What a welcomed addition to the wing and bar scene in SA - especially at the beginning of football season! While we wanted to order more than our stomachs could handle (it all sounds delicious) we settled on the chicken nuggets and loaded tots. The nuggs were perfectly crispy and well seasoned yet still juicy. We decided to pair them with the apricot chipotle, carolina bbq, and ranch, all of which were tasty but I was a huge fan of the sweet and spicy combination of the apricot chipotle sauce. Next time we'll venture out and try the marshmallow sauce or spicy maple :) The loaded tots were absolute perfection - crispy, cheesy goodness with a subtle heat. We were super excited to add a growler filled with local beer (& at a reasonable price!) to our to-go order. The interior is quaint but makes up for it with a garage window, large bar, and enough seating to comfortably watch a game. Looking forward to catching the next Horns game inside! read more

Went with several people for lunch. The menu is small, chicken themed. We had the fried pickles and various sandwiches. The food and service was mediocre. The restaurant is more like a sports bar, lots of large televisions. read more

Atmosphere is casual. The first time we came, we left due to the wait time- with that said, come early, the place fills up fast. It's not huge but it does have a cool outdoor area. The second time we came, we sat in the patio. Server was great, knowledgeable on the flavors. I had the Tabasco honey wings and the loaded fries. We also enjoyed some alcohol beverages. The wings were decent size. The flavor was just that- Tobasco and honey. The cheese on the fries was that used normally for nachos. When it gets cold, it turns to plastic. The drinks were good. Delicious new-ish restaurant in San Antonio! I didn't try any of their drinks, so I'll focus on the food. I got the fried chicken sandwich and my husband got the chicken and waffles. We both each really enjoyed our meals! The fried chicken was flavorful and juicy, and the slaw on the sandwich was super tasty. I had heard online the sandwich was supposed to be "Nashville style," and I will say I did not think it tasted exactly like that. However, it was still great! Hubby and I came upon this place randomly while we were in the area. We were hungry but didn't know exactly what we wanted. I found this place through yelp. We were pleasantly surprised with this establishment. It has only been open for about 2 months. And it seems to be doing well! What brought us in was the loaded tots. Which have flaming hots on them, awesome. They also have unique wing flavors, which is fun. Their hot is pretty damn good. Oh, and also. You can sample as many beers as you like! They have a lot of different beers as well. I didn't see your typical domestic on tap. Pretty exciting stuff, since my hubs and i are into trying new beers out. Give they place a try! I love to go to places to watch the games and my usual place wasn't making the cut anymore. I tried this place because of the variety of foods that they offer and the drinks. We're pretty big on our football traditions and love finding a comfortable atmosphere to bring our kids. This is really the type of place you want to go to if you want to make your whole family happy. They have waffles, nachos, wings (of course) wide selection of drinks. I was super impressed by the TVs they had and that we can keep up with all the games while sitting at our table. I've heard that you can bring dogs to the outdoor seating and I'd love to come back and see if that's true. Another thing to mention is the pokestops in the area! Forever following reviews from SA Foodie and we decided to drive across town and try it! Walking in its so pretty and very hipster. I love the vibes. The staff was very friendly and has a decent beer menu. The food was absolutely to die for! Also we ordered fried pickles which were decent. I somewhat wished we would've ordered the tater tots with cheetos instead. We ordered the chicken and waffle meal along with pumpkin waffles. Coming from our picky 9 year old, he wouldn't stop eating. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I had ordered in a long time. This new birds & beer restaurant is delicious! It has a partial area of outdoor seating that is dog friendly. My doggo @waffles_the_wonder_dog approves! We got the buffalo chicken dip and it was perfect. The nuggets and wings were also amazing! The right amount of crispy and juicy. There are plenty of dips to choose from, which makes it even better. We had never been here and went in on a whim for lunch as we passed by. Cute little bar/diner style place. We sat at the bar and you can see that they have a variety of beers on tap and frozen drinks. I asked to sample the frozen watermelon rose' and it was very yummy and sweet! Chicken is for sure the main ingredient. Wings looked good, but we opted for sandwiches. They didn't disappoint. Took a little long to get the food, but everything was fresh and hot! I was in Texas visiting family. This place was right across the street from my hotel. Jordan was my waitress, she was the bomb.com. The hostess was friendly as well. I brought my toddler with me. They both made sure we were comfortable. I had to set at a high table with my toddler because no other tables were available. As soon as a table with smaller chairs was available, Jordan made the area available to me and my little one. Thank you!!! The atmosphere is great. The food was fantastic. I tried the chicken and waffles and it was the best I've had. The chicken was seasoned to perfection. The waffles were fluffy with a little crunch on the edges. The sauce that was drizzled over the waffles was chocolate. Them I had some marshmallow sauce on the side. I didn't even use the syrup. This was a great meal.
