This Golden Chick has to be the worst location I've ever visited and I will never return due to their incompetence, crap food, and the management are a bunch of liars. My husband and I ordered food from here earlier this week and the entire meal was ruined. My wicked wings were cold, my husbands tenders were old AND cold, and the gravy was literally WATER!!! Called back up there to speak to a manager, who's name is Trinity, and spoke with her about the bad service. She advised my husband to write her name on the receipt, put refund at the top, and bring it in. He told her that he wouldn't come back that same day and she said no problem. Long story short, he goes back up there about 20 mins ago only to be told by a different manager that he needed to come back that same day and that our card information was no longer in the system, therefore she can't issue a refund but can make the food over again. He told her he didn't want the food but to just refund our money. Needless to say she wouldn't do it and we are pissed! Oh! She first said he needed to come back that same day, then she said "Well you have to come back within 3 days to get the refund." Which one is it? Was she just making up the rules as she went along? Sounds like it to me. That's ok, because I know how to and will find out who the general/district/regional manager is and contact them. One girl in particular always seems to be in a bad mood. There aren't many people who love their job, but customer service is a big deal these days. I got the fruit as one of our sides and we couldn't even identify what fruit was in there besides the pineapple and grapes. The chicken its really greasy, and the mac n cheese had no flavor. The last straw was when I arrived at the drive through at 10:50pm, and by the time they had served one car and I moved up, it was 11:05pm and they refused to serve me. I pulled through the drive through & after waiting 15 freaking minutes to get to the SPEAKER BOX, i order my family's food. I get through 2 out of my 6 orders & the girl totals the order & does not get back on the speaker to complete my order. After being EXTREMELY frustrated, i pull out of line & walk inside. I tell the girl that i had been in line for quite sometime & that the girl never finished my order. The girl looks at me with the most dumb face ever & asks me what do you want? The manager looks just as dumb. He can tell I'm very frustrated & is looking like he has no clue what he is even doing for his job!!!!! I finally get my food. I placed my order, put my money on the counter, and then a man walked up and asked to buy a drink. She actually suspended my transaction to sell him a drink. I picked up my money and walked out. She actually looked shocked. It seemed she had no idea what she did wrong, so I called the store to tell her manager. At the end, I said, "Between consistently half raw chicken or wrong orders and now this, it seems you only hire fools." He proceeded to berate me for using the word fool rather than being horrified and apologizing. I've put up with poor service, wrong orders and literally half cooked chicken, but this was the final straw. Eat there at your own risk. I will never be back. We were so exciting to see a fried chicken place open in our neighborhood. But quite the disappointment. Their customer service is exactly 0. Their order takers just look at you like you're stupid and offer no help or even a common courtesy of saying thank you or how may I help you. Twice we have ordered the chicken strips with honey mustard dipping sauce and we're told it's in the box"". It's NOT IN THE BOX!!!! I don't know about you but I find it difficult to eat chicken strips without some kind of dipping sauce. If I ever return to this establishment "it's in the box " won't do for me. They are putting it in my hand. I've called and complained to the manager and of course he said he was not the manager on duty although it had only been 5 minutes. I don't care if you don't want to be there. It's your job. Be grateful that you have it and treat people right.
