Gochas did not disappoint. It's located right in a shopping plaza so it is plenty of parking out front. We arrived at 9a when they opened. This is one of those spots that fill up quickly so I suggest if you can to get there when they open up to do so. The customer service is top-tier. Everyone that worked their that we passed by, spoke to us. Our server Jeranise, and Rod were great. They got our food out to us quickly. They made sure we were doing good through the whole time we were their. The food is very good. I tried the trio and my friend tried the chicken and waffle. We were in an out in 1 hour. read more

We arrived and were seated around 10:30 on a Sunday, and ordered food at 10:45. Ordered a mimosa at 11:00, when they started serving alcohol. We started noticing around 11:15 that people who arrived shortly after us were getting their food before us. By 11:30, we noticed that our waitress hadn't been by to check on us since bringing back the mimosa. We told the hostess who said she would talk to the manager. At 11:45, we asked to speak to the manager again. It's now been an hour since we've ordered. He came by and said the oven caught on fire, so they had to pause all orders and ours should be out shortly. The waitress then came by to take our additional drink orders, and our food finally came out at 12:00pm. Over an hour and a half wait. Why couldn't someone have come by before that point to let us know? We had no problem waiting, but it's unacceptable to have customers wait without anyway communication behind the delay. Also unacceptable that waitress took an hour to check up on us. She told us later that she was picking up someone else's table instead, so I understand it wasn't part of her usual area. But some processes need to be improved. We also weren't offered any apologies or compensation for our experience; the manager didn't really seem to care. The food was excellent besides my hash browns being a little burnt. No complaints there. read more

Ok I've been excited to try this neighborhood spot so I was game when my friend invited me to breakfast. There's ample parking since it's in a shopping plaza. We got there pretty early on a Friday and beat the rush. There was definitely a line outside as we were leaving. There are bar and table seating options. I can definitely say the restaurant lived up to the hype. The food was delicious and the drinks were very good. Our server was attentive and helped me in solidifying my selection since it was my first time. I kept looking at neighboring diners plates for things I want to try on my next visit. The husbae decided to have a breakfast date, since we both had busy weekends. The mister had never been to Gocha's, and it been a pretty long time since I'd been. We chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful day. We were greeted with smiles and seated immediately. Jae was our server, and greeted us with a smile, introduced herself, asked if we dined at Gocha's before, and took our drink orders. She gave us time to review QR code menu before taking our orders. I chose the buffalo salmon bites and a single buttermilk pancakes. The husbae ordered the meat-lovers omelette and a buttermilk pancakes. The omelette came with a choice of grits or potatoes, and a biscuit. The salmon bites were delicious but I did expect to get more than 4 bites for 12 bucks. The pancake was good with crispy edges like I like them. The mister enjoyed his omelette and pancake but side the biscuit was dry, and tasted like it had been sitting. Overall very good food and great service provided by Jae. I would definitely recommend and plan on returning. They have a very extensive menu and I'd love to try other menu items. read more

My son and I went to this restaurant yesterday morning. We had a super busy day so I didnt get a chance to post my review yesterday. I've traveled and dined at restaurants all over this country and even abroad, and despite the amazing dining experiences I've had, I seldom leave reviews. However, my experience here was very appreciated. It's graduation season so the restaurant was busy. I let our waitress, Tabitha, know that we were time-constrained. Her and the manager, whom I didn't get his name, tagged team my table to ensure the service provided was not only efficient, but great. Not to mention, the food was awesome and the atmosphere was welcoming. There are not too many places that provide this quality level of food, but still make me feel like I'm at home with family. The process for eating here is so weird and I wouldn't recommend it. The food is good but I'd say order to-go. Firstly, they are not nice, when you walk up, and there is no one "guarding the door" lol, you would think to walk into the establishment, like a regular restaurant.. Well.. wrong.. and they will be rude to you for not knowing too, as they wrangle you and your party, fussing and rolling eyes.. You must wait outside, and talk to the person outside, who explains little to nothing to you, is not friendly, very short, and everyone around you is typically just as confused. Inside is super tight.. size wise. The open kitchen is ok. Timing isn't the best, service isn't the best. It's just not a comfortable experience. read more

We stopped at Gochas Breakfast Bar for brunch and I must say it was a great call! Our waiter was Darrius, he was training Sierra and they both did a great job! We ordered impossible empanadas, and mimosas, French toast, salmon croquettes, jalapeño grits, butter grits, steak and eggs and a fall shrimp salad. The food was amazing and service came with a smile! The only thing that could be improved on was the appetizer plates, some of them had chips on the end. I had dinner here for the first time on my 25th Birthday August 21st. My experience was absolutely amazing! I ordered the jalapeno frittata bites, fried green tomatoes, impossible slider burgers, and jalapeno cheese grits. All of these dishes tasted amazing and were all perfectly prepared too. Plus to add, those Fried Green Tomatoes really did exceed my expectations and were a lot bigger than I expected. They tasted perfectly seasoned and extra crispy as well! So yeah, I give this place a 10 out of 10. Great customer service, very polite waiters, great staff, and excellent Food Service too. I will definitely be coming here again ! read more

10/10 ! I absolutely loved this place. It came highly recommended and I was so happy to see I could join the waitlist here on Yelp! When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice hostess who got us seated quickly. Our server was awesome and gave great recommendations. I started with her suggestion of a $5 mimosa. It was New Year's Day and I was HUNGRY. Never have I ever ordered an appetizer at a breakfast place but the plates that were coming out of the kitchen looked way too good to pass up. I got the Trio, which has French toast, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits and a biscuit. This was definitely a mistake! I was full after splitting just the toast and waffles. But everything was great. I enjoyed the flavors in the shrimp and grits (I typically despise grits). Our meals arrived not long after. I got the South Fulton Steak & Eggs and loved every bit of it. The steak was cooked perfectly! My bf got the Hash Brown bowl and the hash brows were so crispy! Waffle House quality. I will go out of my way to return on my next trip to Atlanta! read more

Oh. My. God. My husband and I make a point to find a local breakfast place on every trip. Gochas was recommend to us by our AirBnb host so we decided to give it a try on our way home. WOW! The restaraunt itself is so stylish and clean yet laid back. We had to wait about an hour for a table to become available but we were (correctly) assured that the wait was well worth it. As soon as you walk in you're hit with the smell of something delicious. The tables are close together and it's pretty loud in there because of the small size of the restaurant but it is such a nice atmosphere; everyone seemed to know each other and welcomed us like we were good friends! The food was AMAZING! My husband got the meat lover's omelet with potatoes and a biscuit, and I got the chocolate chip pancakes with chicken sausage. Y'all, if you only like bland food this is NOT the place for you. The omelet, potatoes, and sausage were next level and seasoned to perfection. The pancakes were crispy on the edges and pillow soft in the middle. The biscuits changed our life. Even the sweet tea was perfect! Meet the Business Owner: Gocha H.

Gocha Hawkins is the owner of this business and was inspired to open Gocha's Breakfast bar due to the lack of breakfast restaurants in her community where she has resided since July 2014 along with the issues of not having many options to support her eating life style. Gocha is a pescetarian and says she rarely find breakfast restaurants that caters to her life style. Gocha has always loved to cook and actually wanted to open a dinner restaurant back in 2005 but the market crashed so here we are 13 years later Gocha's Breakfast Bar opened its doors.

My husband and I visited Gocha's because of the advertisement on Fox 5 news. The camera man made it appear as if this was the place to go if you wanted good brunch food. However, he failed to mention the customer service and staff.Good food means nothing when you've waited 20 minutes to be seated 15 minutes for water,25 minutes for juice and another 20 minutes for food. I wanted to leave,but we had driven so far and I was terribly hungry.Yes, they took our temperature before entering, and the faces of staff were covered, and it was clean. But the bar was crowed shoulder to should, and no one wore a mask. The place got so packed it was hard to social distance due to COVID-19. Not to mention the restaurant was tiny as an L-shaped matchbox. I waited 25 minutes just for orange juice that was warm, and a barely warm biscuit. I was so stressed out by waiting and the crowed until I needed a shot of vodka to put into my juice. The owner apologized and stated they were understaffed, but the experience was so disappointing. We drove 35 plus miles through traffic from the far end of North Atlanta to feel as if I was in a night club at 10 am in the hood. Plus, our bill was $72.00 for shrimp & grits w/ 1 piece of fish, 3 biscuits, orange juice w/ 1 shot vodka. My husband had bacon, eggs,1 waffle w/ potatoes & water. The motive was to support an African American woman's business. But, the server did not know the menu, there were 10 plus people in a crowed kitchen & only 2 working the floor. My husband has been in food management for a luxury brand industry for 30 years and was simply stunned by the service. Yes, the food was good, but that means nothing when it's overpriced, and you have untrained staff representing your brand. I will never go back there again and would never recommend this place to anyone. My husband didn't get upset over the bill because he said he would never return or recommend this establishment; not even to his clients looking for places in Atlanta to dine or executive co-workers.The concept is good, but this place still has much to learn about service and overpriced food. I left with my heart simply broken and overwhelmed with shame for the owner. All of the enclosed should be strongly considered before opening another location. So, I give 1 star for the food and the other for the owner because I felt her heart was in the right place. However, the business needs real structure and in house training, the night club music at 10 am needs to be reserve for a the night club setting,a real chef and a more reasonably priced menu. Hungry for flavor but patient enough to wait for it? This is your spot. This was my first time coming here and I didn't read the fine print. Definitely make sure your entire party arrives before trying to enter. We came on Tuesday around 115 to the Cascade location and it really wasn't a bad wait. Maybe 10-15 min. Once you enter through the doors though, you find love and happiness! The setting: The first thing I noticed was there was no salt/pepper/condiments on the table! This can only mean the food is about to be 2 good!! Or one can hope lol Next up: black excellence. Boyz II Men playing in the background (not too loud that you can't hear your party but enough that the table next to you can't hear you sing off key!) Martin on the television (though i doubt this is a daily thing but I think it's set to BET) and seemingly upbeat ppl all around. The server wasn't pushy but she was steady. She checked in, she advised, she laughed with us, she was very personable. We ordered the fried green tomatoes & avocado toast for appetizers. These green tomatoes were so amazing. Seasoned to perfection; like I want the recipe. We devoured those. The avocado toast was topped with onions and tomatoes. I wasn't a fan of the onions but I still was super pleased. My cousins said I was crazy and the onions made the dish lol. I'd get both of these again. Come on over to the entrees! It really took me forever to decide because the options were endless. After being reminded I could come back lol, I was finally able to decide on my dishes. The grit bowl. Mm mm mm. I almost have no words bc I'm salivating just thinking about it . I got mine with eggs, cheese, chicken sausage, and jalapeño fried onions. The flavor here was impressive. I would get this again and again and again. It's rare you go places and the grits are seasoned to everyone's liking but everybody at the table was happy! (Everyone got grits) The pancake. It was pretty big! Big and deliiiiicious. I requested a pancake with pecans and sugar. Legit tasted like a pecan praline pancake. I did not need any syrup. This can easily become my go to pancake. Today, my wife and I visited Gochas Breakfast Bar to celebrate a close friend's birthday. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the level of professionalism or service we expected. Our group of eight arrived early for our 1:00 PM reservation. Two members of the party were parking their vehicle, and the host advised that the entire group needed to be present before we could be seated. Once everyone arrived, we informed the host that the group was now complete. However, at this point, we were told that our table was not yet available as the prior party occupying it had not finished dining. We waited patiently but, by 1:10 PM, were still not seated. When we inquired again, we were told to continue waiting because the table was still occupied. We also explained that two elderly members of our group were with us and standing outside in the cold was not ideal. Despite this, the staff could not offer an alternative solution or seating arrangement. At this point, with no clear resolution in sight, we decided it was best to leave. However, the hostess informed us that we would be charged an $80 cancellation fee, despite the delay being due to the restaurant's inability to honor the reservation at the scheduled time. When we attempted to explain our concerns, the conversation escalated, and the staff's tone became unprofessional and dismissive. As someone who has frequented restaurants worldwide, I found this experience deeply disappointing. A reservation implies a commitment from both the customer and the restaurant to uphold their agreement. In this instance, the lack of preparation, accountability, and customer care was disheartening. I hope Gochas takes this feedback constructively and works on improving its reservation process, communication, and overall guest experience. Respecting the time and comfort of patrons is fundamental to good service, and I trust the management will address these shortcomings to avoid similar issues in the future. I'm so torn. I visited the Fayetteville location on Friday, and they completely blew me away with their exceptional service and delicious food. Imagine my excitement when I discovered there was a location even closer to me! Naturally, I brought my family back, eager to share the experience. However, when we arrived, we found the location closed due to expansion. They directed us to their other location on Campbellton Road or their food truck in the parking lot. Since we were hungry, we opted for the food truck. My husband ordered the fish and grits based on my glowing review from Friday, and thankfully, it did not disappoint. I decided to get a side waffle because my son was getting the 6-piece chicken finger plate. My plan was to take one of his chicken fingers to pair with my waffle, but when his plate arrived, it was so sparse that I didn't have the heart to take one. I honestly thought they gave me the kids meal by mistake. He generously gave me one, but it was not only small, it also lacked tenderness. The honey mustard sauce, however, was fantastic--they definitely have their sauces perfected! What left me feeling disappointed was later noticing a takeout service fee on my receipt. $6. It's a food truck, so the fee felt unnecessary, especially since I had already tipped. This didn't feel like customer-centric service, and it left me feeling a bit unappreciated. Will I go back? Yes, because the food is undeniably good. And hopefully I will have a better experience and update this review. Will I visit their food truck again if I'm out and about? Absolutely not. Let me tell yall!!!! This is not regular food.... This food will make you feel like singing. It changed my accent and had me dancing like a baby. It deserves a whole LIVE discussion The pecan pancakes were made with pride and attention to detail. The edges had a nice crisp and the pecans was candied to the right level of sweetness. The pancake itself maintained a pecan flavor throughtout. The fried green tomatoe was not shown above because it did not last. Lol! The tomatoes retained it's form and texture with a nice crunchy fried outer layer. You get two textures with a juicy delicious center. It was neither bland nor mushy. I think you get the picture about the food! Let talk about the cocktail! The muddled sweet strawberry was the truth. We normally say " Where is the alcohol?". It definitely was present but the flavor gave the reason you ordered a cocktail in the first place. If this did not grab your attention then the service will take you out. William started the experience from the door! He engaged us in conversation while remembering tidbits about ourselves to keep us laughing. The wait in itself was enjoyable because of him. His energy did not scream I need coffee this early but instead made us feel significant and welcomed. Our server Shanice greeted us with a smile that did not fail nor fade. She showed she cared more about us enjoying our food than us purchasing the food. Because of her attentiveness and knowledge we had the best experience possible. Stopped at Gocha's Breakfast Bar for the first time on our way home from Atlanta Airport Hotel and it was great! We sat at the bar and Ash was very attentive and welcoming. Seeing we were having trouble deciding between all the delicious offerings, she offered to customize our order anyway we wanted so we could try a variety of things. I had a combo of seafood/veggie omelette with lump crab and shrimp it which was heavenly. The jalapeño grits were excellent, not too spicy but had a kick. They put the jalapeño sauce on the edge so you can mix in as much as you want. The sauce by itself was very spicy but after mixing with the grits it toned down the spiciness to a perfect level. My boyfriend got the salmon Benedict on top of the highly recommended fried green tomatoes and loved it. We also wanted to try to blueberry pancake and chocolate pancake not a whole order. Ash helpfully suggested we could get just regular pancake or the small silver dollar pancakes so we could sample that. The OJ mimosa was very good but the peach mimosa made with peach schnapps was even better (very smooth). I highly recommend this place. It was packed so apparently it is pretty popular, but fortunately we didn't have to wait probably because we got there around 11am. Let me just start by saying my experience at Gochas BB was amazing. This restaurant has been on my list of must visits for a while however since I live on the northside...way northside, I hadn't had the opportunity to visit. Well that ended today. I arrived at the most perfect time. I was able to easily get an open seat at the bar. My barmaid/waitress was immediately attentive and engaged. I thought I had my mind made up on what I was going to order when I got there however all of the dishes that was coming out of the kitchen looked so yummy, I was rethinking my choice. Anyways, I started chatting with this nice young lady next to me at the bar and was telling her about this being my first time at the restaurant. She was like "well girl the first time I came to this restaurant, someone graciously paid for my meal...so today your meal is on me. Huh what huh!! I declined by she insisted. So at this point, I was really winning. I ended up ordering the Krunchtastic Crunchy French Toast, chicken tenders and a side of eggs. It was sooo delicious y'all. This was a milestone birthday for me and I wanted to go and do specific things. I knew I wanted to climb Stone Mountain and have Sunday brunch at Gochas Breakfast Bar. Well I climbed Stone Mountain on Saturday and on Sunday we dined at Gochas for brunch. Although we had reservations, we missed them. As a result, there was an hour wait!! This sucked since we had out of town guests who were leaving that day but wanted to experience Gochas with us, unfortunately they were unable to. When they were finally ready to seat us, they set us at a 2 seater (there were 3 of us), which we were ok since we were starving. I must say, the young lady who sat us was so apologetic for having to seat us at this table (she was so sweet). We then met our bubbly, energetic, super nice and friendly waitress Jasmine...ya'll we LOVE HER!!!! She was the BEST!! I was torn between two dishes and she asked me which ones..I told her..and guess what? SHE MADE THEM A LITTLE COMBO FOR ME!! Then this nice gentleman came over and did the birthday spiele for me. What a truly great experience and I will definitely be back..and on time..and will be requesting Jasmine again. They are definitely worth the trek from Alpharetta. Although the food was decent, this establishment has permanently lost my business. Was in the area, on the move looking for a late breakfast option for takeout. I noticed walking into pick up my order a nice dine-in crowd for noon on a Monday (nobody in the building wearing mask!) I ordered (shrimp and grits) & my wife (Bacon egg and cheese + tomato croissant w/ fries...as shown on the menu). Even though there was a tamper proof tape on her food we should check before leaving, because THEY DON'T VALUE TAKEOUT CUSTOMERS! No complaints on my order but my lady's breakfast sandwich had a flat croissant, no cheese or tomato and didn't receive the fries she ordered. My issue was the lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. The woman who took our order took the phone back to the kitchen/manager whom insisted our order was correct. Even claimed in a 30sec conversation they checked the cameras! SMH Needless to say, we have no reason to lie about the food that was given to us, however its disappointing when businesses in our community poorly handles supporting customers. No need to argue with staff, managers or etc... I won't be back! read more

Black Owned Restaurant to start. The Staff Very professional and works in harmony. The service my sister's and I received from *Tara* was nothing less than Stellar . This was our first visit to Gocha's. We sat and admired how each staff member moved swiftly with intentions on getting everyone served. They all had on mask but you could tell they were happy and Proud doing what they do. NOW about THE FOOD!!! EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. Hec,, I think we enjoyed watching plates rolling out as we waited. Lol, everything looked so good. And not only did it look good it actually taste good. No seasoning needed. It's a plus for me when I'm able to dig right in. *Tara* suggested the special of the day.. So I tried that and everything else that came to my table. (The wait time is long) I suggest not going when you're extremely Hungry. Nor going with the expectation of getting seated right away. You can make reservations days ahead,, no same day reservation. This is exemplified EXCELLENCE at it's finest! From the time we checked in the staff was very accommodating. We had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, it was recommended by our amazing server Ki! Delicious! Then I had the fried fish and traditional grits with a pancake, which reminded me of my grandfather's pancakes. Again delicious. My husband had the meat lovers omelette with grits and a biscuit. Now let me tell you that their biscuits are very similar to my aunt Aileen biscuits which means they are old school and tasty. So let me tell you all this, their staff pays attention to the smallest details. He is a small yet meaningful examples, the table next to us was wobbling and before the guest could get their the server placed a stabilizer under it. Anyone that has sat at a table that wobbles understand why that matters. Another important thing was having other servers clearing the tables immediately and the kitchen and the servers station was always clean. A friend and I met up at Gochas Breakfast Bar on a very hot day in the ATL. Despite the heat and long lines, we decided to wait 30 minutes for our table. Once seated, Jasmine was our waitress and she took very good care of us. What I noticed during our wait: the servers were attentive, they kept up with cleanliness, disinfected after each customer, and employees provided exceptional customer service. The food finally arrived before long and it did not disappoint. The salmon and eggs, sunny side up on croissant with my beverage Jasmine created set me straight for the rest of the day. Later, a lady with red hair approached our table to check on us and to take our plates. Little did I know it was Gocha. Never heard of her or knew of her background, but what I can say is that her spirit is genuine, she cares about the business and her customers, and it is a direct reflection on the service we received. So much so, I came in the next day with two more friends, as promised. The atmosphere was great, and I'll be back. read more

I am a registered nurse who just worked a 12hour shift and came to gocha breakfast bar with a coworker for breakfast. Although our server Kelsea was amazing and offered great customer service ! The first issue i had with this establishment is they didn't have the drink my coworker ordered. The second issue there are gnats flying around. The third and BIGGEST issue i was REFUSED plastic silver ware when asked ! Our tab was easily over 100.00 between the two of us and whether i spent 10.00, if i a paying customer prefers plastic silver ware i should not be denied the choice ! I spoke with the manager (the owners son) who advised he "doesn't make the rules he just enforces them" and literally would rather lose a 100.00 tab than give me ONE plastic fork ! This place is DESPICABLE and i will NEVER return here ! You try to patronize black owned restaurants and really spend money within your own community and your faced with asinine guidelines such as these ! I'm disgusted ! read more

Zero stars.... Simply... the food is NOT GOOD at all and it's expensive for small portions. It was 4 of us everyone left feeling the same.. disappointed and unfulfilled. Pancakes tasted like grease, shrimp and grits flavorless with 3 shrimp with garnish that was over done. The bacon was like heavily glazed in maple (too much). The fries omgoodness it was like they dumped garlic powder on it. Nasty! What kids you know don't eat fries. Will my kids would not eat these fries. My daughter left her meal and didn't ask to box it. The biscuits they make are a replica of churches chickens biscuit heavy, hard with baked honey on them. When they seat you, they say here are the house rules. Like what???! One of the rules.... all sales are final (Food and Drinks). I should have left. $150.00 and the food was NOT good at all like Waffle House is better. The music.. great.. at little loud... place seemed clean. Food just wasn't it at all. Ok can we talk about how beneficial it is to have a full staff. It felt like a meal with family. Everyone was helping everyone, from seating, to checking in on me, to delivering meal components, to keeping table clutter at bay. It's a true team in here. And the kitchen is a well-oiled machine. Every plate that came out looked like a work of art! I love it! Now for the food. I had the impossible empanadas and avocado toast. Both were delicious. I ate the empanadas so fast, I didn't get to take a picture. They were so fresh, hot, and well-seasoned, they were gone before I knew it. Last, but not least, Rod took care of me today. I asked him about what might be best to pair with the empanadas and without hesitation, he suggested I take the balanced meal approach. I'm happy he did. He knew what I needed. Him being friendly as well is a plus. It's always great to experience top-notch customer service. That and the vibe in here turned a sour Monday sweet. read more

Super disappointed! This place was my go to breakfast/brunch spot. When family and friends would come into town I would recommend we go here. Some relatives came to the city to visit on Sunday and I recommended we go there, but it was a mistake. It seems that they may have a new chef and manager. The food was not good and my brother didn't get his meal until everyone had already eaten. I thought maybe it's just an off day. Three days later on my birthday this Wednesday I went back. I asked for my salmon to be cooked in the middle and they gave me a piece of burnt salmon. I didn't complain. I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese, they added cold shredded cheese unmelted on top, and I didn't complain. However the last straw was the hair in my potatoes. The manager did not comp my meal. I would never go back or recommend any to go. No good customer service. It was like they were amused by not comping me, when a hair was genuinely in my food. SMH! read more

Service- I love Gocha's! Temika was the bartender and she immediately greeted us with a warm smile. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, we already knew what we wanted but she still showed her knowledge. She also introduced me to the loyalty program and made sure o signed up! No one has done this for me yet. Ambiance- It was busy but the flow from the service staff throughout the restaurant seemed to keep smiling faces on all of the guests. And the music is always a vibe. Food- We (my hubby and I) ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes to start. I had the grit bowl with veggie sausage and all the fixings including the mushroom gravy, he had the seafood omelette with the jalapeño cheese grits and a chocolate chip waffle to split! I'm going to start by saying that the manager was kicking the top to the ranch on the floor instead of picking it up off the floor .the manager was very unprofessional being very loud and obnoxious confronting the host in the middle of the floor while I eat my food. she's complaining about where the customers are sitting at and that she wants them to be placed at certain seats, but we spend To much money not to sit where we are comfortable at. The manager and the bartender Tuesday, March 31 they were talking smack about the customer not professional at all I ended my meal & I did t drink my drink from the bar due to the fact that I'm being talked about by the bartende. If the manager wants to work at McDonald's with the ghetto stuff, I think that that would be a great fit for her because Gocha's is a nice upscale brunch restaurants, that I would like to continue to go but if the manger is going to be like that then I'm good on coming. read more

It's all about Ash!!! 1st time ever at Gochas. We decided to sit at the bar and Ash made our experience amazing. The bar was clean, the menu recommendations were on point, the drink suggestions were great. Ash was warm and friendly she made me feel like l was at home. She walked through the menu and was extremely attentive! We started with the Hail Mary to drink followed my several more custom creations from Ash! We ordered the Fried green tomatoes as well as the Cajun Creole lump fish and grits! Both were delicious! The tomatoes was lightly breaded, heavily seasoned and nice and firm on the inside they were simply delicious. Between the $20 entry fee and $15 parking charge, the overall value was difficult to justify. The ambiance is ok but the bar area is cluttered and what not. Also, there is this step down that needs to have a yellow stripe or something to let people know there is a step down. The entire floor is black. My friend said she almost didn't notice it and could have fallen. There is a $200 dollar private VIP room in the back but you get nothing with it, just privacy. No bottle service! That's a bit much. So, do I recommend Sweet Auburn Brunch??? Maybe, if you have nothing but time on your hands, sure! But if you got something to do, this ain't the spot for you.

The entire staff engaged with us and all patrons regardless if they were serving the table. The environment is warm and lively! There is an automatic gratuity charge of 18% (at the time of visit) but the service was so wonderful so the gratuity is well deserved! Reign was our server and was wonderful she was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu ! She definitely added to our overall experience and when I'm back in town this will be my first stop for brunch!

Oysters were good however we only could order 2 dozen total because they had to save for other customers. The drinks were okay however the bartender did remake it when I said, it tasted like juice. Also, the menu price of drinks was $16 but our check said $18..hmm! Overall it was a cool and we might go back.
