On the weekend they are open for brunch. They have lots of breakfast and lunch options in the buffet. The cost is $12.49 (beverage extra) they do have complementary juice near the dessert buffet. The bacon here is salty and the bacon at the location on Randall Road serves a sweet maple bacon. So we prefer this location but they are both good! It is always crowded here so the food is really fresh and consistently being refreshed often. Even thought it is always busy here, we have always gotten a table. Decent food at decent prices with friendly staff. The pandemic has hit many restaurants hard, and Golden Corral has a clientel that likes affordable food so not raising prices seems to have been the way to go. Sadly it meant cutting back on the amount of choices and quality of choices. And having less staff, which is also understandable. The staff were friendly and if you've never been, you'll enjoy the food I think. If you have prepandemic, it is less choices and some of the more pricey choices are probably missing. Again understandable as a way to survive in a world of higher costs. If you like fish and tartar sauce, go for that, it was quite good and the same quality as pre pandemic. The pork chop was great when it was fresh off the grill. Make your own tacos and go to the salad bar and add some more toppings. It was good too. When We first went. We thought it was phenomenal. There was an abundance of food, meaning vegetables, meats, potatoes, a section they had offered Hispanic cuisine, soups, salads, fruits, a wonderful dessert bar and a little sidebar that offered pizza, hamburgers, grilled onions, and a few other specialties. Over the last 2 years we have noticed a decline. The abundance of vegetables is not as great as it used to be and many of it is thickly, fried and breaded. The Hispanic cuisine area has now spilled over into the other area, meaning there are now two Hispanic cuisines rather than one area which means now less vegetables, less meat and sometimes there are three trays of rice. We had been in there lately and everything was half empty and it didn't look very appetizing at all. So even though we did get a senior discount and even though we did a ride for the early bird special between 1:00 and 3:00, we decided that it really wasn't a place we enjoy coming to anymore. read more

Prices and food were average. Service was extremely slow and that was before the busload of tourists arrived. From that point on the whole thing became a calamity. Luckily we had eaten enough already because the buffet was wiped out. read more

You don't go into Golden corral expecting much the last time I went was at the Aurora location and the food was so disgusting, I barely ate anything and I vowed I would never return. The food was plentiful and I have to say it was actually good. This might be the best location that they have. The only thing I didn't like was the chili. It was extremely watery And I don't know what was in it, but it was horrible. They used to have really good chili and then they changed it. We had a male server that was phenomenal. And we tipped accordingly and he looked really surprised and I told him you're doing a fantastic job. I don't know if anybody ever tells you that, but you made our meal much more enjoyable. I used to love Golden Corral years ago...long before I tried really, really good food and knew any better. GC is your standard buffet - lots of choices - not the greatest quality.  But it will do when you're really hungry and just want to shovel food into your gullet.   They have pizza, steaks, chicken, seafoods, pasta, tacos, bread, salad bar and sides.  My absolutely most favorite-est meal there is the pot roast.  GET THIS.  That, and the bread pudding is pretty tasty.   For the sugar fiends:  they have ice cream, a chocolate fountain, and all sorts of cakes, fudge, brownies and cookies.   At $15.50 per adult for a full buffet, it doesn't seem too bad, but I do feel it's a little steep for the quality. read more

Don't go there around dinner time, you won't be able to get much selection at all because the food isn't replenished quickly enough. If I could give zero stars I would! This was my first time going to Golden Corral and just had a horrible first time experience. The hostess at the front was completely rude!! We had a party of 8 and there was no line. My sister was telling her 4 adults and 4 kids. She bluntly said "I am only charging for whoever I see in front of me." My mom and i came in a minute after. My mom tried to ask about senior discount and she looked at my sister and said "Well no one told me about it." We didn't pay yet and she made it seem like it was such an inconvenience to change it. My mom asked my SISTER how much it was for each person. Carmen bluntly told my mom, "the sign is right there, you can take a picture." Carmen asked what we wanted to drink and my mom and i said waters. My sister paid and it was around $89. My sister stayed at the table while the rest of us went to wash our hands. Our server (who was so nice) came to check our receipt for what drinks we ordered. When our server came back to our table, she brought coffee creamers and i was confused. I looked at our receipt because it said 3 coffees, which we didn't order and shows $67 paid. My sister checked her account to make sure we didn't get overcharged. Our server was nice and said "it's okay, i can get you the drinks you asked for." My sister went up to Carmen to make sure she wasn't overcharged and told her this wasn't our receipt. That this is the receipt Carmen gave her. Right off the bat, she rudely said "this isn't your receipt." Obviously, that's why we approached her. She tried to make it seem as if it was our fault for an incorrect receipt. My sister said this is what you gave me and what i put on our table. Carmen then said the server or someone else took it off your table and gave you the wrong receipt. We told Carmen that our server did not! We brought it to our servers attention and she checked her pockets if she did accidentally grab it but she didn't. Carmen continued to say this isn't your receipt. A mistake she did and was trying to blame us or someone else for. I then asked her where is the signed receipt? She was confused by this and said "signed receipt?" I said "the receipt she signed". She said how am I supposed to know which one is yours?" We told her we can look at the signed name. We told her how much we were charged. My sister then asked for the manager. Carmen said "Okay you can go find her." My sister asked if she can call her. She replied with "she doesn't have a phone." Then my sister asked for her (hostess) name. The manager eventually came to our table and spoke with my sister. Manager handled it well but the way Carmen the hostess was from the start just infuriated me and my family. They had cooked to order steak, salads, baked potatoes, sweet potato fries, fried fish, baked fish, mashed potatoes, vegetables, fried chicken, baked chicken, pot roast, cakes, pies, ice cream, cookies, watermelon, apples, oranges, pineapple, cantaloupe etc. All of the food was fresh. We tried the pot roast, steak, fried chicken, mushrooms, baked potato; fried fish, mashed potatoes, corn, pineapple, watermelon, and cantaloupe.
