One of the best dessert I had ever eaten in my life...straight up! We went to 14th St Market to get some! It's insane how I've never been into pudding but this blew me away...so good! I wish I can eat this everyday! It's based in Oakland! I'm from San Jose. I wish I can eat it more often! Will be getting more soon hopefully! Super good! The crunch part is sweet and crunchy. The pudding is banana and beyond good. So good.

This banana pudding is the best I've ever had and I'm going to go ahead and say it's one of the best desserts I've had also. I love how the owner put his own twist and truly made it his own. The crumble, the texture, the layers of banana, cookies, and pudding... Just wow... I ended up devouring mine. Not only is the product amazing, but the owner is very down to earth and kind. Check G'nana Puddin out, you will not be disappointed! I'm ordering for the holidays to show my family that this banana pudding IS IT!

One of my favorite desserts ever. G'nana Pudding is a pop up that does banana pudding. I'm usually not a fan of pudding, but banana pudding is so unique. It's pudding with crust. The presentation is just beautiful. There is a crust layered on top. There is pudding below that. In the pudding itself, there are also crust and bread-like pieces. There is also banana. The overall taste is sweet, but not overpowering. The quality is superb. This dessert is next level. Contact G'Nana Pudding on Instagram/DM. The guy that runs it also drops it off at Smokin Woods BBQ or 14th Street Market in Oakland.

Im not a big pudding person but a friend told me about Gnana so I decided to reach out and try it myself. I talked to Greg and he was very responsive and set up a time to meet me for a drop off in Oakland . I am blown away this pudding is so delicious!! When I looked at it I thought it would be okay but after I tasted it omg best pudding I've had! I'll def get it again.

Best Banana Pudding I have ever had. I have ordered a few more times and all my family members also loved it. Highly recommend it.

There are glass cases full of breads, cakes, eclairs, tarts and other delicious looking baked goods. On the top of the cases are jars with a variety of cookies to choose from, as well as, one of my favorites, their lemon shortbread bar. The lemon shortbread bar is amazing. They stack the wedges in a large lidded glass jar, each wedge separated with a sheet of white parchment paper. I believe this is one of the hidden gems at La Farine. The shortbread crust Is tender and buttery and hold holds it shape well when you bite into it. The lemon curd is creamy with the right amount of tang, and there is a thin sweet layer of crunch on top of curd that puts this bar over the top. The balance of textures and flavors is perfect. I also highly recommend the chocolate eclairs. Each one is filled with a generous amount of piped whipped cream, a pate choux with good flavor and texture, and topped with a rich, silky layer of chocolate ganache. Overall their prices are reasonable -lemon shortbread bar $3, and chocolate eclair 3.50. I decided to give La Farine four stars because on a previous visit I had a slice of the Moka cake, and was not impressed. It is an attractive and delicious looking cake with lovely pale moka colored frosting surrounding layers of dark chocolate cake, however, the frosting lacked the coffee and chocolate flavor combo that I was looking forward to, and sadly the frosting was more waxy than creamy. That being said, I will definitely be back to search for the next delicious gems at this very lovely bakery on Piedmont Ave.

Unique and creamy dessert experience…read more Had a bon bon at Mr. Dewie's Cashew Creamery in Piedmont and it was such a fun, different kind of dessert stop. The cashew-based bon bon was super creamy with a smooth texture that felt rich without being heavy. The flavor was clean and slightly nutty, and it didn't taste overly sweet, which made it really easy to enjoy. It's a nice alternative if you're looking for something dairy-free but still indulgent. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the staff were happy to let me try a few flavors before choosing. The vibe is small, cozy, and charming more of a specialty dessert shop where you can tell everything is made with intention and care. Overall, a great spot for a lighter but still satisfying sweet treat. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Piedmont area and want something a little different from regular ice cream.

Friendly, helpful service. The person ahead of me ordered a double scoop and it looked so good I wanted my own, but knew I had to wait until later. Anyway, the scoops were quite large and the customer looked quite happy. I tried the two limited edition flavors. Ube and a Sri-nidadian Coco Cocoa, an upgraded version of a similar flavor they have had before. Well, the new and improved version of the Coco (coconut) Cocoa is DELICIOUS! Luckily on my return after dinner there was enough to make a pint! Whew! The shop is small so no dining inside, but there's some seating outside. I planned ahead and had my cooler and ice pack ready to take my pint home!

They also have several vegan/non-dairy options for others too. Most of their non-dairy are actually cashew based, which is interesting to try. Came in on a Sunday night with a big group. The employee would forget which flavors we wanted and rudely asked for all of us (who already got our ice cream) to leave the space as it was getting too crowded. Fair ask, yes. The way it was delivered? Just rudely said with a bad tone too. I also got charged for my ice cream when one of my friends had already paid for mine in front of me. I went to have it reversed, and he was saying how my friend paid for 6 singles and I got a junior size then there was nothing to be reversed. If anything we paid twice and for the wrong size. I get that it may have been confusing especially with big groups and long lines but it could have been handled more professionally.
