DO NOT GET PIZZA FROM HERE. Everyone has attitudes here. I had someone order a half taco half pepperoni with extra pepperoni. It looked like the regular amount so I asked them to remake. They said stuff under their breath I was upset about. Then I asked them to cover the half with pepperoni. I get the pizza, there was a whole entire slice without pepperoni. I was told by the manager they follow a recipe and he put extra on. I don't care if you are following a recipe.....if I asked for extra and I'm paying why can't you just do it. Why the hassle. I'm from out of country (Alberta Canada) I had a chance to visit this restaurant, the food and the service is top shelf

so we just moved to Cheyenne from Colorado Springs with the military. I place an order online for pick up. I ordered 2lbs of buffalo wings. the options are 1lb or 2lb orders. keep in mind these are the most expensive wings I ever bought at $29 for a 2lb order. so I go pick up my order and head home. get home and open the container and discover there is not a drop of buffalo sauce on the wings. I call the place up and explain what I am seeing and that they clearly messed up my order. lady on phone tells me to come back and they will fix it.... so I drive back there. the lady asks for the wings back and says she will go put sauce on them. my wife said no way, remake them. the lady gets rude and tells us to wait. after a half hour we are given two containers back with wings in them. come to find out they still gave us back the same wings!!! I know this to be true because I marked the sauce containers with a sharpie on the bottom as I suspected they might do this. keep in mind it is against health code for a restaurant to take food back and re-serve it after it has left the premises. so long story short I call "Bob" the franchise owner and he 1never apologizes for their mistake 2 says he will make it right and send us coupons but never does. so lesson here is God Fathers Pizza in Cheyenne Wyoming is Sketch at best and their customer service is even worse. when they treat customers like this it is a wonder they are still in business. WE WILL NEVER EAT OR ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. I would encourage our fellow military community members to do the same and avoid this place. just stopping for some pizza. from a cheyenne resident this place is alright. the pepperoni pizza that we ordered tasted awfully similar to your average dominoes. not bad just very very similar the cashier was very grouchy and seemed to be taking it out on us. she also seemed very annoyed that we asked were the lids for the fountain drinks were (they were back behind the counter. impossible to find unless you ask for them) the restaurant felt pretty nice overall very quiet. however the arcade machines in the back were very aged and broken down and half of them were out of order overall not bad but not great do not recommend to people stopping in cheyenne. go to another pizza place if your looking for good pizza read more

Vegetarian friendly and accommodating in meat country. The new owners seem to working hard to win back customers who previously were lost and gain new onesn with better service and food quality. I come here sometimes for the lunch buffet. They cheerfully put up a veggie pizza on "golden crust" (my favorite here). Their salad bar has enough options that it could be "a meal in itself". The food is tasty making the hardest part about here is not overeating. There are cheaper pizza buffets in town but for vegetarians none better. read more

Coming home for holidays and this is always on the list of places to eat. However, they have pissed off this regular (and might i add VERRY PREGNANT and cravings driven) customer. For starters, drove up and doors were locked. Figured ok, maybe they just closed the lobby. Went to the drive - up window, waited for couple minutes until finally a female came up and stated they were closed. When confronted with their printed hours on lobby doors, she gave a snarky remark and made me feel as if i was stupid and inconveniencing her by making her admit that they were at fault. Apparently they have neglected to update store hours on their place of business, phone recording, and online (yelp/siri/etc) . that is no way to run a business. read more

Best pizza buffet I've found since moving here almost a year ago. Tasty selections in both pizza varieties and salad bar offerings. I'm also a big fan of the cherry Pepsi at the fountain. I would've given 5 stars had they not stopped putting new pizzas out 30 minutes before buffet was over with not less than a dozen people who just started eating and another 3-top walking through the door. I can understand not wanting food waste (I've managed restaurants before) just maybe read the room a little better? All in all since I liked the food we'll be back. read more

They screwed up my order! Ordered by phone, showed up, and they didn't have my pizza! They gave it to another customer. They didn't argue, they simply asked if I could wait for them to make another pizza. They also threw in an order of monkey bread(absolutely delicious!). Okay, I had to wait an extra 15 minutes... big deal! Got a pizza at a great price (Monday special), and free monkey bread. So often I read reviews where the customer (snowflake) doesn't give the company the opportunity to make it right. They did a great job, and I didn't really see a manager. That tells me that the company has done a good job training to empower the 'front lIne'. Mistakes happen... how a company deals with the mistake will make lifetime customers. read more

We drive an hour and a half to eat here once or twice a year. There is literally a Godfathers down the street from us but it is not the same as when I made them in high school ( 40 years ago ) so we come here for the original. Staff is very friendly. Godfathers reminds me of my teenage years. Houston had one within walking distance and I celebrated a birthday there back in the early 80's. I freaking loved it, but sadly, they didn't last long in Houston. Fast forward to 2010 & while visiting Lackland AFB for my son's graduation, I happily found a long-lost favorite. The pizza was kick-ass! It was everything I remembered and more! I stumbled upon another in Galveston back in 2016, but it was too disgusting to even try & they closed shortly thereafter. When I found out that Cheyenne had a Godfathers I was super excited to check it out & I insisted that we visited the very first day I arrived. We strolled in a little after dark (sunset is 4:40) & I was still running on standard time. Everyone was nice & we each ordered a small pizza. I glanced over at the fountain drinks & since they were Pepsi products, I ordered water. The drink station was kind of gross, but I could overlook it because I was going to be eating some amazing pizza. We sat down & waited a short time and then the lady brought the pizzas. Upon first glance I knew I wasn't going to get to experience a good pie. It had way too much sauce and way too little cheese. The dough certainly wasn't fresh, but was old and previously frozen. I swear it tasted just like a Red Barron. I was absolutely devastated. I brought it home because I'm cheap, but sadly, it was even worse the next day. I've never paid so much for disappointment. These people shouldn't be in the pizza business. Even my son who will eat pretty much anything thought it was awful. I know Godfathers wasn't represented correctly & I honestly believe the chain should look into this location. There is no way that it was fresh or that real cheese was used. I'm so disappointed, but glad I was able to warn my son's friends to not bother as it wasn't the same as the Lackland AFB location & frozen from the grocery store would be a better option. I'll be returning to Cheyenne soon, but I would never return (even if they were giving it away). read more

My husband bowls in Cheyenne every year. I have loved this place, until the last visit. It was always slower service, but that did t bother me too much. I didn't make this trip and he stopped to a taco pizza, to bring home. He asked that it not get baked, but after waiting forever, he got it, and it was baked. Place is quite dated and even a bit dingy. However, the pizza is always good. It's one of my favorite places to go because of its delicious and unique flavor. While its not much to look at on the outside, the pizza on the inside is great! Since there are so few brick-n-mortar Godfather's left, we stopped on the way through Cheyenne. You'll find most Godfather's Pizzas in gas stations now. Of all the Godfathers I have eaten, this one makes the best pizzas. We got the classic combo, which is loaded with cheese, onions, black olives, pepperoni and more. It was great! My daughter's mini pizza was also delicious. There was no skimping on quality for the kids meal (like so many restaurants do now). This Godfather's gets lots of business from walk-in to drive through. There's also a salad bar that my wife said was fresh, cold and crisp. If I ever pass this way again, I'll be stopping by for another pie. read more

Pizza is not the greatest. Their buffet setup is very difficult to navigate during the busy lunch hour. They have a line of people trying to pay while the others are trying to shuffle past with their food. There was only one single piece of pizza available when we started. Thankfully they soon replenished the buffet. But as I mentioned, the pizza wasn't that great. I had been wanting to try this place for a while since I used to like Godfather's many years ago. The pizza was good. The buffet was small and crowded and there could have been a larger variety if pizza available. The meat balls are what you expect when you leave them under a heating lamp all day, which made the texture of them rubbery. When you first walk in there is no sign to tell you to find your own seat or wait to be seated. Nobody greets you, and the register is right next to the buffet making it extremely crowded. Pizza was good but the selection was minimal. Meatballs were rubbery and no shredded cheese in the salad bar. Godfathers Pizza always is amazing! The pizza always has awesome flavor, and is always hot when you get it. I would have to say this is the best "chain" pizza in Cheyenne. They also do a buffet at lunch time and sometimes supper as well. I still prefer to order a pizza rather than do the buffet. This place is never packed full of people, which is kind of a good thing. They are a tad steep on prices compared to the other "chain" pizza places, but its definitely worth it. Godfathers is a great place to go for pizza in Cheyenne. read more

I lived in Cheyenne when this pizza joint first opened. I went to Central high. By far the best pizza in Cheyenne!! Moved to Connecticut, lived in the New York/Connecticut area for nearly 20 years. I love this place! We have been coming here for years. The atmosphere is as plain as they come, but the pizza more than makes up for it. We can not get enough of the Taco Pizza. The fresh cold lettuce and tomato on the hot pizza are amazing. They even hot sauce on the side. They don't have one in Denver, so we are happy to make the trip. It is so worth it. Helpful tip of you would like to take a Taco Pizza home and don't live very close. They can also prepare the pizza so you can take it home and cook it yourself, with the lettuce and tomato on the side. That way you can enjoy it hot, and the lettuce doesn't get soggy.
