Go Movers was able to swiftly support our packing and loading of a total of 10 u haul u boxes (a five bedroom house) for two separate destinations. Their staff and management were very accessible and communicative, hard working, friendly and determined to succeed. A total change from the jaded movers with attitudes we have encountered in several cross country and local moves; these guys are young and energetic and enterprising. The only glitch was that they underestimated the time to pack, perhaps because they take a lot of care, and hence we were a little jammed at the end. Their packing skills are sub par at best. They do not pack efficiently so they use an abundance of boxes and then the boxes collapse and ruin your things. Also, they didn't tape the bottom of some of the boxes but only folded them which caused issues. In addition, they didn't label the boxes, as requested, so we didn't even know what room they came from. I can't believe we paid them over $2,300 to pack our 3 bedroom town home and we had already packed some of it ourselves. I would not recommend them to ANYONE!! read more

I had such a positive experience with them last year, booked through UHaul, that I made the mistake of taking their business card to book directly this time around because the movers said it would allow them to keep a higher percentage of their earnings. The movers took about 40 minutes to unload my UBox, and arrived at the time we agreed upon. Total 180 this time around. The evening before my move date, I was texted to request a different date despite booking weeks in advance but my move was inflexible due to my lease ending. I was told originally there was an emergency, but was told during the move that there was a cancellation and a truck issue, so it felt more like they overbooked. Despite the red flag, I stuck with this company - that charges $189 for the $118 UHaul truck plus gas/mileage, where other companies quoted me $125-150 - because of my easy experience last year. After some back and forth, I was told I'd be contacted the morning of my move, scheduled for 11a-12p with details, but I did not hear from them until I texted at 10:40 am. Then, I was told it would be about 2-3 hours, and heard nothing until I checked in again at 3. Then I was told they were just getting the truck at 4:12, but the movers didn't arrive until 6:10 or so and, with one just dolley, it took double the anticipated time and, thus, nearly doubled the cost originally quoted. Moving my studio apartment (no bed frame, no shelving, no statue of David) 30 minutes, from one town to another, this go around cost me $992 booking direct, where I paid $2200 total last year through UHaul to move across the country - literally coast to coast. We used the service of Go movers for a move through Uhaul. It was very disappointing experience overall. The staff came about 3 hours late, none of the boxes had furniture padding, and the movers kept blaming Uhaul for everything. We ourselves drove to Uhaul and got the padding for them but they had loaded most of the stuff in the containers by then and refused to use the padding. We had discussed with Go Movers before the pickup date and it was confirmed by them that the furniture will be disassembled by them as needed for loading . The staff who came, denied to disassemble any furniture. They mentioned that they did not bring any tools and they were not aware that they have to do any disassembling. We showed them our earlier conversation with the business owner over chat where he had confirmed that disassemble of furniture, if needed, will be done by them.They still denied to do that. We were leaving the apartment the next day and had no time for the argument. The main number who we had coordinated while booking and prior discussions was not reachable when we tried to call. We had to rush and arrange for a handyman to get the work done, even after paying Go movers for the service . The moving staff did not help at all in the disassemble part. They just loaded the packed and ready material provided to them to the containers and in the entire process they showed their dissatisfaction through out. It was as if they were doing a favour rather than providing a service for which they were paid. Our furniture suffered damage as no padding was used while loading . The loading was done in a careless manner. Three containers were not loaded properly , so while one of them had lot of space empty , the other 2 were just forcefully loaded with things stacked one over another , which damaged our goods. Heavier stuff was put over lighter or fragile goods. I would not use go movers service ever. The staff who came for this work was not only inefficient in the work they did, their behaviour was completely unacceptable and rude. The person who we talked over phone earlier was very polite but unfortunately the staff who actually did the work did not meet expectation at all. read more

They called ahead to let us know they were able to come early & it worked out perfectly!! In just under 2 hours they help move & unpack & assemble our main furniture in our 2 bedroom condo. I'm 99% sure all 5 star reviews are paid for by this company. We had a move scheduled with them through UHaul. They were supposed to pick up a Ubox, deliver it to us, and load our stuff in it. and they just never showed up. They said they had other moves to do. Guess my move doesn't matter! They never communicated with us that they were not showing up. They said they were not going to wait more than 30 minutes to get our Ubox at UHaul. They were blaming everything on UHaul. Which is totally ridiculous, I'm not sure they even went there. After the fact, they sent an unprofessional text saying that they had rescheduled the move for two days later, without confirming we were available then. We tried calling them several times and they never picked up. Plus it said the phone number's mailbox was full??? Sounds like a scam to me. Do not book a move with these people! They are not trustworthy, not responsive and completely unprofessional. Literally go with anyone else to book your move. read more
