Note that this is a review for a weekday lunch. Can't speak to how everything is during the chaos of the weekend. It had been a long time since we've been to ABC Seafood and I'm not so sure why, but this place is definitely back on our radar. Each time we've been here on a weekday, it's been completely empty, which at first made us a bit weary, until the food came. All of the dim sum was made fresh, so each and every item was perfectly crispy and perfectly steamed. On the flip side of that, it can take some time to get your food out, so be prepared to wait a little bit. Wanted to call out the steamed rice rolls in particular, as those tasted freshly made and definitely different from all your "typical" dim sum spots. The roll was perfectly chewy and light. Service was alright each time we went, but again, this was a weekday and the place was essentially empty each time. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a solid dim sum spot in the area. read more

My favorite dim sum restaurant in DFW. They have the shumai with quail egg on top which is my favorite! They also have some classic Chinese dishes that are delicious. It's been a long time since I've revisted. Heard they renovated/updated so decided to give it a try again. I'm glad to see that it's improved quite a bit! Glad that I don't have to drive outside of Arlington to get a quick dim sum craving anymore. The carts coming around can be a little slow but that's a given if it's busy. If something isn't on the carts for dim sum, you can place an order in (be ready to wait 15-20+min though). Workers are always nice. What a great experience in every way. We came here for business dinner and luckily, there was complimentary parking space in that plaza. Ambiance was family friendly and accommodating. Servers were friendly and helpful. We haven't been here for over 6 years and decided to give it a try, since it was renovated in 2024. Upon entering we were seated right away on a Saturday afternoon. This was great. I noticed though after 30 minutes of our table sitting down they started to get really busy. We came at the right time. We were greeted right away by our server and the ladies with the dim sum cart. The items look so fresh and yummy. We grabbed Chinese broccoli, har how, shumai, sticky rice, crispy shrimp ball, and we ordered salad and pepper squid. The dim sum was very delicious and made fresh. We also ordered the crab fried rice. Omg it was a big portion of rice with pieces of five mess crab that was fried. This was enough for 6 people. We couldn't finish it and had to take it to go. Finally back to this place after several years. They have made improvements inside the restaurant, I am happy to note. The inside looks spacious, tank is gone. New decor. Service is about the same, I see familiar faces except for the owner. He is no longer at the register. Food tastes great - we had dimsum faves like shumai, bean curd with pork, pork bun, fun roll ! This has been our favorite dim sum restaurant for over 10+ years. The ladies have always been so hospitable and sweet to our family and the food is always delicious. They renovated their restaurant in summer of 2024 and re-opened their restaurant recently. It looks immaculate -- the restaurant looks much cleaner and brighter. Service and food quality is still just as good as before and the aunties are still here! Can't wait to come back more often! We went on New Year's Day and it was super busy. Decided to try this spot for their traditional dim sum and it met our expectations. The restaurant has tons of seating which was a plus on a busy Sunday morning. The staff service was excellent, another pleasant surprise in Chinese restaurants, they made multiple rounds by our table and made sure we had enough food (not in a pushy way). I just ate there today with my family, and the lady wearing the yellow and apron today forced a 5 person gratuity knowing only 4 people were seated. Now we usually tip 25% but the fact that they were greedy enough to add one extra person for the mandatory 16% tip was absolutely scandalous. We took back our tip got the refund and left. There were only a few tables seated and we were one of the last small families to sit. The place is a little dated, but you can tell they've been serving food for large groups a long while. I didn't inquire however it appeared they can accommodate large parties (when permitted again after the pandemic). Their food was pretty good; presented as dim sum would be, in small plates and steamy. Three of us had enough for five people. That's how much we craved, since we hadn't splurged on dim sum since four years ago or so. Good location in a plaza with a lots of parking. Walking in, I recognized most of the staff so that was reassuring. The former owner was missed though. He was always nice to our family whenever we came in. The dim sum here is pretty solid. The siu mai, har gow, and shrimp rice paper rolls are our go-tos. My personal favorites though are the sticky rice and congee. Ordering off the menu, we always get the orange beef and the garlic snow pea leaves. I like that they offer different hot teas and not just jasmine. The service is a hit and miss, but we've gotten used to it. For the most part, it's fine. The place is big enough to easily accommodate large parties. Many years have gone by, we decided to come back to give it a try this past weekend. We were seated immediately and yet again we had to wave at a server to get our drinks.
