If you are looking for an amazing meal...Ocean is the spot for you. The food is delicious and ready in a flash! The building is old, but they always have a crowd because people know where to go for great food! Come out and enjoy a great meal with their awesome staff.

We had a craving for some Chinese food and got a lot of recommendations for this place. It's very hole in the wall authentic. Everyone we encountered was polite just felt a little rushed to order but no big deal. It was out first time there and we didn't get to see the entire menu. We just ordered the basics. We will be back to try different entrees! We started with egg rolls and they were delicious! Nicely fried and fresh!! We ordered combination fried rice, beef lo mein, and pork lo mein. Every dish was flavorful. Great Chinese food!!

Ocean Chinese Seafood restaurant is serving classic family style Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine in a quick friendly and tasty environment. We came through on a Sunday afternoon and sat at one of the many family style circular tables and browsed the menu deciding on what to order from there extensive menu. We decided to go with the classic family Vietnamese style food and ordered a little bit of everything. We had the sweet and sour catfish soup, stir fried veggies, steamed clams, and braised catfish in clay pot. The food came out in no time and was looking exquisite! They also served a massive bowl of steamed jasmine rice to compliment your meal. The food was tasty indeed and it satisfied my craving. The flavors were spot on and the food was made with lots of love. The only downfall in this amazing experience I had was the amount of MSG being used. My mouth started feeling really dry and I became super thirsty and sleepy. Overall this place was great and the food was spectacular. The customer service was quick and fast and provided service with a smile. Ill definitely be back in the future to try more comfort food.

The food here is very reminiscent of the small mom and pop places up north-servers come around with carts full of items you didn't realize you NEEDED: shrimp rice rolls, pork and chive dumplings, the crispiest egg rolls you've ever had and if you're feeling adventurous-marinated chicken feet. Went with my picky mom who enjoyed all of it. Love the variety, the kindness and patience of our servers and cleanliness of the restaurant.

Ocean Chinese Seafood is a bit of a misnomer, because the non-seafood menu items are just as good, if not better! The beef brisket and tendon hotpot was so good! The meat melted like butter. I wasn't that enthused with the seafood dish I tried, the Triple Delight. The flavor was okay but I wasn't personally a fan of how the protein was cooked, which resulted in texture issues for me.

Always good food! Lo Mein is good and they have great lunch specials and soups. They do a lot of take out business.

I've passed by this place a few times but never really had a chance to try it out. It's tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza and is a little unassuming. I was pleasantly surprised by everything! They have both regular authentic Chinese dishes and also dim sum which is available for lunch and dinner. The star of the dinner was definitely the crab fried rice, although the duck was not far behind. In summary every dish was cooked nicely with lots of seasoning. Great duck, crab, rice, and the few dim sum plates we ordered were great as well! I wish this place was closer to me so I could go more often!

Christmas Eve leaving a friends home, my family was hungry. My husband had this place bookmarked and suggested we stop by. We arrived about 90 mins before closing. Thé service was lacking but the food both taste and temperature were on point. I wasn't hungry so I only skimmed the menu and my husband did all the ordering. He ordered shrimp & brocoli as well as shrimp fried rice. They didn't have any non-pork appetizer options which is a huge NO GO. No veggie rolls, veggie dumplings nothing just pork options and chicken. I would return as I would like to actually look at the menu and order something myself when I'm actually hungry. My husband and boys enjoyed their food thoroughly.

We came here after going to Six Flags which is a 10 to 15 minute drive. This place does get crowded as we came here at around 7:45pm. Unfortunately, this place is not the cleanest in the world as the carpet is really dirty and the tables take time to clean up and has that old dirty feeling to this. This place is small, but you can hold a banquet here if needed. Believe it or not the bathrooms are actually clean and remodeled. We ordered the following 1. Orange Beef 2. Black Bean Oysters 3. Beef dried chow fun 4. Black bean clams 5. Green Vegetable, I can not recall the name The food overall is good. The orange beef was a little on the salty side. Prices are a little overpriced as each dish as around $15 dollars on average and the sizes were not too big compared to other Chinese restaurants I have been too. Service was alright. I enjoyed the food, but I think we will try other places as well.

I would definitely consider this one of the more authentic Chinese restaurant places, for starters look at the size of the rice bowl they gave us... it's enough for a small army. They didn't seem very busy when we stopped by for dinner during the weekday. The food came out super quick and 3 dishes was more than enough for us 4 girls. They have a decent selection of BBQ meats to go if you want good Chinese BBQ but don't want to sit down for dine in!

Ordered the orange beef to-go based off reviews. Halfway through eating food a bug/roach that had been cooked with the beef. Will not be going back.

I would rather choose ABC Seafood or The Pearl over Kowloon if you're in the Arlington area. The restaurant has plenty of tables. Service is quick, almost too quick. I went on a Sunday around 1pm. But the day I went, there was less than 10 tables and the ladies with the carts were eyeing our table every few seconds. This might sound nice but then I got too nervous to look around anymore. I just like to take in my environment while I'm eating. The food quality was sub par. Everything was dry, tough, almost stale. The dim sum was left in the carts longer than most people would like. The taste of each dish was decent though. The texture of each dim sum dish really turned me off so that alone would not have me returning back.

It's a charming "hole-in-the-wall" place that reminded me of home, and it was noticeably clean. I'll definitely be back for more. What I Loved First off, the fried rice had that perfect dark hue it's supposed to have, and I was thrilled that peas and carrots were excluded. The portion size was incredibly generous - you get a lot for your money. I also really appreciated that the lady who helped me was upfront about them not having red pepper packets or sweet and sour sauce. Room for Improvement While I enjoyed my meal, there are a few things to note. The STL-style fried rice isn't actually on the main menu; you have to know they make it and ask for it, which seems a bit odd and makes me wonder why they don't advertise it more. And though I appreciated the heads-up about the missing condiments, they really need to stock red pepper packets and sweet and sour sauce. Duck sauce is a decent substitute, but red pepper is a must for this kind of dish. My rice also lacked bean sprouts and green onions, which was a disappointment. I'd recommend skipping their crab rangoon and homemade sweet and sour sauce; neither was very good. Finally, I ordered two large chicken fried rice orders and asked for no eggs in one, but both orders came without eggs, even though only one was marked "no eggs." Overall, it's a promising spot for St. Louis-style fried rice, and I'm looking forward to seeing these minor issues addressed

I believed the online hype about the St. Louis-style rice, so I decided to give this place a try…read more It's located in a shopping strip next to a barbershop and a salon. I ordered the St. Louis rice combo with an egg roll, Kung Pao chicken, and chicken wings. Appetizers: The egg roll was okay -- I'd give it a 3/5. The chicken wings were also just okay and a little greasy -- 3/5. Kung Pao Chicken: It was spicy, but very bland overall. I'm used to a darker, richer sauce, but this one was very light and didn't have much flavor -- 1/5. They do give you a generous portion, though. St. Louis-Style Rice: It came out hot and included bean sprouts, which a lot of places don't do anymore, so I appreciated that. The rice was dark, but even with steak, chicken, and shrimp, it still lacked flavor -- 2/5. The prices are good, service is fast, and there's plenty of space if you want to dine in. That said, it's not worth going back for me, but I'm glad I tried it.
