My husband and I have been to this Glory Days location several times and we always receive excellent service and the food is always awesome. Max and Alvero are professional, helpful and provide top of the line customer service. We have been to two of the Beer Dinners and have been extremely impressed with the menu. I love that Max, the manager, creates these unique experiences for his customers and that he finds a way to work with local breweries. Bad food and worse service. I was there on "Wings night", I figured that they would do wings well. The wings were *way* overcooked (and I usually prefer mine on the crunchy side), and, I suspect, re-heated. The hot sauce was almost OK, and the Old Bay "sauce" (really just dry spices) was way too salty. Sauces might have been better if they were served on decent wings. Service was terrible. 20 minutes to get food. 25 minutes to get the check, charge it, and get my credit card back. And then only after I hijacked a different waitress who walked away muttering I must have mistook her for the other waitress. Watching 2-3 other servers hanging around the door talking while I waited probably didn't help my mood. On the plus side, the outdoor seating was nice. But watching the waitresses pet a dog and then not wash their hands before serving food wasn't particularly appetizing. I own a dog, and I can be a bit careless myself, but not when dealing with other people's food. read more

Glory Days is good for entertainment, solid for food, and alright for service. I normally come in with my friends, but sometimes I order carry out for my family. The waiters are nice, but are sometimes slow with refills, condiments, etc., but when I order carry out, it is usually correct, and the guy that works there... Talk about tall dark, and handsome. Ahh where to begin ... glory days has always been a favorite among my family. We love it here! Every time I come I am reminded of the episode of Spongebob SquarePants in which the Krusty Krab is transformed into a sports bar and grill resembling our beloved Glory Days. The episode portrays sports bars in a rather negative light; however, I feel that Glory Days Bar and Grill rises above the cliches. It is a wonderful environment for the family (my 32 year old son who still lives in my basement and won't get a job that fuckin deadbeat ass hoe Daniel loves it!). I especially love the fish tacos at Glory Days. There was a great fish to taco ratio. My son Daniel, the fuckin deadbeat, was promptly given a gluten free menu. Good for him! I wish he would move out and get a girlfriend! I'm tired of cleaning up his dirty tissues! Why does a man need that many tissues? Four out of five stars because I hate my son. read more

Thanks to Meagan and Saturday Manager Mr. Sossi our high school baseball team had a fantastic Saturday evening at this Grill. We are a team of 25 and were travelling in VA from PA and were seeking a spot for the boys to have dinner and unwind after playing a doubleheader. When we called to see if the Grill could accommodate our group (just two days prior to our arrival), Meagan put together a menu of options for us within our price range. Mr. Sossi offered the group a congenial welcome and had the tables prepared for our arrival and the wait staff ready to take our orders. The food was terrific and satisfied the appetites of some very hungry baseball players. The atmosphere was perfect for the team to relax. Thank you for the hospitality you offered us. I was pleasantly surprised with Glory Days. We won a gift check to the restaurant and I went there expecting a sports bar with mediocre food. While I was right on the sports bar front, the food was pretty good. The ribs and fried shrimp platter have become my favorite. It is very kid friendly and the background noise is loud enough that I haven't had to worry about my child bothering others. We have been there about four times and had a great meal on each visit. read more

This review is long overdue. I was looking to throw my hubby a b-day party but wanted it to be a kid-friendly affair. I contacted many grills/sports bar type of places but most said they turn into '18 and above only' setting post 9-10 pm on Friday nights. I had to put the event together in about 10 days (due to personal commitments), so I called frantically at various Glory days. When I called the Glory Days on John Milton Dr., I spoke to the manager Max and explained my scenario. He was very helpful and accommodating. He sectioned off an area within the restaurant for our party. He also helped us customize the menu to fit our budget. On the day of the party, we had over 40 adults and 18 kids. Max ensured we had enough servers reserved just for us. All the guests in our party raved about the food and the top-notch service. Everyone enjoyed and had a great time - thanks to Max, the assistant manager, Glory Days food, and the awesome servers. Our friends mentioned to us later that they never thought they could have so much fun at a Glory Days Grill. It was a unique experience and it was made possible by the staff at this location. OK, that may be a little over the top, but it is hard to find a sports bar that satisfies all ages. In our case the range was from 5 to 73 and the selector was the 5 year old. He loves the place. Admittedly it is because they will always turn one of the large screen TVs to a cartoon, but he totally consumed his mac & cheese bypassing his second most favorite food of ketchup and fries to do so. I had the Cuban sandwich and Caesar Salad while his mother had their fish sandwich and a side salad as well. We ended up splitting a warm cherry cobbler with ice cream for us and he had "Dirt & Worms". It's noisy, but fun. read more

Against my better judgement I went back. Was out and about when I thought I would stop in, catch a beer or 2 with some wings and watch some of the Redskins game. I had the bad luck of getting the worst waiter I have experience in quite awhile. He wore a DeSean Jackson jersey. I walk in and sit at the small tables near the bar. I sat for 15 minutes before DeSean shows up, they were really busy so that did not bother me. I order a beer. I do not get a menu. DeSean cruises around helping other customers for 15 minutes. Other customers come in and he gives them menus...hmmmmm.Still no menu. Then he disappears. After spotting him finally I check out what he's doing. He is standing there watching one of the games. Still no menu. Then he disappears down some corridor at the back of the place. Comes back out and stands near the bar chatting with another waiter. Finally after 20 minutes I'm about to exit when he shows up with the beer. Still no menu. No, I did not ask for a menu, but neither was I offered one. This the first time I have ever gone into a restaurant and not been offered a menu. I drink my beer and when I finish I flag DeSean down and ask how much the beer cost. Paid and left. Now I acknowledge that it was game day and the place was busy. But frankly this does not explain why I received such bad service from DeSean. Not ever going back again. read more

Chris here as the manager is the best of the whole Glory Days chain....if he is managing, everything is right on track. Their new macaroni balls (appetizer) are incredible!! Think the best of creamy mac 'n cheese and give it an outside crunchy coating. Their service is excellent at this location, and their burgers plus a side for only $5.55 is still a great deal for a family (every Monday evening). Their wings with Glory Sauce are the best in the area, and Wednesdays are half-price wing night. Right now they have some pretty interesting Octoberfest beers, plus an Octoberfest sampler with German sausages, creamy mashed potatoes, sauerkraut and sweet 'n sour red cabbage. This is the perfect place to eat dinner and watch a game in progress. And after 9 p.m. weekdays all appetizers are $5. For dessert, their oreo sliders are fantastic. read more

I love glory days and have been going there since I was a kid. Tonight I went and we had a few hiccups with our food but the manager (and server) were both SO good. Particularly the manager who made sure everything was brought out correctly and even bought us the appetizer. If you want to watch a game and have a slightly better than pub style meal, try your local Glory Days. I am glad we have ours. The staff is young but they try hard. It is sometimes difficult to get into due to crowding. That should tell you something. The draft beer selection is good. I appreciate that. There are so many TVs, you can't miss your game. The food is not superb - just good enough. It's very loud. But it is pretty much what you would expect and a bit more. read more

Okay. I am usually a little picky because I like food so much and don't want to waste a meal. I know Glory Days is just a sports bar, but I have been coming here for a long time and it's always really good. For the price and the selection, there is always something new and fresh to try. It may be a small thing, but the house salads are never icky and salad is never limp or dingy. The burgers, glory wings and chicken philly club sandwich are my favorite and they always taste exactly how I want them too! Happy hour is great too. It can be very busy when a game is on, but the service is always very attentive and friendly. The food comes out quick, and there are always a lot of familiar faces coming back to this place. My only complaint is that the size of the side of fries has dwindled noticeably recently. I am not one to gorge myself of fries (even though I do love them), but it seems like there are only about 8-10 on the plate. A little odd. read more
