Stopped into Chillis with a group of 9. We were sat quickly and the interior and bathroom was clean. I haven't been to a Chillis in a quite some time but I'm happy to see they still have a $5 drink of the month! This month was the 'Resolution Breaker', I thought the name was hilarious and the drink was both huge and tasty. They got rid of the 2 for $25 which is sad AND I learned Chillis no longer does bottomless chips and salsa for free :( the food was pretty good. The portions were great and I liked that I automatically got Mac n cheese with my chicken sandwich. Our server was amazing and helped us with the many questions we had when trying to use a gift card with the mobile payment system. Chili's is one of my favorite chain go to spots. Mostly because they feature a $6 margarita that rotates every month. And the food options give a feeling of comfort food. My favorite marg was the Kelly Kapowski (saved by the bell) inspired marg that was color changing and came with a cute swizzle stick keepsake. The food is usually business as usual but I like the menu offerings. Burgers, chicken fingers, fajitas, and the delicious ribs are my favorites. Service is great. I'm usually in and out. Never a wait to be seated. And does not take long to be served. This location is very locally decorated and has lots of Maryland swag hanging. read more

I don't know why Chilis isn't rated higher. I had a great experience and the food is better than a lot of the other casual dining establishments in the area. They have a margarita of the month. For May it was the radical Rita, save by the bell themed. The waiter Tyler was excellent. He brought out some waters right away and took our drink orders. I got an order of nachos too much on. Nachos were hot and fresh. I wasn't a fan of the salsa. They use a watery this salsa and I prefer chunky. I wasn't drinking so I just had a lemonade. The Radical Rita looked very appealing so I will have to come try it. For my meal I ordered the combo of a half rack of ribs, a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla, chipotle chicken bites, and fries. They give you generous portions of all. It was so much that I had plenty to take home in a to go box. I will definitely come back again. read more

Chili's is an old faithful. The menu has been revamped, but solids remain - triple dipper, baby back ribs, and their molten lava cake. The dragon fruit lemonade is super sweet so sip your water. I'm not a huge fan of the sticky honey chipotle mozz sticks. I prefer the crispy version. All and all, customer service was good, food was presented quickly, and any minor errors were corrected. I always have an...interesting experience here. The food and service are both good for the most part. Tonight, I went with two friends and we were seated after a very brief wait - at most, two minutes. It was rather crowded on a Saturday, with two or three birthday celebrations too. Drinks came quickly, but the food is really where the night got interesting. Our waitress appeared visibly intoxicated, for one. I go to this chilis twice a year at the absolute most, and last time I was here with the exact same people, we had the same server. Last time, she appeared so drunk it was alarmingly obvious! Tonight, though, it impacted our dining experience. I ordered the avocado steak, and it was good and came out as expected. A bit undercooked but not too bad. The burger my friend ordered was good, and she received a side of honey mustard quickly after asking for it. However, the triple dipper my other friend ordered came with everything she asked for, except they gave her a completely wrong part of her order - sliders instead of egg rolls. They gave her the egg rolls eventually, so no big deal. Once we were ready for the bill, we spent a LOT of time waiting. Our waitress promised us the bill, but checked in on us repeatedly about food and drinks before inquiring about the bill. Instead of putting the tablet on the table for us to divide our bill accordingly, she rung us up herself. This isn't a big deal though. I haven't been to chilis in a while, but this was out of the ordinary for experiences I've had in the past. Solid food and (usually) good service keeps my friends and I coming back. read more

I have visited this location several times and it is always enjoyable. Service is both friendly and fast. There is always a promotional adult beverage and free refills available on serval soft drinks. The bar has plenty of tvs, so this makes for a nice place to watch a sporting event without too much noise (just the way I like it). Fantastic last minute late night food spot w options galore to eat and drink. They have a weekday early and late night happy hour as well as several ongoing meal specials. Sadly and true yelper style I neglected to remember the name of our table person, but she was fantastic! She took out orders almost instantly put them in and brought them out in less than 7 minutes. The atmosphere was really cool w little to no people in there, very clean, vibrant, and welcoming. We ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta & Smoked Wings. My husband really enjoyed the pasta, I thought it was a little Bland... It was definitely a nice size for two or three people to share! They didn't skip out on the meat either! & Those wings were very very tasty and knocked my socks off! I do not give one-star reviews lightly. I realize their potential impact. This one is richly deserved. Service was attentive and downright cheery. On an early spring Tuesday evening for dinner, if anything this Chili's was overstaffed and they train their upbeat crew of college kids to be quite welcoming and attentive. Now we have dispensed with what was good. Chili's used to be packed; lines out the door were common. No more and that should have been a cautionary tale on our arrival but it was not. Alas, a meal that cannot be uneaten is like a bell that cannot be unrung. The problem, plain and simply, is laid bare on the menu. Every item was extremely caloric, super-fatty and loaded with salt beyond all comprehension. Even the salads. Even the veggies. Everything. Ballparks and movie theaters can perhaps do this; both offer fare less hit-you-over-the-head sodium laden. Kudos at least for the menu disclosures; the fine print revealed the ubiquitous caloric wallop that everything packed. We should have walked out. Alas. Maybe chain restaurants got away with this in the 1970s and 1980s. It's 2019 and Chili's and the industry in general knows better and can do better. Much better. Maybe they will improve. We won't know, for we are never coming back. Ever. read more

Great service and food! I know that this is a chain restaurant but I've been to non-chain restaurant where the service and food has been terrible but this place was great!! Our waitress was so great, friendly, and accommodating! She refilled our drinks as needed and checked on us frequently. I ordered the crispy chicken crispers with fries and loaded mashed potatoes. It typically comes with corn on the cob but I didn't want that. I told our waitress that they could leave that out and she offered me another side option instead. Hi Yelp friends! I went here today with my family for a belated Father's day. I had not been to a "Chili's" in a long time, so many things were new. They have streamlined a lot of the processes with a sort of "table touch screen concierge" which was interesting. They have also changed and shortened their menu, which I find to be a plus. Sometimes I feel chain restaurants try to do too much. I would like to give a big thank you to our waitress, Rae. She was very attentive, sweet, and made the entire meal from start to finish great. I order the "Smokehouse Combo" which allows you to mix and match a few items. I selected the slow cooked brisket and the half rack of ribs (upcharge on this - my meal pictured along with our margaritas). My sister asked me if I wanted to take pictures of her food too, and I said no, how can I review something I am not going to be eating hehe! The reason for the one star loss is due to the disappointment of the brisket being incredibly tough and chewy. Other than that, the meal was fantastic. read more

I have been going to Chili's for years. Usually a decent experience. I've complained a few times for needing to wait on picked up take out food. Became used to adding an additional 15-20 minutes for take out. This week three of us went into the restaurant and ordered a salad with chicken/ 1/2 rack ribs and a quesadilla meal. 45 minutes later we saw the waitress once (not super busy) to tell us they have had tons of orders for quesadilla meals and are backed up. Didn't quite understand as you basically build this meal yourself at the table. Lo and behold 50 minutes later the food arrived. I had not eaten all day and had been traveling. My ribs were trash. Guess they were ready 45 minutes earlier. No rub on them as requested. I could barely chew them and were only given 3 small ribs. The fries were so cold I think they came out of the freezer. The salad was unable to be ruined other than overcooked chicken. I didn't complain because I wanted to get out of the place . My hard earned $65 was basically thrown away. Not even a drink refill. This place is hit or miss. Some days will be good and suck you back in. read more

BBQ platter can run neck to neck with some of the other BBQ joints in the area! Southwest Burger was big and juicy! As you can tell from my sons refusal to put the burger down! My expectations for national chain restaurants are not too high but this Chili's excelled in food and service. I ordered the Guacamole burger and my wife had a the bacon burger. Both were cooked to order, served hot and juicy. The best burgers we've had in a while. It always bothers me that restaurant food usually does not match what is shown in their menu pictures but our served burgers closely resembled what is displayed in their menu. My side was the asparagus with tomatoes and garlic which made a great accompaniment. Also cooked well and served hot. Service was friendly, our iced tea glasses never went dry. This place is usually great, but sadly last time I went (about two months ago) I received my appetizer-combo meal on a strange, metal tray. Presentation wise, it was awful. Just tossed my food onto the metal tray. Then actually eating it, the chicken tenders "crispers" were not crispy at all and half were missing breading, were oddly chewy/filled with gristle, and coated in sauce. Haven't been back since. Lately I haven't seen many people ordering their fajitas steaming bubbling hot in over 4+ years, and I was just wondering if they still have them so I can hear the symphony of sizzling food go right by my table and I dream about my happy place. They always check on you every second time they walk by almost always asking me if I would like anything else or for a refill or asking if I want to see desert menu. Their table top games are so very much fun all the time but I realize that playing trivia has a fee, so sometime in the future I might ask what amount is the fee and ask if it's per meal or per day... their staff is very personable and I kinda feel like I might fit right in if they're hiring. Only asking about their trivia fee so I can reload one of my car specifically to enjoy trivia. This location has undergone a nice remodel. The food and service is consistently good. You get a waitstaff team of two to make sure your food and drinks arrive timely. In addition, they have touch screen kiosk at each table to request more drinks, order desserts, and pay your check. My husband usually orders the cheeseburger and the kid likes the chicken strips. Food's consistently OK, but what do you expect from a big chain. I used to go there because they were the only place around with chicken fried steak (using that name reveals my background, huh?). But then they ruin it with their junky, er, I mean "chunky" mashed potatoes. I guess they do that on purpose, 'cause they're always like that. Hmm... Maybe if I got the gravy separate, then I could mash the potatoes properly myself and then add the gravy? BUT, they just crossed the line; since I won't be going back, I don't need a strategy to fix the potatoes. They've introduced little blinking, flashing, computers at each table! They offer to let you play games, while you wait for your meal --- for a fee! Yippee!!! AND, if your waiter is ignoring you --- and they will --- you can use the computer to order more drinks!! Double Yippee!!!! AND, at the end you can use the little computer to pay with your credit card, all by yourself!! But the real clincher is that while you're paying, it offers to add 20% gratuity! When I asked about that, they said, with a straight face, that 20% was standard and there's a little button where you can change the amount. Well, 20% is the amount I might give if I actually got very good service --- from a person --- but hardly standard. read more

My hubby and I go to the Chili's in Eldersburg, MD and frankly, I don't understand the horrible reviews I've read here. The staff has always been top notch and very attentive. And I have never had a bad meal there. I love their fajitas and the new flatbread pizzas on the menu rock! Perhaps at other times, the staff is stressed, but we tend to go within the 4 to 5 p.m. range for dinner to beat the rush, so all I know is that when we go, everyone treats us great. I had never done drive up carry out withChili's and will not do it again. I ordered a shrimp fajitas and margarita. I will say the margarita was good but ordered 5 got 4 bottles. Might have been better to order individual not sure. They were tasty though. The food was a disappointment. I had no rice and the pics salsa I only got 1/2 tsp, only one tbsp of cheese. The shrimp onions and peppers were ok but really missed my rice. Oh and I am a reward member but they charged me 4.95 for chips read more
