The kid said his favorite food in whole wide world is pizza so we took him to Fiori on his birthday for some gourmet pie. We were delighted with the pizza and pasta and will be coming back again. When we walked in the restaurant was spacious and nicely decorated. They could seat a good amount of diners in there. We asked for the sun room which was bright with a nice view of old town. The pizzas were loaded with fresh ingredients and the crust was nice and light. I had the parpardelle and it was loaded with pulled pork and the noodles were silky smooth. We also tried the eggplant parm and it was very fancy, much better than the TJ frozen we usually eat. I had a bite of the rissotto and it was nice and smokey from the truffles. They gave us free focaccia bread with oil and vinegar dipping sauce. The service was really good and they even brought out a free birthday dessert for the kid. I made a reservation and mentioned we were celebrating the kid's bday in the notes, which made it nice I didn't have to tell them after we arrived. All in all a great experience and I will be back!

We went in on Sunday evening around 5:30pm and were seated immediately. My only complaint was the service, we had to call the server to put order and ask for water refill. When my husband asked for the check, the other server was quickly rushed in to clean our table while I was just finish my last bite. - Margerita pizza: love the crust! The pizza was cheesy and the tomato sauce was good. - Butternut squash gnochi: the white sauce was very creamy and delicious. The gnochi pieces were perfectly cooked, soft, and the buttenut squash center had a sweetness to the dish. I even scrapped out all the sauce using the complimentary garlic bread.

I had a great early dinner at Fiori on Memorial Day after spending some time on the water. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day, and it was fun to watch the world go by. Service was quick and prompt, and got everything when needed. Fiori is perfectly tailored to the building it stands in, very impressed by the interior and the plate ware. I very much enjoyed our food, my favorite parts were the Burrata Crostini and dessert I will be back to Fiori

If I could rate it 3.5 I would, had a reservation for 7:30. Upon entering the decor was modern, they have led signs that are cute for pictures. Delicious bread was handed out, and the menu was very nice. I will only speak to the food I ordered, which was the lobster bucatini ($40) & the chicken piccata (27) The lobster bucatini was beautifully presented however the overwhelming smell coming from the lobster tail was unbearable, the color was a little off and it was incredibly salty to the point where I could not eat it. The chicken piccata was okay! I love capers but the amount of lemon juice that was on the chicken was just too much. The mashed potatoes and greens were delicious. I also ordered the dolce vita drink and it was okay! Looked lovely. Staff was nice! Would definitely want to try more items.

The restaurant is located in a charming historic town, which adds to the overall experience. There isn't a private parking lot, but there is public parking nearby. It's a great area to walk around and explore after your meal. The interior is more spacious than I expected. It's slightly dim overall, with a bar area on one side and a brighter dining space on the other. I went for Valentine's Day lunch and requested a table by the window in the brighter section. They had scattered faux flower petals on the table, which was a cute touch. The whole place has a lovely, romantic vibe. There's also outdoor seating available. The food wasn't mind-blowingly amazing, but it was pleasantly tasty and well-seasoned. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared. The servers were friendly, and what really stood out to me was their attentiveness, we ordered several dishes but only one pasta to share, and they automatically split it into two plates for us without us even asking. That small, thoughtful gesture made the experience even better. But the fried calamari was pretty cold when it was served.. Overall, it was a cute and feel-good dining experience. Highly recommend!

We came back again to try different items on the menu. The drinks are always 10/10! All the pastas we got had really good texture, but the sauces needed a little more salt for seasoning. Gnocchi had the perfect texture!

Great dinner at Fiori! We had dinner guests and decided to eat there for Italian food. The service was fantastic and I had the seafood linguine, a great choice for seafood and pasta lovers! Perfect portion as I was hungry! For desert we tried the bread pudding and it was phenomenal! We all shared the serving and it was the perfect ending to a great dinner! The establishment was pretty busy as many were out after the holiday, but the noise level was reasonable. Located in old Folsom, it's a great place with a great location. Give it a try!

I thank my lucky stars to have found this restaurant gem. I wasn't planning to eat here, but neither Waze nor Google Maps could find the restaurant I was looking for, and my back up was closed due to Thanksgiving. The restaurant is situated in a charming area in Folsom that's bursting with character. Parking seemed fairly limited, so allow extra time to find a spot. Complimentary focaccia bread with a balsamic and olive oil dipping sauce was served to start. A nice surprise given so many restaurants are charging for bread these days. I started with the Red and Gold beet salad, which was one of their specials. The beets were cooked perfectly and paired well with the walnuts, cheese and dressing. Wanting to keep things healthy, I had the Salmone Sicilian as my main. The salmon was wild, cooked to perfection and accompanied by perfectly cooked potatoes and a few pieces of sliced squash and zucchini. The deserts all sounded amazing but I ran out of room. There is a charming outdoor patio with blankets to keep you warm should you dare to eat outside when the weather is cooler. All in all I had a fabulous meal that exceeded my expectations. I love the fact that there are a lot of organic options on the menu. The waitress was from Turkey and very attentive and professional. I appreciated that the restaurant was open on a major holiday and thanked all the staff for working. I'd highly recommend eating here!

I have been wanting to try this place and glad I did. Love the ambience of this place, looks very inviting. I loved the pizza, it had all my favorite toppings (arugula, burrata, olives, drizzle of balsamic) and the crust was just perfect. The Pappardelle had braised short ribs and it wasn't too creamy. I will be back and try their other dishes.

If you're trying to decide what to order here, this is my pitch for you: get the lasagna! Everything was absolutely delicious, but the lasagna was phenomenal. I'd been wanting to try this spot for awhile, especially since I hadn't found a favorite Italian restaurant in the area, and let me tell you Fiori did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Would totally recommend and I'll definitely be going back!

Wanted to try out this place since I was in the mood for Italian food. Located on the corner where the former Chicago Fire Pizza used to be, the interior is much lighter and modern. A projector in the main dining area shows various footage of Italy -- very cool. Came here for lunch on a weekend after the farmers market with some friends. Fiori features a lunch menu with items such as omelettes and paninos. I wasn't sure what a "panino" was but figured it would be like a sandwich of some sort. The Panino Pollo ($16) featured chicken, onions, tomatoes with an aioli sauce. The bread seemed more like a pita bread rather than a focaccia or crusty bread which I would have preferred however the chicken was moist and the ingredients were fresh. Service was on point! Attentive, friendly. I didn't feel rushed (pet peeve) to leave and would definitely come back here to try out their dinner menu.

Was looking for wood fire Margarita Pizzas and Caesar Salads. They were very welcoming and sat us down as soon as we stopped by for lunch. The entire restaurant is beautiful from the entrance to the dining room. There's a lot of natural lighting and it goes perfectly with the interior of the restaurant. Ordered a margarita pizza, Caesar salad and Caprese Salad. Margarita pizza tasted amazing! The sauce was sweet but taste fresh. I would only recommend having a little more solid crust, it flopped when we took it from the pizza.(just my preference nothing negative) The Caesar salad was amazing, fresh, crisp and had fresh Parmesan on top. Very refreshing. The Caprese salad was also fresh, but from previous reviews I was expecting heirloom tomatoes but I think was given Roma tomatoes? Everything tasted amazing but just thought it came with heirloom tomatoes.

    BURRATA

We were driving by the street and were attracted by the vibrant atmosphere of the cute patio at this little Italian restaurant, so we decided to stop in and give it a try. The food was delicious and clearly made with care. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. My favorites were the burrata and the spaghetti carbonara. A huge plus for me is that it's kid-friendly, and the restroom is nice and clean, which is always appreciated when dining out with family. Definitely a hidden gem and we'll be back again soon!

That was exactly what happened after my first visit here. Those meatballs lived rent-free in my brain, so coming back was an easy call. Earlier in the day we took a nice walk around Folsom Lake with some friends. Fresh air, good conversation, and by the time we wrapped up everyone had that universal look of "okay... where are we eating?" As we drove back and passed Dominick's it was one of those moments where the decision basically made itself. I was like yep... this is happening. Pulling up I noticed the line was out the door, which honestly is the Italian restaurant version of a five-star Yelp wink. A line like that usually means something good is happening inside. The place itself has a great vibe and you can tell people genuinely love this spot. While waiting I looked around the shop area and noticed they have wines available for purchase. One bottle caught my eye immediately... a 100-point rated wine. For anyone who knows wine, that's basically the culinary equivalent of a mic drop. A perfect score from top critics is rare air. Naturally I did what any responsible food lover would do... I snagged it. A 2020 Super Tuscan that felt like finding hidden treasure on a shelf. The young lady behind the counter was an absolute delight. Super friendly, welcoming, and she even laughed at one of my dad jokes... which means either it was actually funny or she deserves an Oscar. Either way, great hospitality all around. The food came out and the table looked like a proper Italian feast. We had the meatballs, calzones, a chicken panini, and the coleslaw salad. My friends were loving everything. Plates were disappearing fast which is always a good sign. Now for the moment I had been waiting for... the meatballs. They were still good, but they didn't quite pop the way they did in my memory. You know that nostalgic flavor that takes you right back to the first bite you ever had? That lightning bolt moment? I was hoping for that same flavor encore. This time it felt more like the band playing an acoustic version of the hit song. Still enjoyable... just missing a little of that original fireworks. But hey, every great restaurant gets an off day, and honestly the overall experience was still a great stop. Good food, great hospitality, and a place that clearly has a loyal following. And those meatballs? I'm confident they'll make their comeback tour. When they do... best believe I'll be back for the encore.
