Its a Friday nite, and on the menu it says Mon-Sat: 11:00 am - 8:30 pm. I told the hostess that i wanted to make an order to-go. She told me they were closed. I then asked what time they close, I was told they close "Right Now". Extremely Rude. So, I left got into my car and proceded driving away. Then the hostess ran up to me saying they could take my order, that didn't make anything better. So instead of driving another 20 min for Chinese food, I made an order with them. I ordered, sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef, and steamed rice, which they didn't have. I was given fried rice instead. The food was O.K. Nothing to write home about. Typical Chinese food. While waiting for my food I couldn't help but notice that they have a-lot of, "We reserve the right to refuse service" What's up with that? Wast of money wont be going back.

It was one of a few options of Chinese/Asian restaurants in town, so there weren't too many options to choose from. So, if you are stucked around town and craved Chinese food, chances are...this restaurant would end up being your pick. The food was ok, a bit on a pricey side. The taste was just fine. From my perspectives, compared to other Chinese places in other larger metros/cities, this place wouldn't stand a chance to compete. But..given it was a place in such a small, very low population town...it served its job of helping tame my craving for Chinese food. Try it if you are stucked in the area/town and this can help you a bit with your Chinese food craving.

Another guy was waiting for his order, he finished his gave it to him then asked me if I was picking up, I said yes. He took my payment and said, "5 Minutes". I was worried because the place smelled like burnt grease. I trusted it would be ok as I ordered in the past. I returned to my hotel room and my truck smelled like burnt grease and later my room would too. I proceeded to eat my food and I was very disappointed, I couldn't finish it! The rice was like wild rice, had that burnt taste, no eggs or veggies and a few slices of beef which didn't have much taste to it other than grease. It was after 7pm and they were closed so I couldn't return it, I called and he answered again and proceeded to say "takeout order?" After I tried to explain to him my dissatisfaction and the quality. I felt as if he was just not wanting to accept responsibility for just throwing out a crappy meal at the close of business. The egg rolls were hard, burnt and plain right out nasty! Highly recommend the teriyaki chicken, sesame chicken and General Tso's. All three plates were fresh, delicious and surpassed all expectations. Didn't even remember to take pictures because we immediately dug in. Ambiance was very cute with a modern touch and La Rosa de Guadalupe playing on a couple TVs. My wife ordered the Teriyaki chicken and I ordered the Tofu Homestyle option. The price includes a soup and either steamed or fried rice. The platter was generous, we liked specially the Hot & Sour Soup. After we arrived several customers came to eat there as well as picking up food. We had the Shrimp w/ blackbean sauce, BBQ pork egg foo young, Spicy fried rice and spring rolls. All of items were delicious and the servings were very generous.
