. I call to inform staff of the mistake and let them know I was on my way back. I get there and this poor kid was told that he needed to charge me for the extra ranch. I gave him the .50 and headed back home. I arrive with the ranch and discover that there was only one cheeseburger slider in my two slider big kids meal. First visit to this franchised restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. Decent selection of craft draft beers - about 30 or so including seasonal beers and locals. Ambiance is great with TV screens everywhere but not overbearing in case you just want to converse. Each table has a speaker with a selection box to choose the numbered tv if you want to listen to it. Everything from high school football to CNN. The wings are an absolute MUST order with their special sauce. Dang, I really wish I would've bought a bottle of that stuff to take home. Best wing sauce I've had anywhere in the country. Perfect blend of honey, BBQ, and heat. Wife had a margarita that she loved. Bavarian pretzel appetizer left me wanting even more. Glory Days burger has a perfectly cooked egg on top whose yolk drizzled perfectly down the center when cut. Service was nice and not overly impressive. Host, initial first impression, was like a 16 yr old kid who wasn't in love with his job. Seems like if they upped their service hiring standards this would be the place to go in eldersburg. For now, it's a solid second choice for a bar & grill. Update: We have visited a few more times and love it except one major things. We have had at least 7-8 cocktail orders from various friends and family, and there is perhaps no alcohol in the drinks! Different nights, so definitely something that is part of the norm. Glory days is the best restaurant in Eldersburg hands-down. Their food and service is consistent, safe, and efficient and their management staff is always courteous and helpful. It's a sports bar, so don't expect anything different. The Cartoon Network was on one set so the children with us were happy. I do have to share what happened with our server: we were about to order bloody marys, and i asked how spicy hot the tomato base was. I don't like spicy hot food so i always ask first. He really didn't know but thought it was fine. I explained i wanted to be sure it wasn't too hot, and his response was, "You mean like soup?" The food was good and it gave us a good story. read more

Food is decent. It's what I expect. I would expect better service. It really doesn't matter whether you sit at the bar or at a table, you will be disappointed with your service. This is not based on one visit, but rather many visits. I have actually been pretty impressed with how consistently bad the service is. Don't get me wrong, I will return. I like the place overall. Was at Glory Days 4-16-14 they had forgot our appetizer, and bought out same time as meal. The food was good as always. But over heard waiter say they cut back and don't have bus boys any more. We've been regularly visiting the Glory Days in Eldersburg for the last 6 months or so. Our first visit was a random Monday afternoon in the late summer and our server Billy was fantastic and we were thrilled to get good craft beer and a nice outdoor dining experience so close to home. Since then we've been probably at least two dozen times, and overall we like it a lot. Sadly Billy seems to be the bartender so while we've seen him there many times he hasn't been our server since that first visit. We've had almost as many servers as we've had visits over the last few months, some have been very good, others not as good, but none terrible. We like the beer and the prices here. The food is a little hit or miss. But I mean you can't beat 60 cent boneless or 90 cent bone-in wings on "Wing Wednesday." Combine it with happy hour special drink prices and you will walk away happy for sure. They have a special for all the days of the week. I know right now is Burger Monday, one day is fish I think and one day is pizza. We mostly go for wings or burgers, or just drinks and an appetizer. I think the important thing for places like this is to go in with realistic expectations. Go for drinks and a burger and I think you'll be quite happy. We had an excellent Ruben sandwich one time as well. But I don't think I'd order steak or fish and expect an "excellent" meal, that's just not the sort of place this is. Glory Days is everything that I expected it to be. A very average chain sports bar with average chain food. Their beer list is ok for the run-of-the-mill beer drinker but considering craft beer is a huge trend these days (and it seems many average bars have taken notice of this trend) Glory Days beer list is just average (or a little less IMO). What isn't average is the prices. Sure, they aren't break-your-wallet kind of prices but, for an average sports bar they are ridiculous (not the beer, just the food prices). From the salads to the burger to the grilled salmon, everything was just average but our bill certainly was not. All in all, if I were a sports fan, maybe I'd come here to watch a game but other than that, this is not a place that will go out of my way to make a regular appearance. read more

This is usually my go to lunch spot when I'm out shopping. Today was a major disappointment. I arrived at 1:30, was told 5 minute wait for table. After 10 minutes I asked how much longer, they said they could seat me. 15 minutes later no one had come to take my order. I flagged down someone who looked like a manager and told him while I'd been waiting I observed the hostess sneeze into her hand 4 times and rub her nose as many times. I came here on Friday night around 6:30. The place was packed which was a good sign. I've been here a few times and the food and service have always been wonderful, but this time we met Nichole who is the general manager. It was refreshing to see a manager interacting with customers and talking to everyone. She came over and checked on our food and asked what brought us in that night. The service was quick, but not rushed. And the food and drinks came out quickly and just as we ordered. Terrible management. We were overcharged for drinks and tried to resolve with the management. There was even very clearly a drink that was rang in twice at the same time. Even pointing this out, they would still not resolve the issue. Way to keep customer's money in a pandemic. I had to call my credit card company to resolve the issue instead. I'm visiting the area, this was my first time trying Glory Days and my last. I was craving nachos, the picture of their nachos from the menu looked amazing. Their menu boasts that their nachos have lettuce, tomato, sour cream and queso. I called and requested chicken, and extra shredded cheese melted on top, the gal over the phone said the queso would be placed on the side and I said that was fine. When I got home and opened my box I was so disappointed and hungry. All I got was a box of cold chips, shredded chicken (extra $3), a side of guacamole (another extra $3) and queso. There was no sour cream, lettuce or tomatoes and no melted shredded cheese. I immediately called and another gal got on the phone and said the nachos for to go orders are not as pictured on their menu, that you get everything in side containers for you to assemble later. I said I asked for extra cheese and there is none on the top either and I wasn't told any of this when I ordered. She apologized and said she would drive over the lettuce and tomatoes to my house, I said what about the sour cream, she said the nachos don't come with that. So basically everything on the menu is a lie. I paid about $15 for cold chips and dip, this is not what I wanted at all. No refund or no offer to refund any portion of my meal was even offered. wow!! what more could i say about this establishment. i always feel so loved and supported when i walk in. tonight my friends and i went to glory days for a bumble-boy meet-up. jordan, our server, was also serving the boy. he was so supportive of our blooming relationship. we got the lava cake because the friendship in the place was oozing just like the ooey gooey cake. i will now make this my every-day-once-a-month spot for lava cake. it's even better than chili's!!! read more

Glory Days never disappoints me. A young man greeted us as he held the door open. All of the staff was friendly. Our waiter Evan was great, very attentive and correctly accommodated our food substitutions. Wait time for food was minimal and the orange crushes were served quickly and tasted delicious. The menu has a variety of choices including some for vegetarians. (Others could be modified for vegetarians). The restaurant was clean, fun music and TVs everywhere. There's a large bar (with a lively group of customers) along one wall. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. The seasonal vegetables were great. (Another substitution happily accommodated). Food was good. Lost stars for the service. Waiters gathered right behind our table to join their friends in very loud discussions about the weekend(not work appropriate at all). Our waiter checked on us once as he happened to walk by after his conversation. The girl hostess also joined them back and forth. The place was dead and everyone was gathered right behind us. We frequent this place often. Seems to be less and less busy each time, now I understand why. Doesn't seem like there was a manager tonight since the place was a free for all. Tonight was another prime example of why we look for other restaurants in the area. While the food is fine, the service is unquestionably the worst around. We sat down and waited 10-15 min to place a simple (non bar) drink order. I was on my second drink before anyone asked if we had ordered food yet. We ordered a light meal, including one meal to go, anticipating sharing a dessert. The dinner we ate there was fine and was served in a reasonable time, but we never saw a server for the next 30+ minutes. We've had horrible service here before, but the MOD usually "did the right", but not tonight. Obviously, we skipped dessert and finally walked out. To cap off this experience, the ToGo meal contained a plastic bread tie under the hamburger. I cannot imagine a reason to go here again. read more

This was my first time at a restaurant since COVID began. We had a small party of 4 and our server was delightful and very willing to let us chit chat and catch up as we took our time deciding what we wanted. I want to give a special shout out to a new menu item, Knockout Shrimp. WOW! For those that like Bang, Bang Shrimp, you will love this even more. I recently went here for a work lunch. Our drinks came out pretty fast, but our food took a long time before it came out. The server was friendly and kept grabbing refills for us, which was appreciated. My coworkers seemed to like their meals, no major complaints, but there is definitely something left to be desired here. Just because Glory Days is a chain restaurant does not mean the food has to be less-than. For example, my chicken caesar salad had a nice amount of flavor. The dressing wasn't overwhelming and really added to the taste of the chicken. However, the chicken was a small portion relative to the salad, and the croutons were far from the best. Some small changes to the food and faster service would increase my rating by at least one star, maybe two! read more

The problem with this location, as compared to the one in Ellicott City, is the quality of the employees. I question the interview process based on the front of the house staff's struggle to comprehend basic skills. I expect my order to be correct, especially when I clarify the ONE small change 3 times and get confirmation that it's correct only to learn that it's not (after I get home with the food). Great food at decent prices. They have plenty of screens for sports and the little speakers at each table to listen to whichever screen you choose. They always have one tv playing cartoons for kids. Oh my! What a disappointment. I ordered the bleu cheese burger. Honestly, the burger was tasty. The bleu cheese you could barely find. The onions were willy nilly on the burger, and also all over the bottom of the carry-out box. The bun - it is an embarrassment to serve a bun like that unless it's a kids' party. Take it up a notch, for goodness sake! No catsup to be found or other toppings either even though it is supposed to come with sides. Except I got NO SIDES, not even soggy fries. I also ordered the crab mac & cheese and the crab was tasty but the serving was barely findable it was so small at the bottom of the tiny dish and it sure seemed that the "cheese" was melted cheese whiz or similar. I also ordered the cherry cobbler. These people from the owner all the way up and down the organization chart need to take a course in food. It was NOT a cobbler. It was a Mrs. Smith's Cherry pie. Serious as a heart attack. Complete with TWO CRUSTS folks. Cobbler does not even have ONE CRUST. If anyone in the nation wants to make a fast buck, open A DECENT RESTAURANT IN ELDERSBURG. So far I have thrown out every food order I've ever gotten in Eldersburg - I mean EVERY ONE - except the Eldersburger from Oscar's. Apparently the regulars are extremely accepting in Eldersburg, or they just know it ain't gonna be good food but it's better than leftover cheetos and stale pretzels so they settle for it. And I ordered my meal on a Saturday at high noon when barely anyone was there so they had plenty of time to get this small food order right. Another place I won't ever go again. read more

Newly opened July 4th, this was my first visit. Our server, Amber, was great. The food was not so great. We started with southwest egg rolls which were tasty. I ordered crab cake sliders and caesar salad. I should know better than to ever order crab cakes in a place like this, but alas, I did, and as you'd expect they were awful. Just awful. The salad was nice & fresh, though. My lunch partner had the fish sandwich and didn't care for it or the cole slaw alongside at all. The roll tasted stale. The fries were okay, though.
