You could sit with friends, chit-chat over some of their tasty pastries or your favorite coffee. They have a wide selection of teas if you're a tea lover like me. And if coffee is your thing, you will not be disappointed. On days when the weather is beautiful, you can sit outside at one of the many tables that line the sidewalk. It gives Parisian vibes.

The vibes are totally cool and laid back with board games to play with in the side room. Cool local art is usually on the walls that is for purchase and even more awesome is the murals across the street to view while eating on the pasto area outside or walk across and pose with them like we like to do! It stays pretty busy but the coffees come out fast so no complaints about the service. My mom and daughter are obsessed with the coffee cake and be careful cause often they run out or if you're too early they aren't ready yet to be served! But I personally love the peanut butter bars!

Personally, I'm a Dutch Bros girl, so I was definitely a little skeptical when I saw they had "power" drinks. But I took a chance and got the Beach Dream, and WOW--it was so good! Especially on a hot day when you're already melting outside, this was exactly what I needed. I was genuinely sad when the drink was gone. One thing I didn't realize about this location is that it seems to be a popular spot for college students and people working on their laptops. There's tons of seating, and it seems like it would be a great place to meet up or get some work done, but most of the seats were full when I went. I was there on a Saturday, though, so I'm sure I caught it at peak time. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying another flavor!

The menu was incredibly varied and staff was kind of enough to go through and make recommendations. The space is really spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee shop feels like a beach house that was turned into a cafe (at least downstairs) and I absolutely loved the vibe!!! There's garden area with plenty of seating, and if you head toward the back you can even take the stairs up to a second floor seating area in the back house. The vibey was so cozy and beachy!! I had heard they take their matcha seriously so I ordered the strawberry matcha. It was amazing and definitely lived up to the hype. We got there around 10 am and it was pretty quiet, but after about 30-40 minutes people started steadily coming in and it got surprisingly busy. I loved loved loved this place and will definitely be back :)

I did request for their Matcha latte with 2 shots of espresso since I was suffering from a caffeine headache-3 days of little to no caffeine lol thats on me. Its authentic in presentation and nondescript in terms of, if you're looking fir a Starbucks ambiance, this is not it. If want truer to Galveston and raw, come sit a while.

It felt kind of cluttered. I expect they must have a patio setup on nicer days, but on this day all that equipment was taking up all the space right inside the front entrance. I'm not much on sweets. I can be talked into an interesting cookie, but this was not the place I expected and I don't think they sold cookies or interesting milk flavors from what I could tell. They do sell sketchy looking hot dogs and pizza. I'm not sure who orders that. It seems like they specialize in ice cream. I tried one flavor and it was pretty sweet for me. I'm not much on sweets so that's not hard to do for me. I stood around letting my wife pick her flavor. I would have waited outside given how cramped the space felt, but it was pouring rain. My wife mentioned the place has artwork and stuff. I didn't see that and didn't know to expect it. I also heard there is a wine bar somewhere on the premise. I may have to come back and give that a try.

Not to worry, from the merch to the pastry case, to the products from local artisans, there's plenty to discover while you wait. I personally visited the morning of the 5th of July, after all of the fourth of July dwellers sobered up and stopped in for some caffeine to fuel the drive home. That being said, I waited quite a while to order, which gave me time to explore the menu...well kind of. Their menu lives on a wall and can be difficult to read from a distance. Additionally, their specials are handwritten at the til. While I'd love a digital copy of their menu for instances like these, I did just fine after exploring various Yelp menu photos. I ended up with a Sabrina on ice, avocado toast, fruity pebbles rice krispy and chocolate chunk cookie. Fair warning, everything in the pastry case looks fresh and homemade, so prepare to treat yourself. Shoutout for their emphasis on vegan and gluten-free offerings. Visually the avocado toast had me worried, but everything bagel seasoning has a way of curing all wrongs, if those "wrongs" in question are bland food. I found myself happily gobbling it down after a few initially hesitant bites. The rice krispy was fine, and I'm looking forward to warming the cookie and reporting back. While I'll go for a more traditional coffee next time, I'll certainly be back. I'm hoping for a smile, greeting, or positive energy from the staff next go around. Fingers crossed.
