Whether you're there for sushi or one of their other dishes, it's easy to see why this place is so popular. A special shoutout to our waiter, Cal. He was exceptional. Friendly, respectful, attentive, and always seemed to know exactly when to check in without being overbearing. He made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal and genuinely helped make the experience even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. We'll definitely be coming back, and we hope to have Cal as our waiter again!

We also decided to a variety of their appetizers: Yakayori - dry Chicken katsu - even drier Takoyaki - ok but comes in set of 3 not the listed 2 Steak teriyaki- ok They also have a secret menu, which is no longer so secret thanks to this Yelper who has posted it. The Asian Tacos were pretty good. The wasabi tako is raw octopus and kind of reminded me of the sannakji that I had last week (except it's not moving). The secret menu also has kimchi and various ramens. For dessert tried the banana tempura. It was fine but no wow factor. Note They have more ice cream than that listed on the menu such as Mango and cookies and cream and another one I forget the name to. Anyway Just ask. Staff today was awesome. Waitress was Stephanie and she was training another. Both were top notch.

When we arrived for dinner there were several diners, but it wasn't overly crowded. Plus, it was happy hour...perfect timing. Our waitress was very helpful with helping us decide. We finally decided on the baked mussels and fried calamari from the happy hour menu. Our main course was the deluxe platter. Absolutely amazing. Some of the pieces on the platter are chosen by the chef. The platter consisted of salmon, yellowtail, tuna, sea bream, and red snapper -- the sea bream took the show! Very robust flavor! The red snapper, a close second. Everything was so good. Very fresh selection. Can't wait to visit again.

Everything was absolutely delicious. The spice level was just right, the food was packed with flavor, and every bite had us planning what we'd order next time. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. As a bonus, my kids arrived with zero chopstick skills and somehow left looking like seasoned pros. Meanwhile, I was still trying to keep up. Thankfully, our server came to the rescue with patience, encouragement, and fantastic service that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Great food, great service, and happy kids? That's a winning combination in my book. 10/10, highly recommend. Don't scroll past this one--you deserve the ramen.

This restaurant was disappointing. The food I ordered looked nothing like the pictures that were…read moreadvertised. The steak was not cooked well, and the rice was not actually fried. It seemed like they simply mixed soy sauce into plain rice and called it fried rice. I also ordered the tuna, but it was so underwhelming that I ended up taking it home and searing it myself to make it more enjoyable. The one highlight of the meal was the soup it was excellent and easily the best part of the experience. Because of that, I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars instead of 1. However, considering the price I paid, the overall quality and presentation did not meet my expectations, and I would not return based on this experience.

This time I got the spicy shrimp roll, and it definitely hit fresh and flavorful. I've also had the California roll before and another roll I can't remember the name of, but those were really good too. The fried rice, though, was a bit disappointing. I ordered the chicken fried rice, and the chicken itself was really bland with almost no flavor. I ended up adding soy sauce to the whole thing, which helped, but it still wasn't anything special. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the sushi, but I'd probably skip the fried rice next time.

I showed our waitress and she said well of course there's a bone because they only use whole fresh eel. Bruh. I mean it's $12 for 3 pieces of tuna sashimi. I'd expect the food to be fresh at those prices. Then she quickly snatched it out of my hand and left. I did hear a soft sorry as she spun around. She went off to tend to other tables. But later in the meal I did hear her talking in the back with a man in Chinese about how a customer was complaining about a small bone in l their food. Guess she doesn't know I speak Chinese. At the end of the meal, I asked our waitress if she was the owner. She said no, quickly followed by a "the owner is not here today". Then I asked whether the owner was Chinese. We ordered a mix of dishes--A5 wagyu beef tataki, the Philly Twist roll, Dragon roll, Kraken roll, and chicken teriyaki--and every single one delivered. The standout was definitely the beef tataki. The A5 wagyu was incredibly tender and full of flavor. It's one of those dishes you slow down for because you don't want it to end. Even the chicken teriyaki was solid--juicy, not overly sweet, and cooked perfectly. Service was friendly, timing was smooth, and the whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. We'll definitely be back.

I forgot the menu names of some but the fried tofu was fantastic, the angry snapper was darned near perfection. The salmon app thingy was so good. My wife thought there was some spice to it, but I didn't detect it. Kimchi Brussel sprouts were very unique and very good. I have to use corporate speak for this because I don't want to detract from the dining experience, but ambience is loud. I don't know how you correct that. A lot of reviews have said Sushi Rebel is "romantic". I don't know what planet you're from or what time of day you are, but it's anything but. The place is full of Exxon and HP employees. That's not at all a bad thing, but it isn't romantic when adjacent tables of friends are talking about meetings and projects. If you DO work at a nearby business, it's a great place for dinner after work. Service could use some work. It was our anniversary. We noted it on the reservation and the confirmation. We weren't greeted as such nor was it ever acknowledged. I was looking for free dessert or anything, but some acknowledgment would make it nice. The server forgot our tea with dessert and one of the rolls that that was part of dinner. So, really nice place, but loud and not romantic. That being said, I'd still return.
