Note that this is a review for a weekday lunch. Can't speak to how everything is during the chaos of the weekend. It had been a long time since we've been to ABC Seafood and I'm not so sure why, but this place is definitely back on our radar. Each time we've been here on a weekday, it's been completely empty, which at first made us a bit weary, until the food came. All of the dim sum was made fresh, so each and every item was perfectly crispy and perfectly steamed. On the flip side of that, it can take some time to get your food out, so be prepared to wait a little bit. Wanted to call out the steamed rice rolls in particular, as those tasted freshly made and definitely different from all your "typical" dim sum spots. The roll was perfectly chewy and light. Service was alright each time we went, but again, this was a weekday and the place was essentially empty each time. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a solid dim sum spot in the area. read more

My favorite dim sum restaurant in DFW. They have the shumai with quail egg on top which is my favorite! They also have some classic Chinese dishes that are delicious. It's been a long time since I've revisted. Heard they renovated/updated so decided to give it a try again. I'm glad to see that it's improved quite a bit! Glad that I don't have to drive outside of Arlington to get a quick dim sum craving anymore. The carts coming around can be a little slow but that's a given if it's busy. If something isn't on the carts for dim sum, you can place an order in (be ready to wait 15-20+min though). Workers are always nice. I have eaten at the ABC Seafood restaurant in Los Angeles China town and was thrilled to know there is one right here in Arlington. Dim Sum on Sunday with my son was absolutely fantastic. We came here for business dinner and luckily, there was complimentary parking space in that plaza. Ambiance was family friendly and accommodating. Servers were friendly and helpful. I live in the area of Arlington, and this place has been our go-to dim sum spot for a long time, and it's not going to stop now. We haven't been here for over 6 years and decided to give it a try, since it was renovated in 2024. Upon entering we were seated right away on a Saturday afternoon. This was great. I noticed though after 30 minutes of our table sitting down they started to get really busy. We came at the right time. We were greeted right away by our server and the ladies with the dim sum cart. The items look so fresh and yummy. We grabbed Chinese broccoli, har how, shumai, sticky rice, crispy shrimp ball, and we ordered salad and pepper squid. The dim sum was very delicious and made fresh. We also ordered the crab fried rice. Omg it was a big portion of rice with pieces of five mess crab that was fried. This was enough for 6 people. We couldn't finish it and had to take it to go. This has been our favorite dim sum restaurant for over 10+ years. The ladies have always been so hospitable and sweet to our family and the food is always delicious. They renovated their restaurant in summer of 2024 and re-opened their restaurant recently. It looks immaculate -- the restaurant looks much cleaner and brighter. Service and food quality is still just as good as before and the aunties are still here! Can't wait to come back more often! We went on New Year's Day and it was super busy. Have been going here for dim sum since I was a kid. This is definitely my top choice for dim sum, service is great, everyone is very attentive. Food is fresh and during dim sum times you pick off the cart. One of my favorite things to order from the menu is the orange bbq beef ribs!! We have been going here for many years and they just remodeled the interior. We still love the green bean and tofu and the orange beef ribs. There are items I like (house fried rice, pork turnovers, etc.) and items I don't like (egg tart, shrimp ball, etc.) but the one thing that always has me coming back regardless of my experience or the soggy food is the orange glazed short ribs!!!! We LOVE this place. Service is fast and efficient. The huge Lazy Susan in the middle of the table is so awesome. It helps with all the different dumplings and dim sum ordered. We all ordered different things and split it all. This is the best option. You get to taste everything and you get the best bang for your buck. All the food was fresh and hot. Walking in, I recognized most of the staff so that was reassuring. The former owner was missed though. He was always nice to our family whenever we came in. The dim sum here is pretty solid. The siu mai, har gow, and shrimp rice paper rolls are our go-tos. My personal favorites though are the sticky rice and congee. Ordering off the menu, we always get the orange beef and the garlic snow pea leaves. I like that they offer different hot teas and not just jasmine. The service is a hit and miss, but we've gotten used to it. For the most part, it's fine. The place is big enough to easily accommodate large parties.
