The inside of the restaurant felt like a early 20th-century bungalow especially in the sunken seating area, which felt cozy and less like a typical restaurant. The restaurant also felt like a sports bar too since there were some TVs having sports on there. The Ziggy's sampler was standard but the cheesy garlic bread had the right amount of crunch and butter in it. The white delight pizza was delicious overall, but there wasn't enough cream cheese in it so it tasted more like cheesy bread with toppings. I ordered a take out pizza. The restaurant did look nice, cozy and an informal place to relax. The pizza is a 9x13" as stated, about a few inches smaller than the box. I came from the northeast where pizzas are hand thrown and a culinary delight. This is not that type of pizza. The crust is not crisp on the bottom and chewy yet soft. The meat pizza had little bits of dried out meat but no pepperonI. I would have been better off buying a self rising frozen pizza. Sorry gals. The workers were polite, helpful and delivered a pizza within 15 minutes. I thought it was about 10 minutes too short, now I know why. Still looking for a great pizza place. read more

Ziggys has a few locations but this one is by far the cutest. They have a nice little patio and small house vibe. I love the string lights. My party of eight visited Ziggys on a Saturday night around 5pm. The place was mostly empty, not really the dinner rush yet. We ordered two apps. The Ziggy bites that were very good and the nachos. I do not recommend the nachos, the had hardly any ground beef and were far below average. I ordered the Herms Hoagie and my husband had the white delight pizza. The sandwich was very small, bread was touching each other, needs more meat in the middle. The pizza is average, I prefer a more cooked crust, this crust is very chewy. Service is classic high school workers...not bad but not good. Overall this pizza joint is very average at best. read more

Imagine publicly humiliating one of your regular customers over a tip you were too careless to notice. My friend had a $30 tab at Ziggy's, left a $10 CASH tip, and put $0 on the card because, shocking concept, the tip was in cash. As he and his friends were leaving, two servers came outside literally screaming at him in front of everyone, accusing him of stiffing them and trying to embarrass him publicly. He calmly explained that he already tipped in cash. Instead of admitting they may have missed it, they doubled down and accused him of "covering it up." He even went back inside and offered to tip AGAIN just to de-escalate the scene, and somehow they still tried turning that against him too. They saw there was a $10 bill in the tip jar, which he gave a $10 bill for a tip and they still didn't accept that could have been his. Not a single apology. Not an ounce of accountability. Just attitude, accusations, and absolute embarrassment on their part. This is how you treat someone who comes in every weekend, brings groups of friends, spends money consistently, and tips well? Wild business strategy. Nothing says "great service" quite like berating loyal customers in public because you couldn't be bothered to check your own tip jar before throwing a tantrum. Visited Ziggy's on a basketball tourney visit to Whichita and it had a really cute atmosphere and patio. Good selection of craft beers and several varieties of specialty pizzas. Went with the "Meat" pizza (cannot remember what it was called right now). pizza was hot, came out fast and was very tasty. Not as thick on the crust as I would personally like, but it was pretty good. We also had garlic cheesy bread which was super crispy and cheesy and the Ziggy's dry-rub wings. The wings had a great flavor but were not anything uber-special. I would go back again for sure if visiting just for the pizza, ambience, and craft beers! read more

I honestly had zero expectations going in here. I actually was not hungry, but needed to eat something for dinner. I was excited to find out the pizza here is really delicious! I love their crust, which they make super thin in the middle, and the outside crust is really soft and yummy. I can't even explain what was so good about it, but I found myself wanting the corner pieces so I could get more crust! The cheese on the pizza was nicely baked so it added a crispy texture to the toppings. The cocktails are also a nice sweet treat if you don't like them too strong, which I don't. Holy deliciousness!! This was hands down our favorite pizza we've ever had! Started with the Cheese Garlic Bread. Made that disappear quickly. Order six Ziggy Wings as a meal replacement for myself. Shared instead and happy I did. I would've been sad to miss out on the star of the show, the pizza. The wings were meaty, juicy and perfectly spiced. Ordered appetizers 2 Italian salads, Big time Pepperoni Pizza and College Hill Club 1 adult beverage and 2 drinks. Took 20 minutes to receive appetizers 45 minutes for salads, an hour for the sandwich and another 30 minutes for the pizza. The entertainment was agonizing and intrusive to say the least. The most frustrating $84.00 dining experience I have had in recent memory. For the difficulty of finding Parking to patronize this establishment the experience is inexcusable. Will not be back. This place was recommended to us by a family member. It's in a small but very cute shopping center. You can sit inside or outside. We decided to sit inside. The place is big and we had 7 people with us. We were seated in our own section with TV's. The place is pretty cool. The service was slow. I ordered wings with 3 pizzas . Also a pretzel. We got the pretzel first that was good but it was bread sticks not made like a regular pretzel. Then we got the pizza and wings with no plates or napkins. We waited like 10 minutes we had to go to the kitchen and ask. The refill on drinks also took forever. The pizzas are really good here. If you sit outside there's a grass area where kids can play. For such a cute, quaint location, this place was...ok. Located in a REALLY cool part of College Hill, Ziggy's Pizza is nestled among other, eclectic shops and restaurants. Patrons can sit either inside or outside, but beware: the inside is very cramped. Any crowd growth makes it almost unbearable. I came here with my son during a moderately-busy time and the servers seemed overwhelmed. They layout of this restaurant does not help proper traffic flow as the waiters were all dodging through the one (and only) entrance to the bar/kitchen area. It seemed mass confusion behind the bar and it was constantly crowded with employees bustling to and from. I ordered the Cluck Norris and really liked it. However, I had to wait a full 15 minutes after my son got his food to receive my dinner. They did not come out together and the service was just sloppy all around. The waitress was nice enough, just overwhelmed and sloppy in execution. I might give this place one more shot if I have enough patience. However, the first impression was not good. read more

We called in chips and queso and a build your own pineapple pizza that was ready in about 20 minutes. The chips and queso were pretty standard the queso nothing special. Their pizzas all come in one size 8 slices but cut like a square not your typical pizza slices which made it pretty difficult to eat in the car but the pizza itself was yummy! Gluten Free BEWARE!! Ordered the gluten free bbq chicken, my daughter's stomach started hurting in the restaurant. Didn't make it 30 minutes into our 2 ish hour drive home before we were pulled over for her to vomit.
