Food galore! There was so many options to choose from. Food 4/5: there was ALOT to choose from hahaha. It was a bit overwhelming and I feel like I didn't get to try everything. The food was good but definitely could be better but then again, what you pay for is what you get. I love crawfish and that was what I was looking forward to but all of them were either small or probably old because the meat was barely there. Prices are going up but the quality is dropping. In all fairness, when it was brand new everything was clean and product was moving. You can taste the water supply not being maintained. There is slime at the bottom of the vegetables. Disappointing customers at least created more space. It used to be really crowded. At this point you are paying for the ambiance cause the other local buffets are cheaper and they maintain their products better but they 'look' worse. read more

My family and I come to this restaurant regularly, but today's experience was extremely disappointing because of how the manager, Tim, treated us. When we arrived, I clearly explained to the girl at the front that more than half of our party was already there and the rest were on the way. She told us it was completely fine to be seated. More than half of our group had already sat down and started eating when Tim suddenly came over in a very rude manner demanding to know how many people were in our party. Instead of calmly addressing the misunderstanding with his employee, he told us we needed to move so he could give one of our tables away. When I questioned the situation and refused to move from where we were sitting, he physically pulled the extra table away from us and stormed off. I followed him to explain that the situation was caused by a misunderstanding at check-in and that there was no reason to treat customers disrespectfully. Rather than handling the situation professionally, Tim began arguing loudly with me in front of everyone in the restaurant. Even the employee at the front admitted she misunderstood me and apologized multiple times, yet Tim still blamed me and continued being rude. He eventually walked away mid-conversation, leaving me standing there confused while the employee continued apologizing. Mistakes happen, but the way Tim handled the situation was completely unacceptable and embarrassing. Customers should not be spoken to or treated that way, especially loyal customers who come here often. read more

I can't believe I've never written a review for this place for as long as I've been coming here and as many times! My apologies for having taken this great dining spot for granted but also getting down to just grubbing that I forgot to post a proper review! Please understand I'm not a fan of buffets but I agreed to go with my mom and kids. The lobby was packed to the point it making me claustrophobic. Once we go in the restaurant it was food all over the floor, ice cream cones piling all over the place. There were two workers on their phone in the hibachi area and they put there phone in their pocket and then took someone's bowl and started cooking. Didn't was their hands and we all know how many germs cell phones have. Not one worker used gloves when putting new food out. I really couldn't take the adults and kids eating right out of the pan while they were in line. My stomach was upset for days and I will leave the buffett to my mother and kids next time. read more

Great Buffett option and I've been hitting buffets since a child so I have experienced a few and this falls under the category of: go back. Unfortunately no pictures of the food but there's plenty of it. Apart of their all you can eat buffet line, they have a mongolian grill, sushi bar, dim sum and a chocolate fountain. Traditional Chinese food is great tasting and hot. What calls me the most is mountain high stacks of tasty fresh fried soft shell crab, crawfish and a seafood boil inspired dish (corn, potatoes, sausage, shrimp and mussels in a butter sauce). They also have a chocolate fountain and ice cream machine. Staff is friendly and facility is clean. Line does get long so keep that in mind. read more

We visited on a Saturday at 3:45 PM with a party of six. Even though the restaurant had plenty of open tables, the hostess refused to seat the two of us who had arrived on time, claiming the entire party had to be present first. Frustrated by this rigid policy, we left and went to KPOT instead, where the food and service were phenomenal as always. I will be sharing this experience with friends and online so others are aware of this unreasonable policy. 4.5 stars. Came here for a celebration of life for my grandmother -- she LIVED for her Chinese buffets. Didn't quite like how unclear our reserved seating section was from the start, but it wasn't that much of a big deal once it was explained. The waiter was just not super nice about it? Could be a language barrier. The variety was nice to satisfy 50 different palates: soups, salads, sushi, Asian buffet foods, Mongolian grill, seafood, American food, and desserts including ice cream, chocolate fondue, Chinese buffet style desserts, and fruits. The price was super affordable for adults: $12.99. We went on New Year's Eve around lunch time. We also had children and 60+ adults that got to eat at a discounted fare. I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I give King Buffet two thumbs up. This restaurant used to be a Furs Cafeteria. They totally remodeled the property, and it looks fantastic. It's wide open and can accommodate 400 guests. The food selection was great. About four or five hot food stations had everything from teriyaki chicken to fried crabs to soups. They also had fresh fruit and salad stations, an area to build your bowl, and a dessert station. I was very impressed with the staff. When you left a dirty plate on your table, someone quickly came by to remove it. You don't see stacks of used plates and cups. It is a family ambiance suitable for all ages. My meal was $16, and my mom (a senior) was $14. I felt it was a reasonable price. They also have a carryout option. read more

I've been with several of my family members. It wasn't quite worth the cost for my 5 yr old granddaughter but my other grands and adults loved the variety of choices. I love the sushi, crab, shrimp, salmon and much more. On week days the lunch prices are less and not as busy. read more

We've eaten at the king buffet in Plano which is excellent, so we had some expectations to meet The service and atmosphere were pretty good. I enjoy the Christmas music that was playing. Cons All of the food did not hit for me. Some of the food that looked good did not pop in flavor for me. I felt like a lot of it needed extra seasoning, it was watered down, or it tasted like it was in the fridge for a day. I got a bunch of different sushi and they somehow tasted the same. The best thing was the hibachi which was made fresh and great. There was a crazy buzz in the room that we were in like a speaker wasn't plugged in all the way. It was loud and buzzing in your ear. This is the best buffet that you can ask for in terms of price , quality and service. This was my first time coming to this location and to no surprise there was a line forming to get fed at the King Buffet. Two kids and an adult , took us about 20-25 minute wait before getting seated on a Sunday afternoon. The place is spacious and well decorated . The servers are always moving and making sure you have everything you need. The layout is enormous and what o saw spanned from crab legs,fried rice, ribs, cheese pizza, chicken nuggets , orange chicken, sushi'm, and much more. They have coke products , lemonade and tea. The ice cream machine appeared to be out but no other issues outside of that. There is a lot of hustle and bustle going around here, so you have be cautious not to bump into anyone. My family had a great experience at this buffet. The food tasted fresh and there were alot of options for each station. My favorite foods were the sesame chicken, Chinese donuts, mushrooms, sushi and the lo mein. The buffet areas looked clean and the food was refilled often. The waiters were efficient, helpful and professional. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted immediately and kindly. My kids under two ate for free and enjoyed the desserts, ice cream.
