Came to this business to see if they sold a particular health drink that I'd been looking for, sign said they were still open but the door was locked. Knocked on the door and the girl behind the door refused to budge or even acknowledge why the business had decided to shut down early. This is not a way a business should be operating especially when so many are shutting down due to poor service or lack of staffing. I would suggest management review this procedure with the staff member in question to determine why they decided to lock up on their own accord. i've tried 3 other GNC's and this one in Folsom was the only store where I could find my favorite protein powder. While i was there, the 2 female employees working were very knowledgeable and helped me picked out a new creatine that was tailored more towards my goals. I find myself to be pretty picky but they had everything i was looking for AND were able to back it up with facts and really helpful nutrition tips. definitely will be coming here instead and worth the drive! read more

If you want to learn how to improve your life and learn a little but about muscle growth, in a great homie environment with every vitamin and natural protein powder available on the market. Go to GNC When i walked in the door a head popped out with a happy smile and a wave with a, "hey how are you today!" the man behind the counter was a well built buff guy named Nate. Very friendly and asked me how he can help me today. Usually i think really ripped guys are mean and narrsisitic but Nate was a down to earth awesome person who had litteraly every answer to every question with little to no lag time. I love when i can come into a store and walk out with some product and know a little bit more and feel like my money was put to good use! If anyone can help you, Nate can! I told him my situation and what i wanted to get (lean muscle) he said a awhh... hmm... and started looking at all the protein like in the movie harry potter where the old man picks harry's wand. Nate was finding the right protein for me and told me the creatine content and the newest stuff of the nitro fuel (protein mix) and alot of other power diets and other stuff you never think of to be healthy. I visited my local GNC today and I was incredibly disappointed. First, this is a store to support health. It will he visited by people who are sick or immune compromised and looking for vitamins to support their immune system. We are 2 days into a mandatory mask policy and the clerk isn't wearing a mask despite a state mandate to do so and just the common decency to do so since immune compromised people will naturally shop there. Also, the vitamins were ridiculously expensive $35 for grape seed extract? $46 for Milk Thistle? Wow. Not a single thing on sale. Just a real disappointment. read more

Im giving this store one star all because a guy named Curtis that i spoke to on the phone 15 mins before closing. I understand that people want to close out early, but to tell me he cant get me a price check because he is closing out his register already takes it to a whole new level. He first warned me on the phone that he closes in 5 mins when i clearly called at 5:45, so i asked him to just get me a price and he told me he cannot do it. I asked him to see if there is a price tag and told me there wasn't. I then i asked if he can just scan it and he then told me that he was closing his register and could not do that. Now what if someone walked in, then what? Is Curtis going to just send that person away? I even told him that im a pretty consistent customer and thats when he got whiney and said "I told you already, i cant do anything im closing" WTF Curtis, wheres the commitment to the people that come into your store consitently? Sure enough vitamin shoppe down the street took care of me regardless of them closing, i spent about $150 in supps by the way. Your loss GNC.
