$3,600 thermostat repair? Service Manager doesn't return calls. Evergreen installed our furnace and air conditioner about 5 years ago. Our air conditioner stopped working so I called Evergreen for service. I explained that the furnace was working fine but when air conditioning was turned on, the internal fan ran but the outdoor unit failed to engage and no cool air came out. I also told them that I suspected the thermostat was malfunctioning because it kept cutting out and booting back up. The woman that took the call said that she would make a note to be sure there was a thermostat on the truck when the service technician came out. When the technician arrived I explained I thought the issue was the thermostat but there could be a wiring issue because when the new thermostat wires were installed 5 years ago they had left a opening in the ceiling to the attic. We had gotten a mouse infestation and the mice had gotten into the same wall that the thermostat was placed. The technician then started testing lines to the thermostat and somehow managed to short out a line and cause the main circuit board to "blow". After further testing he also found that the Fan motor had blown out as well. After about 4 hours of work he explained that parts would need to be ordered and we would be without the furnace and air conditioning until they could come back to repair it. He explained Evergreen would pay the cost of the circuit board (invoice isn't clear if that was done and I argued they should also pay for the fan which was working prior to their service call ). I was charged $617 for labor and given an estimate of approx. $2,100 for the complete job (promised estimate was never e-mailed to me). When the technician returned to complete the repairs I asked about the thermostat again. Technician said there was one in the truck if needed. The new circuit board and motor were installed but the unit still did not work. The technician told me that the transformer and "contractor" were also damaged and needed to be replaced. After about 7 hours of work all of those tasks were completed. The technician then tested the unit and it was acting EXACTLY LIKE what it was when I called it in the first time: The furnace worked but air conditioning didn't (internal fan still ran but outdoor unit failed to engage, thermostat kept rebooting). The technician then replaced the thermostat and finally everything worked perfectly (if he would have done this originally I think we would have been done. I was then told the additional cost would be $3,029 (plus $617 already paid). I confronted the technician and said it seemed to me that I had just paid $3600 to get my thermostat replaced....that the other damages were done during testing He said no, there was a short that had caused the other damage. I wanted an itemized receipt and he said it would be emailed to me right away (a week later I had to call in order to get a copy that contained no itemized prices). I can't prove it but I am convinced that the only thing that was wrong with my unit was a bad thermostat The damage to the circuit board, motor, contractor and transformer were the result of the technician causing a short when testing. The technician was very polite but didn't instill a lot of confidence calling back to the office many times to consult and spending around 12 hours to fix this issue seemed excessive. I believe I just spend $3,645.69 to replace my thermostat. After an email and several calls I finally talked to the Service Manager Brandon. He said he would review and get back to me. After another call he agreed to discuss it with the technician and call me back soon. It has been 10 days and I have heard nothing despite leaving messages on Brandon's line. read more

This company relies on AI and is not truly available 24/7. They sent a technician to my home who was unable to fix my issue, yet claimed it had been addressed. I called back immediately, and their AI bot booked me a new appointment that evening. The technician never showed. I called again over the course of the next two days, with no resolution. I received multiples text threads over the course of the two days stating that my concern had been escalated to the "on call manager," who never called. Today I spoke with the company and they said that there is no one in the office over the weekend! Despite my horrible experience, they refused to refund the cost of the "service." We recently had evergreen install a heat pump in our home. We got five quotes in the Seattle area. Of these, evergreen was by far the most thorough company in examining and making an estimate. They were the only company of the five to do a manual j load calculation, sized our windows, looked at each room, made measurements galore. The salesperson, Scott, was also pretty knowledgeable as a former tech and installer. While we initially did not move forward with them, a rebate from their preferred manufacturer, Mitsubishi, sweetened the deal enough to work with them. About a week and a half from signing the contract, their installation team came in. On paper they say it's a two day installation. While that is technically true, each day was a half day, taking no more than 4-5 hours each. One thing to note that's important is that our home has a low pitched roof. Like the top height is maybe 20 inches. So we don't really have an attic. So I was told that the refrigerant lines were going to go in through the ceiling and that they would have to put holes in the drywall to get this to work. Somehow miraculously and from their skill, Donnie and the install team were able to get the refrigerant lines installed without any issue and without any breaking into the drywall. My spouse and I were thoroughly impressed. The crew was otherwise pleasant, prompt, and professional throughout the entire installation. While they were not the lowest priced contractor, their service and level of professionalism made up for that financial difference. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They finished the install of our new Mitsubishi unit on 11/13/2024. On 12/6/2024, the unit stopped working and we haven't had heat since. It took 4 phone calls through the main office to get a repair guy out, who confirmed it was installed incorrectly and could be a faulty unit. He told us he would order the correct part on Saturday, 12/7 and that he would be back to install it on Monday, 12/9. It is now Thursday, 12/12 and there has been zero communication from the main office or repair. We've called again, only to speak with someone who said they cannot help us because they can't see our order in the system (??) and to call the main office back. We spent nearly $30k for a unit that worked for less than a month. I don't know what else to do, they keep giving us the runaround, and we still have no heat. We had not touched our heat exchange unit since 2017. Took a leap of faith with EHH&E based on what we'd heard. We were not disappointed. Our tech was Will, who called before he arrived, arrived *EARLY*, and was courteous and happy to explain exactly what he was doing. It just so happens this repair was scheduled right before "Heat Dome 2024" is supposed to hit Seattle. He was up on our roof for *hours* in the sunlight, very thorough, and followed up by explaining when we should call for a routine check up. Today he repaired leaks, so it took a while. My furnace had been acting up for a few years, blowing room temperature air instead of heat occasionally. Recently, it got worse. I scheduled another company to take a look at it. It behaved for the technician and he spent maybe a half hour servicing and cleaning the furnace. The next day, no heat at all, just more blowing room temperature air. I called Evergreen. They had a technician out the next day. He said everything was working well for him but that it looked like the furnace had not been properly serviced in years. He spent 4 hours thoroughly cleaning all the built up corrosion that other companies either just left there after saying they serviced it, or wanted to upcharge me to clean it. Evergreen was upfront, honest, and took care of the problem at a reasonable price. Since they came out, my furnace is operating top notch! read more

We had a 4-head heat pump Mitsubishi system installed by Evergreen. We chose them after multiple quotes because of their Diamond Dealer status (gives a 12-year parts warranty), the quote (not highest or lowest, but reasonable), and the pre-sales experience we had with John. Pre-Sales: A+ John was fantastic to talk to and very thorough evaluating the options we had for unit placement and lineset runs. He was able to suggest running the linesets over the roof, which allowed for the use of a single exterior unit instead of having to split the zones between two units. We had to wait several months to ensure that funds were in-place to pay for the installation and he seamlessly picked up where we had left off. A great experience. Installation: B- Our install team was punctual and friendly, and they did an excellent job with the indoor installation. There were a couple hiccups, however. They arrived promptly around 9am and started moving indoor units into place, drilling holes, and unpacking. I just happened to walk through one of the rooms in which they were working, and by complete chance saw one of the boxes that had not yet been thrown away. The units that were being installed were the wrong model-- an older obsolete unit (and not the unit on our contract). I let the installers know and they immediately stopped work and called back to the office for instructions, where they spoke to Ryan (whose title is Installation Manager). Ryan first tried to say that the units were "the same, just with different remotes"-- which is not true. When I refused to accept the older units, he said that they might have to reschedule up to two months later (from April to June), despite there already being 2-inch holes in my walls. (This sounded vaguely like a threat-- "accept these units or you'll be stuck until summer."-- where I would have expected an apology. The installers said "this happens all the time.") After some back and forth between Ryan and the installers, around 2 hours later the right units appeared and installation proceeded. For the outdoor part of the install, they did a great job hiding drain pipes next to my existing gutters and running a covered lineset up the wall. However, where the lineset went over the roof and around a balcony, they left it uncovered and wrapped only in UV fabric, which made my wife extremely unhappy with how unfinished it looked. We asked why the lineset cover didn't extend to those areas and didn't get a great answer other than it was "difficult". The installation works well and has not had any performance issues, and passed inspection. After-Sales: D I recontacted John (as the friendliest face of the company I had access to) afterwards to mention that my wife was pretty upset with the look of the final product. He forwarded my email... to Ryan. I never got a reply. When it came time for the maintenance appointment (6 months after installation), I took a half day off work to be home for the technician. No one ever showed up. I called the office the next day and they "forgot" to schedule someone (they did send someone the second try). Overall: C (3 stars) The system works and works well. We got what we paid for (but only because I was lucky enough to notice a part number on a box). The price was reasonable for Seattle (a competing quote was nearly 50% more, another quote wanted to use 4 separate outdoor units bolted to the walls). But every time we pull up the driveway, you can see ugly uncovered lines running up over the roof. -1 star not because of the wrong units (mistakes happen; I'm glad I caught this one) but because of Ryan's response-- no apology, trying to pressure me to take the wrong units or "installation might be delayed two months". -1 star for the complete failure to address the uncovered linesets (fixing it after the fact would have been completely fine if the installers weren't able to) and for not even receiving the courtesy of a reply from Ryan when my email was forwarded to him. If I had it to do over again, I would not have paid the second half of the invoice until I was happy with the work. I guess satisfaction is only guaranteed until you've paid in full. read more

Beware! Defective parts installed by Evergreen exploded when the air-conditioning unit was switched on. Compressor now does not work. Manager will not return calls. Evergreen Home Heating & Energy performed routine servicing for our air conditioning unit in September 2023 and installed an additional part in the air conditioning compressor unit claiming it would help the system work better. When warm weather showed up, switched to air conditioning, nothing happened - compressor would not even start. Had to call Evergreen, paid for service call. First found that an electrical pin was not plugged in which is why compressor would not work. Once plugged in, compressor worked fine but within a minute or so, the part that Evergreen installed blew up! Thankfully service technician's eyes not seriously hurt by debris. After explosion compressor will not work. I have called and left three messages over three days for the service manager Chris but have not received a response yet. Please be careful with this company. Don't know if they installed it wrong or they installed a defective part. Doesn't matter this is downright dangerous. read more

Recently, I noticed several issues with the intake and exhaust pipes. Several hanger straps attached to the wall are broken, and one of the joints on the water heater exhaust pipe is leaking water. I suspect this leak is caused by the imbalance due to the broken hanger straps. I expected a professional and reliable installation from Evergreen Home Heating and Energy, but these problems indicate a lack of attention to detail and quality. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Evergreen Home Heating and Energy. If you're considering them for your home needs, be cautious and perhaps look elsewhere. read more

Used Evergreen to install a new heat pump and furnace. Price was competitive against three other similar bids, and install went smoothly enough. I liked that they had banking partners with whom I could do an interest-free payment plan, but the process could be made a bit clearer by Evergreen. It was confusing, but worked out in the end. My one complaint about this install was with regard to the air filter cabinet, of all things. They replaced my entire system but for some reason assumed I wanted to keep my 12+ year old air filter and cabinet, instead of installing a new one as a part of an otherwise complete replacementAt my request, they came back to install a new air filter cabinet, but it doesn't really fit and they had to bend a bunch of the vent panels and use a ton of glue to make it work. Meanwhile, I have to literally break a new air filter nearly in half to put it into the cabinet as there isn't the right amount of space for the filter size required. It just seems like they should have had more forethought on a $25k project to make everything work together. Customer service was adequate throughout the process -- the folks who answer the phones appear to have some technical chops, so they can themselves be helpful to answer questions. That said, I felt like they were starting to get annoyed with me when I asked questions about the filter issue outlined above; as if I was being irrational. Anyway, overall a good company. I've probably had 5 different service folks show up over the past few years for maintenance and then this install. I would say 4 of the 5 were great and one was mediocre. Consistent with my overall rating of 4/5. I write this review because I feel like Evergreen could easily be a 5 star business I'd recommend to anyone with just a few process improvements. read more

We got several quotes in the Seattle area for upgrading a ducted gas furnace to a central heat pump, and Evergreen came in as the most competitive and the most thoughtful. They were the only company to actually run a Manual J for sizing the heat pump, and the only company that suggested the SM series (SM36NAM2) rather than the M-series hyperheat SUZKA36NAHZ. The SM series has a substantially better SEER/HSPF that also qualified it for the federal tax credit for which the M-series is not eligible. Upgrading from a gas furnace to the variable speed heat pump (using same ductwork) took a bit of an adjustment - registers don't blow "hot" 120 degree air at high speeds but "cooler" 95 degree at at lower speeds, so it took a little longer to heat up the room initially, however the system is MUCH quieter, we cannot tell when it is on, and the added benefit of low speed heating is that our closed floorplan second story of our house no longer has rooms run 5-10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house when the doors are closed- much more even heating distribution. Overall this was well worth the investment and glad to be free of gas and have the AC for the summer. Evergreen team was friendly and professional. Scott provided the quote and was very knowledgeable. They have electricians on their staff which we needed for the job as we did not have a plug left on our panel - they cleverly made room during the job. The team was in and out quickly and the job was scheduled days after the quote. Overall very satisfied with the experience. A word of caution - get ready for some sticker shock at the quotes for new heat pump installs. Like any remodeling/home improvement jobs in Seattle, take whatever the national average is and double it. Our quote was in the mid-20s and this was actually the lowest quote of several contractors. The work and equipment is expensive but IMO well worth it! read more

Updated Feb 2024 We initially had a good experience working with Evergreen to have heat/AC mini splits installed. The installation process was quick. They even sent their electrician back after we were all done (and paid) to help fix an issue with our car charger that was related to the install. however... Two years and one month later, our primary unit stopped working. We called Evergreen multiple times, until they sent out a technician--for which they charged us $219--to diagnose the issue. They then charged another whopping $3,455 in a follow up appointment to re-diagnose the exact issue and to refill the refrigerant. They let us know that "unfortunately" none of this work was covered by the warranty. They told us that we needed to subscribe to their maintenance club if we didn't want to keep dealing with this sort of issue. For a system that cost us $27,496 just two years ago, paying another $3,674 (thirteen percent of the total original cost) for repairs is rough. Maybe this is why Lemon Law exists for automobiles. I only wish we had the same for home heating solutions. Please keep our story in mind when you're shopping for mini-splits. read more

I went with Evergreen to install a new heat pump because they had great reviews and the person who came out to give me an estimate was the most thoughtful and conscientious and seemed to be paying attention to all the details of my system, answered all my questions patiently, and revised his plan several times based on my concerns. The installation team was great and conscientious. However, once they had my money, the follow-up has been disastrous. I called a few months after installation because my heating bill was higher than expected, and they said they would call me back to try to figure out what was wrong, but no one called me back. I called them every couple weeks for about four months before I could get anyone to return my calls. They finally sent someone out to look at my system. He said he had made a comprehensive analysis of the system and thought he could get it working much better, and said he would send me his report in a few days. He never did. I followed up multiple times and never received this report. Then, less than three years after installation, my heat pump stopped working. Someone from Evergreen came out to look at it and told me there was a leak in the system and the junction box had failed and needed to be replaced, and the repairs would cost over $5000, only a few hundred of which was covered under my warranty. I asked why it had failed so badly after less than three years, if this was normal, and why so little was covered under warranty. They said they would call me back with the answers to my questions, but it took three weeks of me calling them every few days before they would return my phone calls. Finally they said they would cover it under warranty after all. They had to order a part, so it was three weeks until they could come out to fix it. When they arrived, they said that because another heating company had moved part of the system (not the part of the system where there was a leak), my warranty was void and they couldn't cover it after all. This was very frustrating because I had told them from the beginning that I was planning a house remodel that would involve moving part of the system, and they planned the system around this, and at no point did they tell me that my warranty would be void if I hired a different company to move it. I got a second opinion from another heating company, Energy Works, who told me that there was nothing wrong with the junction box, and gave me a much lower estimate to fix the leak. I'm disappointed to write this review. If I were only reviewing the installation team (Gaeb and Don) and the final product (a smoothly working ductless A/C system), then this would be a five-star review. However, as other reviewers here note, the customer service is very poor, and there were failures at multiple points in the process: 1. Scott, who did the initial visit and quote, got several things wrong about how the installation was going to need to go. Most importantly, he did *not* warn us that the electrician would need to cut through dry wall and that Evergreen does not repair the damages it does (although the other members of installation team did patch up their work). 2. The electrician needed us to choose between (a) having exposed wiring in the house or (b) cutting into drywall. We were given very little notice to make this decision and did not have time to think through the consequences and costs of this choice (since it was not easy to get him to the site). We chose (b), for which the estimated repairs are $900. 3. Evergreen does not take responsibility for that damage nor has any way to help customers get the repair. These are hidden costs that Scott should have told us about. When I spoke to the residential manager, Ryan, he was completely unhelpful. He merely repeated that this was common (so why don't they have a solution?) and it's in the contract (which it is as a half-line item buried in the text). I then complained again to Ryan's admin assistant, who passed me on to the general manager, Jamey. Jamey worked a little harder than Ryan to resolve the problem, but the solution still involved passing on the costs to us. To summarize: the installation team (except the electrician) is great, the sales and management team offer unsatisfying customer service. I strongly recommend you work with a company that offers better customer service and won't leave you with $900 worth of repairs at the end of the job. read more

When you replace something as critical as you HVAC system, you expect it to go smoothly and that you'll have minimal issues for the next 10 years with regular annual checks, right? That has not been the case for us. We've had an interesting time working with Evergreen over these last 2 years. The salesman, John, was wonderful, but it's been downhill from there. Two years ago, we upgraded our furnace to a mid-efficiency Trane smart thermostat system and added a/c. Pretty nice system, with a bill of closer to $20k. However, ever since the install, we've had multiple problems. 1) the install was a mess. They let us sit a month between dividing the heat to getting the a/c in, just waiting for them to come back to the finish the job. We understood it was winter and they were busy, but that's a really long time to leave a job unfinished. 2) When we came back into town, there was an interior gas leak, because apparently they didn't replace our old gas plenum setup to fit the new machine but tried to re-use the old one (original to the house), and a seam ripped. The house wreaked of gas and could've blown up if we hadn't caught it in time. They patched it, but said it wasn't their fault and that replacing the inlet was not part of the install?! 3) Next time, the a/c was out, on the hottest day of the year. They said it was a faulty part known for breaking sometimes right out of the box, and they'd fix it, but again, not their fault. 4) Today, there were various codes on the smart thermostat and the heat was out. The tech told us it must be the old wiring they also re-used to connect the thermostat because they didn't want to pay for the electrician to come back. They'd be happy to charge us to replace their install work though. All this for $20k. I wish we had gone with literally anyone else. We had Evergreen install our furnace five years ago and we are really happy with them. This summer (2023) we decided to put in a heat pump for added air conditioning. We got several bids but went with Evergreen because we had been happy with them in the past and their bid was quite a bit lower than the others. They were amazing! The crew was super respectful of our property, stuck to their schedule, we're prompt and courteous, and did a fabulous job of installing. We were worried about the inspection because we heard that some times with heat pumps you don't pass on the first time. When we called the city to schedule she asked who put it in. When we said Evergreen, she said, "Great! You will not have a problem." When the inspector saw the Evergreen sticker on the unit, she said, "This is terrific, I never have issues with Evergreen." we were already happy with them, but the unsolicited inspector's comments really confirmed our thoughts. Evergreen came to service our two mini split Mitsubishi air conditioners. They cleaned them (supposedly) and we paid a little under $800. Less than 30 days later, our air conditioner was leaking again. When I called, the woman I spoke with wanted me to understand that if the problem wasn't from them, we would have to pay for an additional service charge. I tried to explain that it was a brand new air conditioner, but she again had to tell me that I would be paying if the leak wasn't from them. A second guy came out and cleaned the unit again (supposedly). Their work is only warranteed for 30 days. About 35 days after the second "cleaning," the unit started leaking again. We had a different company come out today and the technician showed me how dirty the unit was. I was disgusted. They didn't clean anything and charged us a little under $800. Seriously, the unit was filthy and the technician today assured me that there was no way that it was cleaned just a couple months ago. Beware and do not use this company!!!! read more

My wife and I have used this company for 4 years, as they were the original installer of the system (that was in place when we bought the house). Their prices seemed high but if hte quality is good I was willing to pay. We've had an issue of some kind every year despite annual maintenance and a number of repairs. The last issue we had was the final straw, $2400 charged for a "diagnostic" that revealed nothing as well as recharging the AC with refrigerant. They suspect a leak but want to charge us another $2400+ to find & repair it (assuming there even is a leak). The receipt we were provided had no cost breakout whatsoever. So $2400 poorer, all we got was refrigerant added to the unit. If this seems like fair & honest pricing to you, by all means choose this company. read more

The technician outside argued that he needed a closer parking spot, and right there I found him the perfect spot just across the street. He parked, stayed in the van for a while, and then without notice just LEFT! He then called saying it had taken too long and that they would not service my property. No heads-up, no apologies, no nothing. Stay away and instead work with a professional company that values your time and business. Now I'm stuck in the peak of summer with no other company to help me out as they are fully booked. This is a terrible experience and big disappointment. I recently had a new heat pump system installed by Evergreen and am very please with how everything came out. It is a split setup with a new heat pump, then also an air handler and two mini splits on our second floor. We initially spoke to Scott, who was very easy to work with and informative. I had Evergreen installed 4 zones ductless for me. First, the person who came in for a quoting process was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to explain to me where and how they can install the system and where it could/should go. Their quote was a bit higher than the other company but they were able to match it. They were also very good and accommodating about me signing the contract. They weren't pushy at all and was very patient. On the installation days, they were right on-time on both days. The installers was professional and cleaned up after themselves very nicely. He was also very accommodating with my suggestion to cover the piping in the garage with the tubing to make it looks cleaner. For inspection, I wasn't there for electrical one (which passed). And mechanical inspector from the city mentioned that it was a good installation work and she recognized "Evergreen signature." The fridge line inspector didn't show up per appointment. I will update this review if there's anything missing, but it looks great so far. read more

They did a great job of giving an price estimate for our converting our heating system from oil to an electric heat and cooling pump and also sticking to the cost they quoted. I did some research and it seems like most of the heating companies are quoting prices within the same price range. So then I started asking around to friendsm family and neighbors and people only had good things to say about Evergreen, so I went with them. Installed a new heat pump on Feb 1 - stopped working around Feb 10. Their crew came and fixed it. Broke down again a week later and as it's the weekend they want to charge $250 just for diagnostics. Our 17 year old furnace went out and had to be replaced. Although, as we all are aware, we are experiencing many distribution challenges in obtaining product, Evergreen was extremely responsive. Their technical representative, John, came by and offered extremely knowledgeable and insightful information and options for us to review. Once our choice was made, even their administrators promptly contacted us and attended to all necessary paperwork and scheduling. On the morning of the installation, the installation experts, James and Rob, arrived right on time. These installers were very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. Although our furnace is located in a crawl space and I was concerned it would be a difficult change over, neither installer indicated the slightest issue. In fact, they were able to almost exactly predict how long they would be. As I expected after witnessing the professionalism of everyone I interacted with Evergreen, upon the completion of the installation, I was given a thorough explanation of the furnace operation and the work area was left cleaner than they found it. I honestly can't say enough good things about this company. I had a DIFFERENT company service AC this year and all they cared about was trying to sell me a new unit. I called Evergreen for a second opinion and they came out fast, on time and was able to fix the problem without installing a new unit at all-- mind you, my unit is from 1988. They are super friendly and knowledgeable. I also used Evergreen for heating service back in December. The technicians worked on my unit multiple times to fix the issue and one technician even came to my house late at night while his sicks weren't feeling well to make sure I had proper heating around Christmas time. I would really recommend this company to anyone! In an era where I feel like many companies just want to scam you into the most expensive option, Evergreen actually takes the time to solve the problem without trying to bankrupt you! Poor customer service - strongly recommend taking a look at other reviews and manager responses before moving forward: We had a bad experience with Evergreen Home Heating and Energy and do not recommend using them. We had them come out to service our furnace in mid-April 2021 and signed up for their Evergreen Home Comfort Club (a discount to pay for two servicings up front). The service technician was nice enough, although did try to upsell us on a couple of things. Profit seems to be the company's number one motive. At the time of the service the weather had been very warm in Seattle and remained that way for another week or so. When the weather finally cooled, we realized that the furnace was no longer working. We called and asked them to come take a look since the furnace had been working fine prior to the servicing. Evergreen told us they'd be happy to come back and take a look, at the discounted rate of $99. They said if they determined that they were the cause of the furnace no longer working they'd waive the charge. This seemed like a gamble to me, so I asked to speak with a manager, since it seemed pretty darn likely that the service visit was the cause of the furnace's issues. The manager confirmed that we'd have to commit to paying the $99 for the visit, unless the company determined it was their fault. At that point, it seemed clear that Evergreen doesn't stand by its work. To their credit, they are going to refund us the difference between the two year price for Evergreen Home Comfort Club and the single visit price, although it is much more expensive to pay for a single visit. And, we did get the furnace issue sorted out - turns out the technician turned off the gas line in the furnace and didn't switch it back on - so it was 100% their fault. So if you're looking for an HVAC company, I would look elsewhere because Evergreen seems to focus on profits more than their quality of service. read more

We got 3 bids before choosing Evergreen to install a ducted heat pump for the house and a mini-split for our upstairs bedroom, and we could not be more satisfied, from initial estimate through final installation. We were very impressed with the detail and heat analysis provided in the initial estimate. Communications were very clear and responsive throughout. Installation team was professional, on schedule and on-time. We are extremely satisfied, and I don't know how this project could have been better managed. read more

Evergreen installed a new 3-zone ductless mini split system for me, and I was very pleased with the work they did. I received estimates from 4 different companies, and was immediately impressed with the estimator I worked with, John. He was the only one who did a proper heat load calculation, was very knowledgable about the Mitsubishi products they sold, provided me with useful information from the US Dept. of Energy, and went into extreme detail about many topics that I found helpful. Evergreen initially came through with the best offer, and they were happy to negotiate costs down even further. Jamie was also very prompt in directing my questions and handling the initial estimation scheduling via phone and e-mail. Ryan, the installation manager, was also helpful. Elliott, Ricky, and Justin came by to do the install over the course of two days. They were very professional and patiently answered any questions I had. Justin (the electrician) was also able to handle a special request I had while doing the electrical work. After the install was complete, I did a test run of the system and I've been pleased with the results. I'd gladly work with Evergreen again. read more
