I have now used GMaids about (6) times in the past 6 months as I have been in the process of preparing my house for market. The contractors left me a mess in each case......as well as did two teenagers, three dogs, and a smelly cat. The teams that have come through (especially the last one) have done a great job with the details.....including getting the grout cleaned and the deep grime off the teenagers shower walls...ugh!!! She's always on time, polite, and is even on a first name basis with our plethora of pets. I was in need of a maid so I Googled my town name with the word 'maid' and Gmaids came up. I did some research on their website and decided to book, like most places they asked for credit card information which I provided. Two days later I was contacted and told I was outside of their service area. I informed them online it says I'm not, they told me I was wrong. So I again went to their website and clear as day, my town is listed. I'm left feeling uneasy, they have my credit card information. As I'm sure most people know it's all too easy to get scammed these days. So not only am I checking my account 10 times a day for fraud but I'm still looking for a cleaning service. read more

Gmaids sent a trainee for my first deep cleaning. Becauser she was new, they gave me 10 dollars off. She arrived on time and did a great job cleaning our unit. We had just remodeled the kitchen and living room so the place was full of dust. When we returned home the dust was gone! She had cleaned all the floors, the bathrooms, made the beds, and even when the dishes. I will definitely use them again. The only issue I had was that she didn't text me when she arrived and I would have liked her to polish the floors. read more

We have hired Gmaids twice now and both times it has been awesome! Our most recent cleaning was on 11/12. Andrea Flores was our cleaner and she did an amazing job. Our house hasn't looked good this in years and it was evident the amount of time and attention given to every room. I was recommended Gmaids by a friend and I'm so glad I went with them. I've been struggling with a lot of health issues lately and as everyone knows, life slows down for no one, even the sick. Very good service. The maid showed up on time, to the wrong entrance to my building, but we figured it out. Everything she cleaned was exceptionally well done. She missed a few things that I had requested online, and when I sent feedback, the company sent her back to re-clean at no extra cost. I loved the mint smell of the products she used. Writing an update to address the response and outright lies of the owner "Juan" with GMaids. He is saying they attempted to call me, but that wasn't until after they failed to contact me after my terrible cleaning service. That email on the 5th was my 2nd attempt to resolve the issues and after they flat out did not call me back. He is posting screenshots of his emails, but not of my *numerous* replies that I sent to them indicating I could not speak on the phone during the day due to my job. I also explained that I wanted written evidence of our conversation in case I needed to report them to the BBB. I also sent them videos of the issues along with some photos that he so conveniently left out of his response. He also fails to mention that they went almost another month without contacting me, in which I had to follow-up with them again. This company's philosophy is definitely not "the customer is always right", it's exactly the opposite. I felt like they were accusing me of lying about my poor cleaning service because their maid was so wonderful. I highly advise folks to find another company in which to do business, because this one is a pure scam. In addition, I requested to cancel my recurring monthly maid service at the same time this happened the beginning of January, and at the end of January I received an email reminder that my cleaning service for February was about to take place. I had to email them yet again to cancel this otherwise I would have reported their company for credit card fraud. Feel free to reach out directly to me via Yelp messenger if you'd like to see these communications, and don't believe the owners ridiculous response, otherwise you will find yourself in my position - out $180 dollars with a house that's still dirty and a company unwilling to come reclean in a timely fashion or refund your money. read more

I give one star due to availability. I called 12/1 to book a cleaning appointment later in the month, 12/15 or 12/19, for my parent's house. I processed the quote online, but they don't confirm availability until later. When they called my Mom later that day, they said the only availability they had was 12/2, the next day. Obviously this was not acceptable, and would defeat the purpose of having the house cleaned for the holidays. I personally left with the impression that this may not be a very large business, as I think 3weeks advance notice should be reasonable. If they know they are booked out, maybe also post that on the website so folks don't waste their time processing a quote and waiting for a call back. I learned my lesson and called Maid Masters, another high-rated service on Yelp, and checked their availability up front. They were comparable in price and had options for availability. read more

After using Gmaids at a prior apartment, I was looking forward to re-using their service. Today they told me that because I am an existing customer whose last appointment was over a year ago, they would have to charge a higher cleaning fee. Even though I am now in a small studio apartment that was professionally cleaned for my April move in - they cannot reconcile the fact that I am a current customer with my living at a new address. I was left in a jam as i had another maid service no show. I had to get my house cleaned as I have new tenants moving in this week. I called and got an appointment same day. A few hours later 2 maids showed up and completed the deep cleaning within 4-5 hours. Overall, they did a very good job. I did a first time cleaning with G maids. I felt that the young lady went above and beyond because she did all I asked her to do plus some obvious things and even a few more I hadn't expected. I had Gmaids come out to clean the house we were moving into, I specifically asked them to clean all cabinets inside and out, all ceiling fans, inside windows and blinds and the basic cleaning everywhere else. I was not happy with the service, they only cleaned 2 of the 6 celing fans, my bedroom, guest room and part of my den were not even dusted. The windows and blinds looked good but the glass doors were not shined and they could have done a better job on the wood flooring. I was charged $210 for this service...not worth it at all. The ladies were pleasent but it was towards the end of the day before a holiday weekend so I think they really cut corners. It's sad becuase I need another house cleaned for move out and really wanted a bi weekly service. I guess it's their loss. Buyer beware of Gmaids! read more
