The reviews that I read on-line made me want to try Bom nails. And I am so glad I did! I am very particular about my nails and just started getting gel manicures. Louis was my manicurist and he did a spectacular job! He is a perfectionist with a sense of humor! The salon is very clean and you never feel rushed. Great salon! Clean and wonderful service. I went for my first time this past Thursday afternoon for a Mani/pedi. My AMAZING pedi lasted about an hour. She gave me a foot and leg massage using hot rocks, exfoliated my feet and legs, and used hot wax on my heels. Afterwards, I got a manicure and I told my manicurist that I was having issues with my cuticles growing in and she took great care of it! In addition, during the manicure they gave me an extremely relaxing back massage using a hot towel. Just what I needed! It is unfortunate for those of you who have had issues at this salon, because I will definitely be going back! Overall, highly recommended! read more

Rush job. I made an appointment for a mani pedi & still had to wait 20 minutes and they seated walk-ins before me! When it finally started, pedi was ok. Mani was horrible - no cuticle removal or push back. Nail painting was amateur at best. Lady was so bad she had to do three coats to try and cover her mistakes. Base coat did not even cover my full nail. Rude staff actually expected a tip after all of that. My first and FINAL visit. read more

Do not try this place! I called at 6pm if I could come in at 6:45 for a mani-pedi. The owner said yes, we close at 7:30 but that should be fine. I got there and the pedicure was off to a great start. They really take their time and massage your feet and remove any callus! I thought I had found my mani-pedi place! Then the woman comes over to do the manicure at the same time. She asked if I wanted to file or cut... I stated just file a bit as I was happy with my shape and length. She then asks round or square to which I replied square. She took forever with my right hand but I couldn't really see what she was doing and at this point I was really enjoying my foot massage. When she finished and asked for my left hand, I got to see what she had done and I was horrified! My nails were all different shapes, none were square and they were different lengths- mostly extremely short. I was shocked! I asked her to stop right away and get the owner. I literally could not believe my eyes as to what this woman had done to my nails. The owner come by and I show her and tell her that my nails are ruined. I ask her if this manicurist has ever done nails before and she replies to me yes but you shouldn't come so late next time! Really? It's my fault? I called! If you didn't think it was enough time, then tell me! She then calls someone over and says fix it. The second manicurist stares at my nails and asks the owner if she should cut my nails on my left hand? She doesn't even know what to do! She finally files my nails again on my right hand to give them shape and even them out and they are pretty much down to the bone! I ask her to cut my nails on the left hand so they atleast match. I was so upset and the owner comes back to me and asks me for my credit card and tells me again I should come right before closing! I'm just flabbergasted! She runs away with my credit card as I'm telling her I hope she's not going to charge me for ruining my nails. She comes back and tells me she gave me a discount. Yeah she gave me a $4 discount by charging me $38 instead of $42! The owner clearly doesn't care about her customers cause i sure will not be returning here ever again! read more

I come here every 3 weeks and spoil myself to a relaxing pedicure. A regular pedicure is $30 but I spoil myself with a spa pedicure. The green tea is $60 and includes a callus remover and a 15 min massage. Lots of colors to choose from and very clean... love that that pedicure bowls are lined in plastic just for you. read more

Let me just start by saying that I don't think I have ever reviewed somewhere before. I felt the need to review this time because I am so angry about my nails before. I just left this nail salon and literally have driven straight across the street to panera for lunch and my nails are ALREADY messed up. I might also add that I got a gel manicure, not a regular manicure so this shouldn't happen at all. These people are highly incompetent and didn't even know how to properly do a French manicure. I will NEVER go here again. Ever. The only reason I went here in the first place was the highly rated reviews. I've never felt like I've wasted so much time and money before. Which it was $45 for a French gel manicure. (Ten dollars more than the place I used to go). Ridiculous. I'm appalled. Don't waste your time. I only gave it one star because yelp made me. A-MAZ-ING pedicure! Complete with a hot stone massage and skin softening products. They carry trendy nail polish colors that mostly consist of brands like OPI and Essie. Staff is nice. They also do good manicures. Plus offer Spa pedicures. read more

They are really rude! Pedis are amazing my nail were great and lasted for every. Can't get passed the attitude and tried to use the "language barrier" has the excuse when I confronted the owner about her actions and both of her techs. You don't need to speak to grab and pull your client aggressively. Oh and you don't need to speak to cover your clients clothes to protect it from the nail dustings, especially if you ask repeatedly and they are all covered up. Can't speed my money there again no matter how good my nails and toes looked . Too rude! read more

I tried this salon for the first time this past Saturday. I was totally exfoliated. My right foot (heel) is so sore, swollen and discolored. Today is monday and it's still bleeding. I'm at work and I'm having a problem getting shoes on. I'm going back to Luxury nails. The girls in BOM are too inexperienced or something. Ah-may-zing! Give yourself plenty of time for the regular pedi--it takes quite a while, but is well worth it. Manicure is lovely, thorough, and looks great for days. I am new to NJ. I went on a Saturday morning and they were really busy. I was able to get a mani-pedi with out an appointment and no wait time! The foot massage was amazing! The only complaints I have is the hand massage lasted maybe a minute :( also my cuticles were not trimmed at all. The gel polish was done very well and foot massage was amazing!! Next time I visit, I will ask that they trim my cuticles. I'm going on 3 weeks and the mani-pedi still looks good! From start to finish I was there for 2.5 hours. A nice full one hour pedicure. Never feel rushed. Pleasant staff and clean facilities. I will definitely be going back for pedicures.

Shaped my nails just the way I wanted. I have been looking to shape my nails in a "almond" shape. My previous nail salon did a poor job, leaving my nails extremely sloppy looking and uneven. i think that this place started out GREAT but has since significantly declined in service and product. the owners are NEVER there anymore and it shows! one of the "manicure" ladies is always in charge and constantly barks orders to the "pedicure" ladies. i find it very uncomfortable and disrespectful. will be taking my business elsewhere. read more
