This place is heaven for someone with Celiac disease. When you are craving that deli sandwich and you can't remember how long its been since you had quality gluten free bread, this is the place for you. My wife has had celiac for 6 years now and we have been all over the country; this by far is her favorite bread. They also make pizza crust, dinner rolls, sandwich rolls, and everything in the place is gluten free. We had a late breakfast/early lunch and decided to eat there at the small counter with a couple of stools. Seating is limited inside, so be prepared to take your food to go if it is busy. My wife went with a bacon egg and cheese sandwich that was excellent. The bacon was thick and very tasty, the egg was large and fresh, and the cheese was just the right amount. I went with the stuffed pork sandwich per the owners recommendation; the pork had been slow baked for 5 hours and was moist and bursting with flavor. The owner was very hands on and really friendly. You can tell he really has passion for pleasing patrons and making sure everyone leaves happy. The other day I stopped in here after getting a rave review from my brother. I gotta say big bro knows best! Not only was the sandwich awesome but they had a glass bottle Mexican coke! The menu is a little limited and so is the space but I wouldn't let that stop you from picking up a very unique and delicious sandwich. For my lunch I picked the stuffed chicken sandwich which tasted totally fresh. The titular "cheese bread" which I understand to be gluten free (not an issue for me) was a new experience but definitely some of the tastiest bread I've come across. The roll had a texture that reminded me of a nice Ciabata. The meat tasted like it was filled with an assortment of ingredients, rolled up, roasted and then sliced for the sandwich. Drive by almost every day. Place never appeared busy and i didn't really know what it was. Finally stopped in. What took me so long! Eveyone super friendly. Great selection of sandwiches. We went for ham, egg, and cheese. Fantastic. Only five seats aat a counter facing the window, but no problem getting two seats. Enjoyed our sandwiches. All the while a constant stream of customers - mostly repeat cstomers. Also got some frozen roles to go. We'll be back and soon! read more

Bread here is awesome.. Light, flavorful, delicious and gluten free. I thought that type of bread (gluten free)would taste funny, but it was really good. Had a egg sandwich there today, I couldn't get enough. Their rolls would be great for a burger too. They hold up and are slightly chewy. The place is more of a grill shop, we thought it was a bakery from its name.. LoL. But we'll be back for lunch another day, for sure read more

Been thinking of trying this place for some time. Decided to stop in today. Told owner it was my first time coming in she graciously gave me a small roll as a sample of her gluten free bread to try. She hooked me right there. Warm, flaky soft and terrific flavor. You definitely wouldn't know it's gluten free. Purchased some frozen items to take home and ordered an egg sandwich to go...wow! Terrific roll again fluffy flaky with right amount of crisp was moist not dried out. Fantastic. Stop in and try even if you don't have a gluten allergy the food is terrific seriously you will never know your eating gluten free. Great spot!! read more

It has been a while since i have been here so there is a chance they might have improved their recipe or what not. But there is a good reason I have not gone back since it opened back about 2-3 years ago i think. Decided to one day pick up the little balls they call cheese bread and i have to admit i was fairly excited about it, but once i bit into the first piece of cheese bread, the only thing i can think of is chalk and cardboard. The consistency is very chalky, maybe from the type of flour they use? but as i was chewing this all i wanted to do at that point is spit it out. I understand that everyone has different taste and some people might even enjoy it, but all i have to say is this "cheese bread" should be more like dry cheese sponges. Had a great first experience. Came in on a whim, and everything on the menu looked a little unusual. Ordered the Punta Cana sandwich (shredded chicken, raisins, potato sticks, etc)mainly because I'd never heard of it, plus 6 mini cheese breads since the place is named for it. Suffice to say everything was very tasty and just a bit different from what you get anywhere else! (Unless you're familiar with Brazilian food I guess.) All the sandwiches come on their cheese bread, made from yuca and mozz. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu! read more

Punta cana sandwich (decent size, about $10) was pretty good. The potato sticks really added flavor. I always add chips to my sandwich, so loved that. The bread was harder than I thought it would be and I didn't get a cheese flavor, so didn't bother to spend the $10 to bring a frozen loaf home. Mama makes some crazy-good combinations and she also taught her staff to be friendly and helpful! I had the Cuban and my mama had the stuffed chicken. We were in sandwich heaven! The best gluten free bread I've ever tried! I asked friends for suggestions and one of them told me about this hidden gem. SO happy I took the drive out there, this place is amazing. From the outside it looked like a tiny house so I couldn't imagine what I'd find, but we went in and met the nicest people. They immediately gave us samples when I told them it was our first time there and I was hooked on the first bite of their amazing cheese bread! The owner then brought out some of his amazing "dulce de leche" to put on the bread. WOW! I've never had anything like it! The food is incredible, by any standards. The bread is delicious, and yet is somehow still gluten free. I don't make an effort to eat gluten free in my daily life, because most gluten free foods I find to not taste so good. However this restaurant defies that standard. The food is fantastic, portion sizes are not huge. They recently raised their prices quite significantly so the portion sizes no longer correspond. I have Crohn's disease so eating here was wonderful as I could eat the food without having adverse affects. However, due to the price increase (& lack of portion increase), we have found other local, gluten free places to eat. read more

I am gluten free and feel so lucky to have the staff at Mamas Cheese Bread Factory offer their fantastic sandwiches! My favorite is the roasted eggplant sandwich. I buy the froze rolls regularly and have always been welcomed with warmth and professionalism by the staff. The staff are genuinely customer oriented and I just love it when they treat me to a warm cheese bread roll to enjoy on my way home. I even got the rest of my out of state family hooked on these! Tossing one of the frozen sandwich rolls into the oven for five minutes and filling it with mozzarella and tomato is my morning breakfast quick trick! Love Mamas!!! read more

Stopped by here for lunch - it was AMAZING! I was a little skeptical of how the gluten free bread would taste, but it was the best roll I've ever had, hands down. If no one told me it was gluten-free, I would have never guessed! I ate the roasted chicken sandwich, which was delicious and full of flavor. I already can't wait to go back and have more of those rolls! We were immediately greeted when we walked in, and were offered a sample roll when we said it was our first time to the restaurant. I had a 05, Mama's Sub. Half way thru I thought it was a little dry. There was no special sauce on it. When I went back in, the owner said that was the way it comes, but if you want some dressing, he would put some on. The roll was good, so I got one to go, and made a better sub at home. Just checked our Mama's Cheese Bread Factory for the first time and it was incredible. I got the chicken sandwich; in between two slices of delicious cheese bread there were roasted red peppers, apple slices, tomato, and lettuce. Very filling yet felt healthy at the same time. There is also a great selection of Brazilian juices from fruits most people around here have never heard of. Highly recommend. read more
