His service was relaxed and un "salesman" like and I was very pleased. It took him a few weeks to get what I wanted. I don't feel as if he rushed to sell me just anything, he found a car that worked for me. For a small dealership, he provides big service. He took care of the smog and dmv stuff. I've been searching for a BMW 6 series now for a while, and this car popped up on craigslist that seemed too good to be true. It was advertised $3k lower than the cheapest one I've found, and seemed to be in great shape. They were completely upfront with the car, and even had an upclose picture of a scratch on the front bumper as well as minor rock chips in their ad. This was the complete opposite of what I've been experiencing with other dealers in thinking a car was in excellent shape, only to find a bunch of issues once i see the car in person. Called, scheduled an appointment, and went to see the car. Guess what!?!? There was not a single issue other than the ones disclosed. They let me drive the car by myself, came back 20 minutes later, and wrapped the deal up. I did try to negotiate with them, although they said they have a "one price" philosophy which was fine, because i was out of there in 15 minutes, and got a very very good deal. I told them I wanted to do a transmission flush because I had no idea if one was ever done, and if so when; and asked for recommendations. They scheduled an appointment with a shop they use to have the work done under their acct (wholesale pricing), who did the job 3x cheaper than a local bmw indy. Not only did I get a great car, I now have a major hookup for mechanical work, and met a really cool dealer. Highly recommend these guys!

Had a Powertrain malfunction luckily still under warranty so brought it to concord for the first…read moretime. Ever other dealership asks me for $100 deductible but this trip cost me triple that for some reason. They said they found a loose hose and reconnected it and that fixed the Powertrain malfunction but as soon as I drove off the lot the signs of a problem with my Powertrain were still there. $300 for them to waste a week of my time and a reattached hose that was unrelated to the issue. Not to mention my advisor was hard to reach, had a problem honoring the 20 mile range to drop me off and pick me up, denied my request for a loaner instantly. Had to demand my car back after then saying they were going to contact me back and never doing that. And cherry on top, told me all about their car washing service, even marked it on my paperwork but of course no wash was given.

I had another truck at a nearby dealership to try out right after. After the test drive of #2, I came back to test drive their truck. They answered my questions, negotiated fairly with me and we struck a deal. On the day I picked up the truck, they worked with me with last minute items and helped me after the purchase with the DMV. I had a great experience with Martinez Truck and Auto. I would gladly refer people to them and buy another vehicle from them.

Wow. I have seen two friends (who didn't know each other) get cars from here be absolute crap. Both cars instantly had problems and were far from having been serviced recently. When they took it back in to see what would be done they both got the same answer: "These cars are sold as is and you must drive like a maniac" HAHAHA. One was brought 100 miles later and the other didn't make it 12 miles! Brakes were low, transmission leaks, black dirty oil and on and on. If you do happen to find yourself there buying a car, PLEASE get it checked out - no matter what they tell you. At the end of the day they are used car salemen. $100-200 in a pre-purchase inspection would've saved both these chumps thousands of dollars.

They…read morehad a reasonably priced car so I decided to drive the hour and a half to go take a look at it. Jim told me to meet him at his house since I would be coming after work. I test drove the car and everything looked fine but I decided to have a mechanic look at it just in case. To my delight, the car was in decent shape and I was ready to make an offer on the car. Unfortunately, I couldn't get in touch with Jim. Well it turns out that this "company" is owned and operated by one man and he's apparently too busy to answer my phone calls. I tried to get in contact with him for two weeks, leaving voicemails, calling from various numbers... with no response. So today, I once again tried to contact him and he happened to answer his phone. He explained to me that the car had been sold immediately after my shop took a look at it... Okay. I mean its one thing to sell a car out from under a prospective buyer. But he was unprofessional and disrespectful when he responded to my surprise with, "I thought I called you." REALLY? if you called me and told me the vehicle was sold two weeks ago, why the hell am I calling you? I am totally put off by Jim and I'd like to save anyone else the pain of trying to work with him. Good Luck car shopping, you'll be better off without this brokerage's help.

I found my ideal car through a posting that Equity Auto Brokerage had placed on Craig's list. Jim, the owner, was completely honest and up front with any imperfections with the car. I took the car to a mechanic and there were NO surprises. Jim was forthcoming with everything. In addition, this guy kept his word on every level. I honestly had the worst experience here . I was recommended by someone and they mentioned I can do…read morea payment plan so I said hey why not . Drop my car off he breaks my wheel bearing then charges me for it . Comes up with crazy prices $950 for breaks and rotors and the wheel bearing he broke. I've have 10 Diff cars never have I paid that much for breaks and rotors . To me that's outrageous then he said $850 so you really are just making up prices . I begged him not to leave my car over night and to fix the wheel bearing and we will worry about breaks tomorrow. Nope so I had to leave my car in Richmond over night . The next day comes and hours go by I finally get my car he only ends up doing the back . He tells me my car is shaking bad bc of my bad tires . Well 2 days ago before I brought my car my car was driving smooth as a babies bottom. Literally no issues . Get it back and it's a lil bumpy but I get 5 min from my job and it's unbearable. Shaking so bad I had to pull over in an unsafe location on Hwy4 . I get out and my front driver side lug nuts are completely loose . He sends two men out 30+ min later (at this point my job calls me off) they get there and they tighten them but I can tell something was still wrong , I'm still in a unsafe location so I don't look. Then I get back on road and my engine light comes on. Mind you my car was in perfect condition before brining here . I called him and sent pics of my engine he refused to look at it after I told him I did not want to leave my car there overnight. So anyway then a day or 2 later it's back shaking bad, I get out and look and my whole front driver side lug nut is missing broke in half . So when I had the concern something was wrong when the two guys came to fix my tire I was right, they broke my lug nut and did not say anything to me about it. Then I called him and he was trying to give me the hardest time about it when he was the only person working on my car and he already stripped my first lug not on my back passenger tire . To say the least I'm glad he did the payment arrangement because I will never be going back and he will not be getting a full payment from me . I paid $200 and with the work I received and the amount of backlash I got for his shi* work . I think we are even . Plus I'm not paying $150 for a wheel bearing you broke. Kumar was very helpful and very respectful when I arrived, he did not rush me and gave me the time I needed to look at the cars. He also let me test drive it by myself which I thought was pretty cool. The prices and taxes were a little high but I picked a very nice and reliable car. I love my new car and it runs great. This dealership gives warranties on all of his cars and takes value at making sure your car is well taken care of. If there is any issues , he takes responsibility and fixes whatever needs to be fixed. I Definitely recommend this dealership!
