Worst Chinese Restaurant EVER! The Food is TASTELESS! Most Asian food is full of flavor. You won't get that here. Worst Chinese food I've ever had!! They are very dismissive of the customer. The staff does not speak a word of English, therefore when I requested fried rice with no veggies only egg, I was presented with plain rice. I ordered pepper steak, my tray was full of peppers & onions with very little steak. I ordered fried noodles & literally got @ 10 sticks in a bag that would generally go on a salad. I tried to explain my order, the staff didn't understand & called someone. This person spoke English. I explained the situation & told him it's hard to explain my order if they didn't speak English & if he could come to the restaurant. If I could give zero stars I would! Something has changed here and not for the better! We ordered take out. Called the order in for pick up at 5:30, they took our card number. Arrived at 5:30, didn't have the card number or the order ready. They finally found the order, I wish they hadn't. We got Egg drop soup (this was a little better than ok) , Orange chicken (absolutely the worst I have ever had. It was soggy and no orange flavor or sauce), broccoli beef (literally had to pull the shoe leather beef out of my mouth and throw it away and again no flavor), pork fried rice (had maybe 4 pieces of tough pork), and eggrolls (soggy and not much flavor to these either). This place used to be good but this was truly awful. Another side note...the place was dirty. We spent $66 on food that was barely edible. Save yourself some money and go elsewhere. read more

This was a great place to dine in once upon a time ago. Now it's not, one upon a time ago you could see into the kitchen. They have since poorly closed it up. The inside of the restaurant is really not dine in friendly at all. We ordered cashew chicken, yet there were no cashews in it. The Kung Pow chicken was just okay. Ordered the sesame chicken, rice, and egg rolls. The sesame chicken was very mushy and it made the chicken taste of nothing. Undersides of each chicken had little to no sauce on it, and all of the chicken were stuck together and coming apart. The egg rolls insides were all a gross smoothie of mushed vegetables and grease. Instantly caused indigestion, made me regret my life decisions of getting cheap take out. The rice by far was the worst part of the experience. The "white" rice was a light brown hue and black bits due to a dirty wok or just dirty rice. The rice looked like it was never washed, at least that's how it tasted. I opened the rice box smelled like an old dirty plaster wall, and the condensation in the box was also brown and sticky. The food was awful, I would advise go get some Panda Express. read more

I have been going here for many Years and they have always been consistent. Food is delivered promptly and always hot and fresh. They cook to order. They do not scoop your dish out of a vat of precooked and stored food. I've watched them personally cook the food as orders come in. Could be a little cleaner but I can understand for the most part, they've been there for a very long time (I'm talking since 2005- all the girls in our office used to order lunch to be delivered to premier pigments, which is no longer at randol mill and 360 to give you an idea if how long I've been eating there!) This place is disgusting. Save your time and money. Upon walking into the dining area it looks dirty but wanted to give them a try. The food was AWFUL. Now typically my fellow yelpers do not steer me wrong, this place however, was a total bust. I ordered the general tsao chicken. It comes with fried rice and an egg roll for about 9 bucks. The egg roll was more of a spring roll and was the best part of the meal. It was crunchy and fresh and perfect. The chicken was not good at all. For starters it was cold. There was no reason for my meal to be cold from my less than 10 min drive home. The flavor was terribly bland for an otherwise flavorful, spicy dish and the portions are very small for the price. 2 stars for the spring roll and the nice young lady working the cash register. The fast food of Chinese food. They'll prepare an otherwise 20 minute dish in 5 minutes, they'll get your order wrong, and once you eat it you'll wish you'd chosen any place but this. Orange chicken, orange beef, and chicken wings were all awful with strange after tastes. I have been a customer of Golden Chopsticks since the 1980s. I have three favorite dishes: chicken chow mein, barbeque pork fried rice, and egg rolls. The chicken chow mein has no noodles, nor do I care. All I know is that it's got a bit if a garlic kick, crisp-tender celery, bean sprouts, carrots, and onions with lots of chunks of chicken thigh meat in a savory sauce. I've never found any other restaurant that can compare to this dish. The portion is so large, I can make 3 mea,s from it! The BBQ pork fried rice has large slices of char siu pork, shredded carrots, egg, green onion, bean sprouts, and probably other stuff. I don't analyze it...I eat it! Delicious! I can make 3 or 4 meals from one order. The egg rolls are slender, crunchy, and flavorful. The egg roll skins are thin and crispy, covering a flavorful vegetable mixture. There may be some meat in them, I'm not sure, as I don't analyze 'em...I just eat 'em. Best egg rolls anywhere! The restaurant is definitely not fancy, and we always order for takeout. The food is so piping hot when we get home, that we have wait a bit for the food to cool down to begin eating. For what it's worth, I definitely recommend this place! If I could give zero stars I would! I asked were they open for dine in the guy at the register said yes! Then he just stood there. My next question was should I just seat myself? He said yes again. So I went and sat down. 8 mins later he says you have to place your order upfront and then have your seat. I just said ok, sorry about that even though he should've already said that. So I placed my order, a meal for $18 which was the total for adding sweet tea. He didn't give me the cup or tea so I went and sat back down. 30 mins later the guy brings my tea. I sip out of it from a straw in a styrofoam cup once to taste it. It was the nastiest thing I've sipped in my life.. so I politely went up to the front to ask was it ok to exchange the tea for another beverage because the taste wasn't good and I didn't know what was in the cup. The guy flat out said no! With attitude! I asked why, he said because you drank out of it. I said well that was the purpose of getting it, but I only sipped it. I opened the lid to show him it was still filled to the rim. He told me I was going to drink it and he wasn't going to exchange it. I asked for a manager, he said he's busy. I said are you even going to check, he spoke in his language and the guy cooking responded in the same language. The man then said again he's busy. I then just asked for my money back for the entire meal eventhough they were still preparing it, because that was just beyond rude for him to treat me like that. Especially, after I've been waiting 38 mins patiently in total to be tended to. Note there wasn't anyone else waiting to be serviced! Now that I asked for my money back, he says oh go ahead and exchange your drink. I said I no longer want to eat here because of how you have treated me. He said then you don't get your money back! I said oh you're going to give me my money because it is rightfully mine, you can't deny me that. He said you want your money back huh? He spoke the language again, the guy responded... then he counts out 15 dollars, after I've paid 18!! He says we'll give you the money back for the food but you won't get it for the tea! I asked well can I get the 15 and a beverage out of the cooler? He says no! You get the drink you have to stay and eat! If you take the 15 you keep your tea and leave! I just said given me the 15 because this is not fair! I've been cheated out of my money even if it's only a little! It was mine! So I left empty handed no tea no drink no food! Only a partial amount of my money. I called back to the store a few moments later and said I will be leaving a review for the service I received today! His response was, "I DON'T CARE WE ALREADY DEALT WITH YOU" then he hung up in my face!! The four of them in there were working together talking in their language plotting on how to handle the situation. (2 old men, 1 old lady, and 1 young man) IT WAS TERRIBLE! He looked as if he was getting upset to the point as if I would've moved wrong he would have attempted to fight me when he was yelling at me in the store! Completely unprofessional, I don't recommend eating here! I definitely won't be stepping foot in there again!!! All of that over a mystery drink!! Hopefully karma plays it's part soon!!! read more
