Oh my goodness. I cannot rave about Ashley ENOUGH. Ashley did my hair for a trial as well as my wedding. She was so patient and friendly. During the trial, she took what I wanted seriously and was totally fine changing things that I didn't like as much. The day of the wedding she got there EARLY and was able to get me done in record time. AND AND it looked even better in the trial. She was so nice and we chatted while I was in her chair. She also recommended some products so I can play around with styling my own hair in the future. She was so amazing. I cannot recommend her enough!!! Also, I had no problem paying her. The portal is very easy to use. So she got paid, showed up, and rocked her job!! read more

RUN AWAY! I helped my daughter pay for services from Goddess Glamour for wedding day hair and make-up. THE MAKE-UP ARTIST DID NOT SHOW UP ON MY DAUGHTER's WEDDING DAY. The hair artist couldn't get in touch with the owner and there was no back-up plan. Luckily, a family friend was experienced with stage makeup and helped with the bridesmaids while and another artist, who was doing wedding make-up for other hotel guests, helped myself and my daughter. We still don't have an apology or a refund. Also, the hair styliest ran out of time and the maid of honor did not get her hair down. No call of apology and, so far as I know, no refund, Would give zero starts if I could. read more

Goddess Glamour no-call no-showered for my hair/makeup services I booked for my engagement pictures. Before the day of services, I had been receiving communications via email. I was sent a "how to prep for your day" email 7 days before so I wrongly assumed everything was good to go. Day of, Paradise was supposed to be at my apartment at 11:45 am. 11:45 passed. At five minutes late, I was assuming Paradise was having trouble finding parking. 5, 10, 15 minutes later, I kept waiting and did not hear from her. At 12:15 I called the number that was on my final itinerary, and to my shock, the number could not be completed as dialed. I tried again and this time it did ring and I left a voicemail. I also reached out via email. I had to rush to do my own hair and makeup for my engagement pictures. I still have not had a returned phone call or email from the hair and makeup artist. As a note, when I signed my contract, I set up automatic payments. On the date the final payment was due, the payment was not charged. I logged into my account and realized the reason I was not charged was because I needed to add in gratuity. Why give your clients the option of autopay if you don't adhere to it? Also, I will generously tip you, but why not until after I receive the services? I will be disputing the charge through my credit card company. I asked for a refund through the company and have still received no communication. My advice to brides: Do not book this company. I don't want your day to be ruined like mine was. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The inconsistency I experienced coupled with the terrible communication and lack of professionalism is reason enough to never use Goddess Glamour. When I booked, Carly was very responsive. After I paid the deposit, that changed. When I selected Goddess Glamour, I had no idea I was getting random artists, of which I did not select, assigned to my wedding and received an email with three artists listed just a few months before my wedding. I had no idea the quality of their work nor had the ability to see their work. The original lead artist came to my home for a trial run and bombed it. When she left my home, I was disheartened and unhappy and asked for a re-do. The photo I showed her looked nothing like what she executed. They wanted to charge me again for another trial, for something I felt should have been executed the first time around so I was unwilling to pay and asked for a new artist (of which was already assigned to my wedding per the email) to take the lead. I expressed my concerns on the phone to Carly and she change the lead artist to Paradice and assured me I would hear from her immediately. Never did I hear from her so I initiated communication and was told my timeline for my trial re-do was incorrect in a short and rude manner. After back and forth, we finally arrived at a trial date, and I assumed the trial would take place in my home, much like my first trial did. I expect consistency of a vendor. However, Paradice said I'd need to come to her home (on the other side of town....an HOUR away) for the trial. I felt uncomfortable with this and shared my disappointment with Carly and she simply replied with a copied/pasted verbiage from the contract and essentially made me feel as if my reaction to my experience was completely invalid. Both Paradice and Carly's communication was so unprofessional. To top it off, Paradice ultimately cancelled my trial run the morning of. That was the last disappointment I was willing to take. After the runaround with the trial runs and the complete lack of professionalism, I opted to cancel my contract with Goddess Glamour one month out from my wedding. I expressed my concerns to Carly via email and she never acknowledged or showed any degree of care to the terrible experience I had and passed me to Brice, their scheduler. Brice was rude and condescending on another topic that was completely misinterpreted on Carly's part, and I never did receive a response from Brice regarding my contract cancellation as Carly suggested. Losing my deposit money was worth it to not have anyone from this company at my wedding. I did not trust they would actually show up and was so angry that I couldn't imagine having anyone representing Goddess Glamour at my big day. Save yourself the time, sanity and money and use another vendor for your hair/makeup needs. This business feels like scam and operates very poorly and unprofessionally. read more

We canceled outside of a month and still ended up having to pay over $600. my sister-in-law's fiancé canceled their wedding and I had been in charge of organizing the makeup so the deposit was on my card as well as the contract. When the wedding was canceled they would not refund the half done deposit and then made us pay more. RUN! Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Would not recommend to ANYONE. read more

We used Goddess Glamour and anyone who asks how it went I would tell them to RUN not walk away from this business. Between the no shows, drama, and terrible experience I have nothing good to say about them. Carly was responsive, professional, and caring until they got the deposit then it was a complete 180. It took days and too many excuses to get a hold of anyone e. First make up artist didn't work out because she flaked no call/no show on our first zoom meeting and I let her know that we thought it was "unprofessional and made the company look bad" and she quit saying we were mean to her!? Zero accountability and Carly was defensive from them on. The multiple reset at for a copy of the contract were never sent and a %20 tip will be added without your knowledge just a heads up. Makeup was "meh" and we didn't look the same and hair only stayed in for 2 of the 3 hours and it was NOT and updo. I would not recommend Goddess Glamour to my worst enemy. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! Brianna was our assigned make up artist who was supposed to show up at 645am sharp. When Brianna did not show up at her 645am start time we spent 2 hours calling her and the owner Carly without any response from Brianna until 845am when she finally called me back saying she "slept through her alarm." She did not arrive until almost 10am. She had to rush through all my bridesmaids hair and make up trying to cram 5 hours of services into 2 hours. Most of my bridesmaids had to redo their own hair and make up. We were 30 minutes late to our ceremony because no one was ready. It was very traumatic and stressful and after repeated contact attempts to Carly the owner we have still not received any response. Carly was very responsive during the booking process but she has not responded to any of our contact attempts. It was very upsetting and I'm shocked we haven't even received an apology from from the owner yet alone and sort of remedy. read more
