Used this car wash on 1 occasions to wash my rental prior to returning it. An agent assisted with the selection and payment. I selected a single wash only. Just about a month later I received a transaction in my card for a membership I didn't sign up for. Note to self and others: Complete the transaction yourself, I don't know it the agent receive commission on each membership, but to process someone's card for something other than what they requested is fraud. For my protection I am requesting a replacement are from my bank. I generally leave my card locked but the for me on the one occasion when it was not. Waiting in a response back from the location about the matter. Left a voicemail and sent an email request as well. read more

I was a member since July 2025 through April 2026. In December, I had some trim get pulled off in the car wash. I put in an incident report and was told I would be contacted. I had to go back to ask about it because nobody contacted me. GO Car Wash found that they were at fault, that they would be covering the repair, and that I would be contacted. I had to return to the car wash again and ask for the managers contact information because I was not contacted. Further contact was done with Quentin, who I believe was the manager, through phone. Unclear instruction was given little by little. Multiple unanswered calls and ignored messages and the months that have passed at this point make me believe the only way to have GO Car Wash pay for the repair is to talk to a lawyer, which would have been more expensive than simply paying for the repair myself. I am likely in the minority, but I strongly recommend people to find other car wash companies as I do not know the number of GO Car Wash locations under this manager. Used to love this place and I've been going here since 2019, but recently the staff hasn't been the nicest. I understand it's hard keeping employees, but there is no reason the tunnel attendant should yell at me when there has been no gesture to pull up or anything. The sign says "please wait for tunnel attendant" so I waited. I've been thinking of cancelling my membership for a while and this kind of cemented it. read more

Took my car for a wash today and selected the "Go Select" mid level wash for $14 and my car is still dirty and streaky! Soap was essentially thrown on the car and rinsed right off with barley any attempt to actually get the car clean! The rear, sides and front of my car is still dirty and streaky. A total waste of my money! read more

As everyone else says, save your money and go somewhere else. It's more expensive than just hopping on 95 and going to rt3, and the people that work there have crappy attitudes. They seem miserable and pass that on to the customer. Never again. read more

I wanted to take time out of my busy day to write about my experience about 2 weeks ago on a Thursday. I signed up for the membership without realizing it goes up from 10-15$ after 2 months, at the time I wasn't explained that until I seen charges on my card that had a 5-dollar difference. Okay no problem just maybe I missed when I was told it would go up. After calling for 2 days I decided to go there to ask my question. When I arrive 2 gentlemen outside one doing his job and one not. OfCourse, I choose the one who isn't busy and come to find out after introduction he was a manager. After I asked for help with the membership this child looked up from his phone was doing whatever on it without word started walking towards, they office. Okay so I'm lost do I stand here, walk with you, it would be nice if you would open your mouth. Be careful what you ask for cause once he did start to speak it was very aggressive, demeanor towards a woman was uncalled for. I had my 3-year-old son in my hand at the time and when walking into the office another young man very respectful offered me a seat, Manager Child whisper something to him which again didn't bother me. I hope this reaches someone and not just another review that doesn't get address. The position for this Child needs to be reevaluated and demotion maybe from manager to trash boy, towel folder, maybe as needed basis. No worries I will be back to be sure this situation is address. Please save your money! If you choose to use this location, do not pay for the tire shine. The machine has been out of order has not worked for months. The worse part is, they (managers / employees) know the machine is broken and still allow customers to pay for the service. If you choose to use this location, pay for a regular wash. My pickup truck got stuck in the wash (fyi I have normal size tires for a truck). They had to reset the machine and it failed to wash the back of the truck. On top of that, the lady working there was very rude and I had to tell that uncivilized worker that my car was in neutral several times. I'll never go back here. read more

I purchased the Manager Special unlimited plan a couple years ago when it was Rio. Overall at the time the quality of the wash was just Meh ! When the switch to Go Car Wash was beginning, emails and signage stated how many improvements were coming. I have taken my work truck a few times since the change to the location on rt 17, and have not noticed any improvement what so ever. In fact when I went through this morning and got out to use the vacuum and wipe the remaining water off the truck...the 3 vacuums closest to me were running but had no suction to get the job done ! Today's visit was not good ! The 3 closest vacuums were running but did not have any suction. There was still dirt on the windshield and the passenger side. If I'm paying $3 more for all the "improvements", It sure doesn't look like it's worth it anymore, and I will cancel my membership ASAP ! read more

So, this used to be Rio Car Wash and I joined Rio over a year ago to be able to get unlimited car washes for a set price per month. Over the past year, I've noticed more and more small scratches in the paint on my brand new truck. Today, I went to Go Car Wash for the first time and noticed that the rolling drying "flappy thing" was gone and new "glowing red thing" was added at the end. The rest is the same. In addition, they coned off the huge vacuum area and opened the smaller vacuum area - No one wants to open doors right next to another car - never a reason to do this. Not sure where they're going with things, but today's visit wasn't that great and bonus - I hear that the monthly fee is going to increase. Might be time to go back to hand washing, especially since I now need to pay a few hundred bucks to have a specialty detailer fix all the scratches in my paint! read more

This location, formerly known as RIO car wash is now under new management. I got in line for my $5 wash as I have been doing for years, to find out the cheapest wash for the entire car is $13. The $9 only washes your tires according to the service attendant. I paid the $13 and my car did not come out clean. Nothing has been improved, the wash is the same and so are the vacuums. I felt $5 was reasonable, but $13 is not. I won't be back to this location, and suggest you don't as well. If you switch management, you should make price changes and change in management well known and readily visible. A greater than 50% increase in price is unreasonable. This wash damages your car, read the reviews first, I did not as it used to be Rio. I went to this car wash for years when it was Rio Car Wash. It sold and became Go Car Wash. They installed new equipment and reopened so I took my new minivan there for a wash. It was much more expensive than the old one $13 vs $5 and when I went to dry the car the passenger side pinstripe was damaged badly. I notified the manager that I believed his equipment was holding too much tension on the passenger side and had damaged my van. He took an "incident report" on his iPad, took pictures and my information and said someone would contact me. No one did, I had it repaired and it cost $400. I contacted their corporate office and was told it was up to the local wash to contact me. I drove back and a different manager said it was up to the district manager and called him on the phone. I could hear them talking when he was told to tell me that they are not responsible for damage. They have a sign, after you pay as your car is entering the wash, stating so. I knew it wasn't the manager's "fight" so I left. But no one said they were sorry, didn't even offer me a free wash. Basically I paid them to damage my van. I can understand that they can't be responsible for damage to old cars when trim falls off or such, but this is a new van with factory installed stripe that had been through several car washes. It did not damage the driver's side, so I believe there was an issue on the passenger's side with their newly installed equipment. They should have offered something to make this right! They didn't even offer me a refund for the wash that damaged my car. Bad business model. The former car wash never damaged the same car. I had a monthly subscription package a couple of years ago. I noticed that not all of the features in the car wash were working and when I asked why, I was told that they were in the process of fixing/upgrading everything. I was paying for the top tier service so I canceled it since I wasn't getting what I paid for. In May I decided to give them another chance and purchased the monthly package. Every time I went there the plate reader didn't work so I had to call someone over, show them my receipt, and have them lift the gate. I went through again on a Saturday and of course the reader didn't work. I called the guy over, he goes into the office, and he comes back and tells me I don't have a subscription. I showed him my PAID receipt and he still says I don't have a subscription. There were cars behind me so I paid for another wash. I immediately call them and leave voicemail - no reponse so by Tuesday I decide to email and cancel the subscription. Today is Tuesday (10 days later) and I had to email again because no one bothered to respond. Upon closer investigation, the kid who sold me the package not only completely screwed up my license plate (for example, put a 6 instead of the letter g) and even listed my state as MO instead of VA) but no one working there caught it either. The plate number of the receipt was almost impossible to read - very small and faint print - which is why I didn't catch it right away. None of the people who manually opened the gate for me noticed it either - which is why they opened the gate for me. Management at this place is horrible - 10 days is way too long to wait for a response to fix an error made by their employee. Looks like I will have to dispute the charge on my credit card. We had recently went to the car wash and the person who was directing cars on to the belt was rude. When he directed him to turn a bit, my husband accidentally turned too much as was trying to fix it, but as he was trying to we could see this man clearly was cursing. We couldn't hear it because the windows were up and the car wash is loud, however we could clearly seeing using the f and c word while saying "what is wrong with you". As we were passing him, my husband caught him flipping him off, before that man was fully out of sight. We had called the place to tell them about it, but the general manager had told us to not call them and lie about their employees. Tell me why someone would randomly call a company on a complete stranger? He claimed the cameras had audio, but the car wash is loud and I don't understand if the general manager was right about having 32 cameras in the facility, he could clearly see he was angry and flipping us off. read more

My husband's two year old truck's paint was ruined by the brushes at this car wash. He brought it to the managers attention immediately. The staff agreed that it was damaged from the brushes and that this type of damage has happened before. The manager denied any wrong doing and refused to make this right. We have contacted corporate with no response. I would never use this car wash again. read more

Go car wash management (next to the post office on 17) and how they handled my issue is absolutely disgusting. my tires were damaged as the person directing me to the track did so in a hasty manner, causing my car to get off the track and ripped my tires up. this happened 2 months ago. i was with my daughter and we were stranded for 3 hours! That day I was told the claim process would be done for me (I was clearly misinformed) Ive talked to every manager at this point, all with the same non chalant and unapologetic , unprofessional attitude! since then I have had to come in more times that id like to count as they rarely pick up calls. I had an inspection done two weeks ago and the employee told me it was going to be handled quickly, only to find out it was not handled at all and he didn't finish the procedure with me, further delaying the process. I've come in to say I will pay for my new tires and have and bring in documentation just so I can use my car that I still have been paying hundreds in insurance. I have a daughter and I have a life and work! I was advised against that. today I found out that the process had not been started and when I spoke to the manager he had an attitude of oh well bring it in again for inspection. no apologies or accountability at all!! Carlos was so arrogant and refused to take accountability of how unprofessional everything has been. I let him know the day and time frame of when the inspection happened, and his only answer was well I don't know who it was. That's it. I let him know he is the MANAGER and can find out who worked that evening as only a select few can perform the inspection ! I went into the location on 17 Stafford, i was being double charged i spoke with the manager Jerry. he told me he couldn't do anything because the refund would be for several months and he didn't have access to refund me, in fact he told me to dispute it with my bank and if I didn't have any more questions for him that i could leave his office. They don't allow no stars, so I had to pick one. Such a shame because they deserve NONE! Moved to a new area not long ago, but because I had been going to this specific car wash since 2018 and had no issued, I advocated to my husband to stay with them. A few months ago I was blessed enough to purchase a new truck. Went to the car wash today and the washer RIPPED MY RUNNING BOARD COMPLETELY OFF! I heard a loud noise and when done in the car wash, I pulled around to check. My running board was GONE! I went inside the office and told them we have an issue. The guy inside asked what was wrong. I told him my running board was broken off by their machine. He goes out into the washing bay and comes around the side, opened up the office door and says, "Is this your running board?" To which I reply, yes and he proceeds to put it in the back of my BRAND NEW TRUCK! Looks at me and says "we don't cover running boards, it's in our disclaimer". He then proceeded to tell me that since my truck has automatic running boards they should have been put inside before going through! What the actual???????????????? How are my running boards supposed to get clean??? I could understand if more if I had a truck that was barely holding on to its parts, but a BRAND NEW TRUCK? What kind of place operates this way??? I currently have two memberships with Gocar Wash over the past several months there has been less than desirable car wash's for both of my vehicles. two weeks ago on a Saturday I visited the Sebring Dr. location and the front and back of the car did not get washed. This past Saturday i went to Plank Rd. location at 8:30 AM only to find the bay door partially opened and the exit door all the way up but no one around and all door locked. I came back an hour later to find the location still closed with no explanation of why so I went back to Sebring Dr. and had the car washed only to find the front and back not washed again.
