Had a quick takeout order for the first time last week. Soups: Wonton Egg Drop: Not bad, lots of wontons Hot & Sour: Lots of tofu, mildly spicy. Appetizer: Steamed Dumplings: Not bad, doughy, decent filling. Average for a Chinese takeout. Noodles: Shrimp Ho Fun: Lots of flat noodles, onions, small shrimp Singapore Mei Fun: Pretty good, small to medium size shrimp, some chicken and pork too. Mildly spicy. Entrees: Mapo Tofu: Thick brown sauce, large firm tofu, peas, carrots. It was fine and similar to other corner store mapo tofu. A little spicy. Shredded Pork in Garlic Sauce: This is sliced pork with mixed vegetables in a brown sauce. I'm still looking for the "Chinese" version of this (Yu Xiang Rou Si ) and only occasionally get that. Ironically, some Chinese restaurants consider that "Americanized" too and put it in the "American Chinese" portion of the menus while others have it in their "authentic" menus. What we had was OK but I would choose another dish next time. Tofu with Vegetables: I tried several times to order General Tso's Tofu but wound up with this. I would have gladly paid more (I see it on the Specials menu). Again, it wasn't bad, it was just different from what was expected. Location: Drexelbrook Drive, near the Holiday Inn / Drexel Hill. Service: Friendly and quick checkout. Parking: Ample, in a strip mall lot. Return: I was surprised I had never been here before. The go to for Chinese food in Drexel Hill. My daughter loves their sesame chicken and plain lo mein. I usually just get their dumplings, crab ragoons and spring rolls. Their wonton soup is not super oily like other places. Staff is friendly. read more

I finally go through to speak with someone from this restaurant at 5:12 pm. The first couple times, the line was busy and the person hung up on me. When I finally got through, i placed my order and was told 15-20 minutes for delivery. I assumed since it was raining they were a bit behind. Called back at 6:21pm and the person i spoke with questioned if I ordered over the phone or online which I told her i ordered over the phone and she seemed to have no order for me. I work in Springfield, and honestly its so hard to find a good Chinese food spot. I did an online search for "Chinese restaurants around me" and Dragon II popped up. SO where do I begin....? I called to place an order for delivery- and thank GOD they delivered in my area of DelCo. Ok back to the food. I ordered from the lunch specials menu, which is very affordable. The lunch comes with wonton soup (which is pork) and pork fried rice. You can substitute the soup for an egg roll/shrimp roll. I think it was $.50 extra. The delivery time (lunch time) was like a 30 minutes from the time I placed my order. My order had exactly what I ordered and they gave up lots of soy, hot mustard and duck sauce, which I appreciate. What I ordered: -Shrimp & Broccoli w/ white rice -Chicken lomein w/ white rice -Sweet/Sour chicken w/ white rice -General Tso's Chicken w/ pork fried rice -Wonton soup -Shrimp egg rolls *The wonton soup was a little salty BUT it wasn't overcooked. I would definitely order it again. *The shrimp egg rolls were normal; nothing special. One thing I appreciate- they weren't drench in oil. I would order them again *Sweet/Sour Chicken- it was good/ok. The chicken wasn't hard, the sauce is a little too sweet. But its sweet and sour chicken, lol. *Shrimp and Broc- very good. The broccoli wasn't soggy, the sauce was ok. The shrimp were an ok size. I would order this ok. *Chicken Lomein- I love good lomein. Not a lot of restaurants can make good lomein. Today I ordered 2 orders of soup. The person who took my order over the phone was nice. That's the only positive I can give. When I got there, there was a woman preparing the food. I said hello, she looked at me and kept working. Okay, may she's focused. So I wait for her to finish packing the food. I then said hello again and she proceeds to actively ignore me as she prepares another order. Someone came in from the back, peeks at me and keeps working in the back. Amazed at the level of rudeness, I decide to give them 4 mins. Not only is the women 3 ft away from me and ignoring me for all 4 mins, but she came to the counter, refilled the stapler, looks at me, and finishes her work.. I walked out! About an hour later the restaurant calls, and asks if I'm going to pick up my order, I told her I was there and what happened, she then interrupts me and says "okay okay, goodbye! My BF and I were looking for a new place to order Chinese, since we typically order from the same place, which is little basil in Morton. This is our third time ordering, and the first two times they weren't bad. This time it was a literal nightmare. Ordered sweet and sour chicken and white rice. Rice tasted like cardboard and the chicken breading was soggy and falling off. Not edible. My boyfriend ordered chow mein. If you Google chow mein, there is noodles with that dish. He was sent container of steamed vegetables and cardboard white rice. I called the store to let them know, and I was handed off to a manager who gaslight me into trying to believe that chow mein did not come with noodles. And tried to explain that I meant order lo mein. My entire life chow mein has been stirfry noodles. Lo mein is boil noodles. So unless Google is wrong.... Aside from the gaslighting from the 'manager', no offer of a refund or to make it right just told me to purchase lo mein. read more

Look man if you need a quick fix of Chinese food I wouldn't fault you for eating here. The chicken teriyaki sticks are amazing but most of the dishes don't live up to the price you pay for them. Since they're located in the Drexelbrook apartment complexes most people just go here because of that but there are better options outside the complex. Also, I don't trust chinese restaurants that aren't freezing cold inside when you go in. Don't ask me why, but its not cold in there. read more

So being Chinese and previously owning my own Chinese take-out, I'm pretty particular about the fast food Chinese restaurants I order from. I can honestly say, definitely the best Chinese take-out joint in the local area. I have been searching for a place to order from for years now and finally found the place. So I have ordered about 3 times so far and every time the shrimp egg rolls were a must. I usually judge take-outs by their shrimp rolls, don't ask me why but I'm picky about them. Seasoned perfectly with nice amount of shrimp and the egg roll skin has a nice fresh crunch (you can tell when the oil is bad, just doesn't taste the same). The chicken wings are pretty good too. My fiancé always gets the chicken and broccoli and always devours it. This time around I got shrimp in lobster sauce and it was pretty darn yummy. Oh and lastly, Chinese take-out employees/ owners are ALWAYS rude and stingy with sauces. Nope, not at Dragon II. I am not sure it is the worst tasing mush food Chinese food I have had, but the price probably pushed it to the worst. I order the general tso's shrimp with extra shrimp ($2), broccoli ($1) and onions($1). I got a lot of onion, 3 pieces of broccoli and 12 shrimp. TOTAL $22! The shrimp was mushy and the sauce didn't have any flavor. Fried rice, rice was extra and fried was even more.. I think it was $5(ish) and MEH... No Flavor. Crab Rangoon's had maybe a teaspoon at the most of filling, NO FLAVOR AGAIN. Egg roll no filling, I wish I would have taken a picture of it before I threw it away. Honestly it had 2 shreds of cabbage sticking out of the middle. I did not have the wonton soup I presented yet. Total was $36. Not good. read more
