The store is often crowded, but it is very organized and the staff is friendly. The ambiance is vibrant and they have a great selection of produce & snacks. Their hot bar is convenient and very delicious. Their sushi selection is also excellent and the sushi is very fresh! I always make sure I get myself a smoothie as well. Their drinks are simply delicious and very refreshing. My favorite is the iconic Hailey Bieber smoothie!

Everything was organic, even the hair dye. My rastafari friend would buy her hair dye there because it had no chemicals and this store was known for quality products. Now it's a smoothie shop. And I guess a grab and go food station. Yes they still sell food, the fresh fruits and vegetables are displayed very nicely in the back of the store. They do have a great selection of beauty products I was like Nordstrom who? I might've spent longer than I should've in that section. But it was their yogurt section that did it for me because I discovered Ari's Greek Yogurt at the farmers market and they sell it here! So I bought a bunch of flavors that set me back about $40 on my ebt but you know what, sometimes you need to splurge. Self-care. FYI, you can buy a $22 smoothie with ebt but you have to pay at checkout then go pick up. The kiosk won't process ebt, only credit cards. I know so rude. I saw a girl get yelled at for trying to take a picture of the smoothie bar as I waited for mine, "no pictures!" It's not a grocery store, it's a cultural event

The process was definitely different from a regular doctor visit, but honestly, it was a really interesting experience. Since the practitioner doesn't speak English, I translated my symptoms into Chinese using Google Translate and showed him my phone. He checked my tongue and pulse very carefully before writing out a custom herbal tea prescription entirely in Chinese characters. You then take the prescription to the front counter where they prepare the herbs into 5 separate bags. Each bag lasts 2 days, and you boil the herbs for about an hour, strain the tea, and save the rest for the next day. I'm not going to lie -- the tea tastes STRONG. Very earthy, bitter, and honestly like dirt lol. Each boiled tea bag yields 24-32 oz. that needs to be consumed warm, preferably in one sitting after lunch. It was hard to drink, but after finishing my first cycle (10days) I noticed a huge improvement in my symptoms. They explained that most people do 2-3 cycles using the same prescription for full results. I genuinely feel a lot better. I paid $20 for consultation + $85 for the tea. If you use the prescription and 2nd time you only pay for the tea of $85. They take credit cards but there is a $6 transaction fee.

I absolutely love…read moreexploring grocery stores; each and every one is unique, has different deals, a different aesthetic, and select food. I like to walk around in them for fun all the time. So... take my review seriously!!! I tried almost all their food and can give a detailed rundown on each one. They have amazing, amazing, amazing food made with love here and employees that are incredibly kind and funny. They're welcoming and you can tell they really enjoy working at Rainbow Acres and want to spread good vibes. Their food is made in house, from scratch, exactly what it is. No food dyes or processing. Just fresh, straightforward food for a good price. RAINBOW ACRES MADE ME SHED A TEAR. I was so incredibly ecstatic to find an healthy, grocery CO-OP near me. The smoothies are great, they sometimes have samples. They're all delicious and they also can be paid with EBT. Their guac and chips was actually the best I've ever had from a grocery store. The guacamole had enough salt and lime, like... whole foods and chipotle guac was PUT TO SHAME. Well-seasoned, super chunky, cilantro, red onion, tomato, mmm, and those chips were actually fresh tortilla chips. So crunchy and light. So yum. God. Their sandwich was insane. Slices and heaps of chicken breast for double the price of a sprouts sandwich and quadruple times more tasty. Don't second guess it, just get it!!! BBQ chicken and ranch salad was insane. I ate it in like 10 mins and my stomach was bulging. When you see it, it will be irresistible. The grilled chicken is marinated and covered in a sweet bbq sauce and their housemade ranch is seasoned deeply, comparable to wingstop's ranch. Crunchy lil tortilla chips and crunchy salad with some roasted corn. Every single thing in that plate had its own flavor, unlike the prepackaged slop at other stores. However, it was close to $20... The fruit tart was FRESH and yummy, a tad sweet, but all the fruit was incredibly quality. The crust left a little to be desired, but great nonetheless. Their hot deli food is great too. We got a parm crusted chicken breast and it was very juicy and flavorful. The samples were great, even their curry is packed with flavor. Their turkey chili was insanely hearty and delicious, thankfully not too salty. chili mango is the best my boyfriend claims he's ever had. immense selection of unique canned and bottled drinks. They make their own green smoothies and juices in glass bottles, but there's also local branded magnesium teas, adaptogens, sparkling waters, etc. LOTS AND LOTS of vegan options. Great selection of teas and medicinal herbs and pure oils meant for the skin. I picked up some grapeseed oil and snacks. Some of the prices here are cheaper than whole foods, but some are more expensive. I really love Rainbow Acres, but some of their prices can be expensive. However, when factoring in the quality, freshness, and how the food is SIMPLE AND CLEAN AND HOPEFULLY AS ETHICAL AS IT CAN BE, it justifies the prices. The employees are always helpful, so it does help to imagine that the higher prices go to them as well. I'm really happy that this place exists. It's not pretentious and makes clean eating accessible for anyone.

I had stopped by on Thursday evening, but by the time I got there, most of the ice cream was already sold out. I figured there would be a much better selection if I went early in the morning, so even though it was the weekend, I headed there almost as soon as I woke up. As I expected, there were plenty of ice cream flavors available early in the morning, which made me really happy. I ended up buying three flavors: Van Leeuwen Dubai Style Chocolate Cone, Van Leeuwen Sicilian Pistachio, and McConnell's × See's Candies Vanilla California Brittle. I tried all three, and every single one was absolutely delicious. I also picked up some organic mustard and white balsamic vinegar. When I checked out, a young male employee helped me. I asked him if the 50% discount on the ice cream was for Amazon Prime members, and he confirmed that it was. Then I asked him how to show that I was an Amazon Prime member, and he kindly explained the process. He even put all of my groceries into the shopping bag I had brought with me. He was very friendly and helpful, which made my shopping experience even better. When I was picking out the ice cream, an employee who was stocking items nearby kindly held the freezer door open for me. I really appreciated that as well. He suddenly held the door, so I looked up in surprise. He said he was just trying to help, so I thanked him I also love that Whole Foods Market is within walking distance of my home. It's so convenient, and they always have a great selection of high-quality products. Just a heads-up: The 50% off ice cream promotion for Amazon Prime members runs through July 7th. If you're not an Amazon Prime member, you can still get 44% off instead.

Overall, this is easily one of my go-to grocery stores in LA, and I literally stop by almost every day. The store is always organized, clean, and easy to shop. Not everything is organic, but they carry a lot of great products, and the overall selection is strong. I usually get my daily produce here, and I also buy wine here pretty often. The water refill area is always kept clean, which I appreciate, and their fresh juice section is one of my favorite parts of the store. The larger juices come in plastic, but the price on the orange juice is hard to beat, so I keep going back for it. I also like their prepared food section. During one stretch I was buying it pretty often and was always happy with the options, especially since a lot of the food avoids seed oils and uses grass-fed beef. They even have a live kitchen where you can sign up for classes and participate in food prep, which is a really cool touch and makes the store feel more thoughtful and community-oriented. The staff is another big plus. I've interacted with a lot of the cashiers and employees here, and they've all been sweet, personable, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. You can tell the people working here care and that the store is trying to offer a better experience. My only real issue is the meat and fish section. I've tried a lot from it over time--chicken breast, wings, ground wagyu, marinated items, branzino--and too often I've felt like I wasn't getting the freshest product. That's the one department that has consistently let me down. It's disappointing because the rest of the store is so strong. I also don't really understand why the wagyu ground beef costs almost double when it's formed into patties, but that's more confusing than a dealbreaker. At the end of the day, I still think Lazy Acres is one of the best grocery stores in LA, especially for convenience, cleanliness, product mix, and staff. But I've pretty much told myself to stop buying meat here, because for the same price I can get much better quality from a proper butcher. Since it's only a 3-minute walk from me, I'll absolutely keep coming back, just with a little more selectiveness about what I buy.

The employees were genuinely helpful and a cut above what you usually find at a grocery store -- and yes, you pay a premium for that. I picked up some vegetables and fruit, and the pineapple was outstanding -- easily the best I've bought in the U.S. The vegetables were noticeably better than what I get at my local market. This is a great place to shop when you want high-end produce, meat, or fish. Would I do my weekly grocery shopping here? Probably not. But as a quality-focused stop, I really liked this store.
