Great food and great service!!!!! I'm not even a macaroni fan, but this was the best I ever had. I will definitely be coming back again.

Ordered takeout from here last week. I expected the sauce to be on the side but instead found that my strips were soaked in the sauce. The chicken was very tasty and clearly good quality. The macaroni and cheese looked good but wasn't great. It looked like they added velveeta or some other form of cheese sauce, just not my favorite. If you can eat there I'm sure it would be a great experience - local beers, open setting. For takeout- I'll probably opt for something else. read more

Talk about flavorful food! I wanted to get wings and I usually go to Pluckers, but I decided to look on YELP for a different wing spot in San Antonio. Gold feather popped up and the reviews were positive, the food in the pictures looked amazing, so I thought I'd give it a try. I got the loaded tots as a app and the jalapeño ranch wings as a entree. It was a great choice! The loaded tots had a great flavor combination and the wings were crisp and just right. On top of that the staff was very kind and answered any questions i had. I've been seeing this place for weeks on Yelp, so we thought we would give it a try. Very cool atmosphere. The music spoke to my music loving soul. This place was extremely expensive. 3 of us and a toddler and it was $75. That's ridiculous. Went with a vegetarian and we loved the loaded tots and the cauliflower. Ordered the "nachos" but it was just ok. No beans and it needed it. The vegetarian ordered Mac n cheese and it came loaded with bacon on top. Whomp whomp. Service was just ok. Not wowed. Husband ordered wings and said VERY GOOD. That was the reason we will be back. Visiting from out of town and craved wings. We're from Memphis so we're hard on wings, but this place has awesome wings. I had lemon pepper and my wife had Buffalo. Both were tasty and cooked crispy. The flavor was full. We had sweet potato fries and mac for sides which were good as well, although the Mac is a bit different from the norm. Children had chicken and waffle. Those strips are very tasty and they served us some type of creamy sweet sauce that was very good. Will eat here next time we visit. read more

Went to blanco rd. location on Mother's Day and was so disappointed of the service we received We dined in and was seated after 10 minutes but took 20 minutes for drinks and order to be taken. Then once order taken it took 45 to find out it would take 20 minutes for order to come out. We had to leave because we had movies tickets. Spoke to manager and she gave every excuse but never said next time you come we will give you a free appetizer or discount on the drinks we had to paid. My Mother's Day I was looking forward to some good wings and it was bust. Our server was slow. On top of that she was full of it. She didn't follow up with our order. When she came to tell us our order was next because there was a group before us, I let her know we had been waiting an hour at that point which seem to make her check on our order. Our order was ready because a minute after she walked into the kitchen she was back out carrying our food. When we received our food the tots and fries were cold and the chicken was warm. My sandwich was soggy. The food was decent. Wings were good. I'll give you that. Outside of the wings they need to figure a few things out with their menu. Our waitress was just making it up as she went. She was obvious in taking care of her "Caucasian customers". She shared her life story & was with them for 10 min talking. Anything they wanted she prioritized and got it out for them. While we were left waiting.. Yes we timed her because our food still was no where in site. All while this was happening Managment and the rest of the staff was yapping. This crew didn't care about their customers. They sure loved to talk and not check on their customers. read more

Wow! The wings could be some of the best wings I've ever had, huge portions too. Tried the lemon pepper, slap yo momma and tabasco honey all three were phenomenal and I'd highly recommend. Yelp if you're listening this platform needs the ability to rate places at 1/2 a star or zero stars. Getting to the review of gold feather.....so I went with my 2 kids and husband on a Tuesday evening. We checked in and took advantage of the free pickle appetizer and we also got the buffalo chicken dip. The pickles were alright nothing special to write home about and the dip was lukewarm at best. I definitely would not pay 9 bucks for the dip again. My daughter and I split the 20 wings and 2 sides combo, my son had the chicken bratwurst sandwich and my husband had the chicken bun me sandwich. The wings were average the bratwurst was ok I guess as my son didn't say anything about it. My husbands chicken sandwich was disgusting, he pulled a long black hair from his sandwich and got disgusted so he stopped eating. I mentioned the incident to the waitress so she would be aware. The next thing we know a manager named Steven comes to the table and apologizes for the hair and says he will take the sandwich off the bill. That was nice of him considering he didn't have to do that. We got our bill and it said the amount due was $67.65. When I handed over my card and was charged the amount charged was for $69.65. So we were charged an extra 2 dollars. Ordinarily it wouldn't have been a big deal however we didn't get the best service there was the hair in the food and then on top of it all we were charged wrong. So I tipped 2 dollars less to adjust for the wrong charge. In short please look at your receipts when you eat at this establishment. My family and I will not be back as there are other places that serve better tasting wings at a better price. read more
