This is my ultimate favorite breakfast hidden gem. My wife and I are very extra cautious of the places we go, especially since we're out of town. We're always skeptical about the places we visit due to safety. We learned about this little place from a waiter at the Bombay Beach Club and decided to try it since he told us it was across the police station.
Everytime we visit this place the staff is very welcoming and serve us promptly. We usually order chilaquiles with eggs that comes with a side of beans and hash brown. We order fresh squeezed orange juice and/or coffee. Their food is very authentic, which is why we love it!! The prices are amazingly affordable. We usually pay between $8-$10 for two people, plus tip (because they're just amazing at what they do).
I do have to say that because their restaurant is so small, they only have a few tables plus bar chairs, which is nice because you can see them cook right infront of you. They prepare food very fast, so just give it a few minutes to get a table or chairs at the breakfast bar, it's worth it!!!!
Another note about the parking: it's very limited, but again, give it a few minutes and you'll find parking.
Lastly, talking to a few locals, they have reaffirmed how good this place is and its affordability. If locals go to this place a lot, you know it's a damn good place to go as well. read more
