Looking back, we probably should have left at that point, but our kids were already starving. Once our food arrived, we still had to flag down a server just to get our drinks and utensils. The drinks eventually came, but the utensils never did we ended up getting them ourselves. We never had an assigned waiter just multiple people bringing our dishes. The service was so poor that I honestly can't even remember how the food tasted because the entire experience was overshadowed by the lack of attention and organization. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had, and I won't be returning.

The marinade on the beef slices was something I haven't tried before. It was tangy, a bit spicy and ultimately delicious. The salad had lettuce, cabbage, grape tomatoes, decorative cucumbers, and carrots. There were red onion slices, cilantro and scallions garnished over the top of the meat. The service was great and our drinks were consistently refilled. For dessert, we ordered the mango sticky rice and I loved how creamy the rice was which paired well with the sweet and soft mangoes. I cannot wait to go back and try something different on their menu. This salad was delicious and fresh and I'd order it again. As you can see, the mango sticky rice is very soupy and cereal-like. I've never had it presented this way. Didn't taste great either. My issue with the pad thai was it was like 99.9% noodles and hardly any tofu. I mean, it's tofu, not the more pricey seafood or other protein. Other than that, this was far from my fav pad thai. I'd be willing to stop by again and try their curry or another dish but not for either of these.

The chicken was bland and just tasted like it seasoned with pepper. The broth was just simple watered down chicken broth. They have spice options and also have a spice rack if you need more spice. The som-tum most likely comes Thai style but I requested Lao style which they accommodated to. I got the spiciest level but it wasn't that spicy to me. The pork skewers that came with sticky rice was well flavored and had that smoky charred grilled taste which was nice.

Look for the Winchester Center sign next to the market. Since we arrived before it opened on a Sunday, we browsed in the market until it was tine to eat. We had a reservation for 6 of us, so they seated us at the one round table near the front. There is another longer table next to it on the left side where there's a colorful mural. The rest of the tables are booths. The restaurant is spacious and roomy and very clean. You can order items from the menu or build your own hot pot which is AYCE. Everyone in our party chose the hot pot. We were each brought a small blue pot that contained the sterno to heat up the soup and the broth of our choice inside. We also placed our meat order with our server. We went to the back-left corner to grab our veggies, and some other things to add to our hot pot. Our server came by often to take more meat orders, clear empty plates, and check if we needed more broth or if our sterno needed more fuel. Our server was delightfully cheerful and friendly. She was helpful and answered all of our questions, especially when we had to choose our broths. (Forgive me for forgetting your name!) I highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation if you have a larger party. Accessibility notes: most of the tables are padded booths. If you can transfer and slide, you should be okay. Otherwise, see if you can sit at a table that has chairs on the left side. The restaurant is spacious enough to park your mobility aid (or stroller for babies) near you. The restrooms are located in the back-left corner, 2 single stall restrooms, one for men and one for women. There is enough room for someone to enter with their mobility aid and a helper companion. You can enter the restaurant without climbing a step, but I don't recall where the handicap accessible parking was since we used a regular parking space and I climbed up the curb. No one from the family is local, but my brother-in-law chose this restaurant because it's somewhere where we can meet in the middle. We all loved it, and are adding it to our rotation when we need to come together for a celebration.

That's easily fixed by just grabbing the regular sized straws. The service was good, the line was to the door but they got our orders quickly. The place play music at a nice level that's not too loud. They get packed though so be prepared to stand. I am glad to stumble upon this gem of a family owned shop. Been coming here since December as I really loved all the different roasts that I have tried. But the best part is how they treat their customers. Last May I dropped by late in the afternoon past 5 PM knowing they closed at 4 PM. I was just trying my luck hoping they will let me grab a bag. I felt bad as they were already closed for the day but Jason and Robyn didn't hesitate to unlock the doors and allow me to buy a bag of my favorite beans "Chiapas" even when the cash register is already turned off. As always the beans were freshly roasted. The shop features ample seating if you elect to dine in. Review of Goi Express (November 17th, 2024) I recently visited Goi Express with my family and friends on a Sunday afternoon around 1:06 PM. Upon arrival, we were guided to order via QR code, a system that seems efficient but also a bit impersonal. We were greeted by a very friendly and cordial waitress who checked in on us from time to time, which was a nice touch. We ordered a few dishes - Tom Kha Kai, chicken fried rice, and Thai tea and the food arrived promptly. However, there was a bit of confusion with the orders, as we had multiple QR codes scanned for our table. We tried to clarify the mix-up with the waitress, who was understanding and trying to help. What really soured our experience, though, was the interaction with the restaurant owner, who appeared to be middle-aged. As the waitress was bringing our food to the table, the owner came over, raised her voice at us, and seemed upset over the order clarification. We had not done anything wrong just trying to sort out a little confusion--but the owner's response was unnecessarily rude and confrontational. The situation escalated when she returned to our table a second time. This time she loudly proclaimed that her restaurant was a "full-service restaurant" and mostly a takeout place, as if to justify her earlier behavior. We were taken aback by her tone and, frankly, shocked at her lack of professionalism. The owner's attitude was so aggressive that it felt like we were being scolded, and her raised voice was loud enough for nearby customers to overhear. At that point, we felt compelled to respond, telling her directly that her behavior was rude and uncalled for. While the food was undeniably delicious, the experience was ruined by the owner's lack of basic manners and disrespect. We won't be returning to this restaurant, not because of the food or the staff (who were kind and attentive), but because of the hostile treatment we received from the owner. Service is key to a positive dining experience, and unfortunately, the owner's actions overshadowed everything else. When it first opened, it was actually amazing experience and food was delicious. I have returned the several times in the past months and I've watched the decline in cleanliness and efficient service. We were so excited to take our out of town guest to this restaurant. Unfortunately, there is to go boxes all over half our party was served their food while the other half waited an additional 15 minutes. Items were forgotten had to ask several times for the missed items. I feel we may give it one more chance . The to go boxes that are stacked all over needs to be removed from where the food is to be kept warm, and the cleanliness returns. Sad to have to leave a two star review for one of the restaurants I truly loved and was always excited to eat out at. read more

BEST Thai I have ever had! Quality and flavor of the Beef Basil Grapow (Sliced ribeye steak stir fry) was off the charts. I selected the Medium spice level which was nice and spicy but not overwhelming. The serving size was certainly enough for two to eat. And I recommend to order one more serving of rice with it. The Yellow Curry Pizza was also phenomenal. Rich and tasty - they make their own pizza crust. I've become jaded to the standard Thai menu and haven't been excited anymore to eat Thai UNTIL TODAY! I had lunch on opening day at Goi Express. Wow! It's an amazing place combining a fast food approach with haute cuisine. I loved the mango chicken in curry sauce with peanuts, the chicken cashew was equally delicious, and the mango sticky rice pudding was to die for. Last night my wife and I ordered Pad See Ew and Drunken Noodles to go. When we got home I opened my…read moredrunken noodle container and poured in 2 little cups of the chili flakes oil the restaurant gives away at their register area. I mixed the chili flake into the drunken noodles and start to eat. After about 5 bites a hear a large crunch and feel a large amount of pain coming from my lower left rear molar. I instantly spit out the bite I was chewing and go through the my half chewed food to find out what caused the issue. After some poking around I started to find big hard shards of transparent material and small shards of hard white material. The transparent shards I bit into were clearly glass and the white material were chunks of my tooth. My mouth was bleeding and in pain and I could feel my lower rear left molar had a large chunk missing. This place is really fucked up for letting glass into their food. It was clear they broke some glass around the chili flake oil or around one of the ingredients that makes up the drunken noodles and instead of throwing away everything that could have potentially had glass in it, they tried to salvage some of that contaminated food and serve it to their customers. This was my first and last time eating at this place. What really pisses me off more about this whole situation is that my wife and I are currently introducing various solid foods to our 1 year old daughter and we both gave our daughter noodles from our dishes. It really makes my blood boil that this restaurants cheap and lazy owner and employees would let this type of shit slide and make it other people's problem just to save a few dollars from product loss. Now I have to take a day off work to go to the dentist and get my tooth fixed or if the tooth is past repairable I'll have to go through the process of getting it removed and replaced with some artificial tooth. It sucks that all of that will end up coming out of my pocket. I would suggest everyone to stay away from place. This type of shit happening is never worth the risk from a place that disregards their quality control like this. There are plenty of other great Thai and Asian restaurants in the area that I have gone too over and over again without one issue. I hope this review helps others avoid the same bullshit this restaurant is currently putting me through. Also incase any other customers found glass in their food, I purchased my order around 8pm on April 22nd 2026.

Maybe a more up to date vibe isn't needed, but I think it could add to a location that had amazing food. Still 5 stars on the dining and a sleeper for great food.

If the food had been absolutely amazing, I wouldn't have minded the price as much, but unfortunately, it just wasn't. Most likely, I won't be returning.
