Not only did we get an Angel juicer last fall for our office and get very helpful service, but Norm, one of the owners, spoke to us several times last week to help us out with our old Omega juicer that we are donating to someone, and helped me try to get parts for another juicer that i didn't buy there! He never got tired of all my questions even though he wasn't getting anything out of it! Other than the satisfaction of helping someone I guess. 大山行 aka Great Mountain Ginseng is an Asian health food store in Times Square that specializes…read moremainly in raw ginseng, various ginseng products/wholesale supplements, and other Chinese delicacies like bird's nest and cordyceps (a worm-like fungus... yea lol). One really cool fact is that they own their own ginseng farm in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario; they have been operating for over 30 years (since 1976!) and still going strong. The farm attracts many tourists every year to see first hand how the ginseng plant is grown :) But the main reason why I am review this is that my coworker has been raving about this in-house brand of Instant Milk Tea blended with 100% Ontario ginseng powder. She has been buying them as souvenirs to bring back to her home country, and her family and relatives love it. So I have decided to buy a box to try, and I have to say, it is very aromatic and flavourful. There are 10 sticks of instant mix powder in each box and all you need is 180ml of hot water per cup, give it a stir and enjoy :) The store is currently selling $8 per box or $15 for 2 boxes... not much of a deal but still good to have a box at home, just in case a milk tea craving hits lol.

Then one day I returned to the store and vitamin C was on the shelf. It was there ever since then. This is the kind of attention that both Joe and Harry afford their customers. I have been a customer for over 50 years and plan on being one for another 50 years God's willing. The prices compared to many other places are amazing. Whenever I am in a Mall or anywhere for that matter, I check out health foods prices and Evergreen Natural Foods on St.Clair ave W are comparably the most affordable.

I have been a customer of this store for quite some time, and in the last few months, I noticed on…read morethree separate occasions that the price tags on the same item were different. I advised them of this issue. I guess nothing was done, because I noticed the same thing a few months later, on two other occasions in this store. Recently, I had purchased my usual items here, and found at home when I looked closely at the receipt, that the price of one of the items had raised about 8 dollars, in just 2 weeks. So I called to ask why the price went up. As usual, the same miserable sounding, somewhat rude employee picked up the phone. I was given so many excuses, and was told if I wanted to speak to the owner, that I could only do so in two weeks, as he was away. The employee advised me I could get a refund, but I was still disappointed. I called the other evergreen location on St. Clair Ave, and was told the same item was 8 dollars cheaper. And I called another health food store, and the same vitamins were 6 dollars cheaper. I really hope that this store is not deliberately over pricing items, and hoping that customers won't notice. Either that, or the person pricing the items is continuously making mistakes, and that is really not good for business. I have been told by other people, that they are noticing the same problems with pricing at this store. Unfortunately, I was sort of going there out of convenience, and didn't bother checking prices elsewhere until now. Right after I called the other St Clair Ave Evergreen location, the same evergreen employee that I spoke to earlier from this location, called me back. She indicated that there was a human error when pricing these vitamins, and that the price was back to the original price, and I could come in to get my money back for the difference. Hmm ok lol. From now on, I will be paying close attention to the prices in this store, and perhaps start checking the prices of these products elsewhere. I would have given 3 stars for this issue, but I took a star off, because of the attitude I received from the employee that I spoke to over the phone, from this location. Also, some of the employees are not particularly helpful at this store, no one asks you if there is anything you need, and I always feel like I'm bothering them by asking questions. On one occasion, I went into this store and this same employee that I spoke to over the phone, was talking incessantly to another employee, while I had to wait to interrupt and ask for help. Would it also kill them to crack a smile every once in awhile, and say "hello" or "have a nice day?." I'm not saying they have to be nice everyday, we all have stuff we are dealing with in life, just every so often be a little helpful. Maybe also crack a joke. C'mon people, stop acting like zombies, live a little lol.

It is $9 cheaper than the plastic bottle. Dr. Brothers is the best! I have been using it for years. Whenever I have bought another brand of liquid soap I am soon reminded that Dr. Bronzer's is the superior brand.

I actually bought a himalayan salt lamp here. It was a decent price and the lady manning the store was nice & friendly. It's not the largest store but prices here were a less than Whole Foods.
