Just recently found out we had gelato in town. I wish I would have branched out and tried a new flavor but I have all summer for that. I had a very creamy yummy peanut butter cup gelato. They also serve coffee, latte's and something I rarely see drinking chocolate. The man behind the counter was super friendly and nice. Wow! Best gelato and friendliest service ever!!! My husband and I first came here for dessert, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. There are so many wonderful flavors to choose from!! My husband had peanut butter cup with hazelnut; and I had mint chocolate chip with cookies and cream. Delicious!!! Very smooth and creamy. Wonderful chocolate flavor, too! I overheard another customer's custom pint order, with one flavor on the bottom and adding other flavors, too. Rock star!! That is definitely the way to go! There was no line when we went. Surprising for one of the warmest days of the year!! As a Wisco native, I have been searching for frozen custard in the area...this seems to a wonderful substitute. I had their salted caramel and my wife had a blend of lemon and mango. It was perfectly tempered cold , creamy, sweet , a little salty in mine and your mouth will dribble for MORE and MORE. The business is operated by a wonderful Italian gentleman and when he speaks you know you're getting the real GELATO . I've been here at least 4 -5 times and they keep on hitting home runs! My pregnant wife has been craving strawberry gelato (not ice cream). We went to another place last week but it was all artificially flavored yet somehow still bland. So she found this place online and we made a day trip out of it. Unfortunately their closest was strawberry-banana, which was close enough to scratch the itch. My wife got hers mixed with chocolate brownie, I had peanut butter cup, and my daughter had cake batter. Everything here was velvety and creamy and very flavorful. I liked that the flavors had some "toppings" mixed in but it wasn't a crazy amount. What a treat!!! We were driving through Brookfield and saw this gelato shop so we figured we would give it a shot. We ate 42 magnificent flavors of gelato when we went to Italy so have kind of high expectations for gelato, but we tried to keep our expectations in check. We were after all, in a strip mall in ct. Well, our expectations were exceeded. My husband got wild blueberry crumble (or something like that) and almond amoretti and they were both so freaking good. I got dark chocolate sorbetti, hazelnut, and espresso chip. Totally different from his, but equally amazing. The chocolate was unlike anything I've had before. It was kind of like a cross between dark chocolate frosting and ice cream. It was all so good!!! Our only complaint was that the plastic cups didn't insulate ot very well from the warmth of our hands. It got melty very quickly and I don't think I've made this much of a mess of myself in many years. But still, TOTALLY WORTH IT.
