    Chicken chow fun
    Stephanie T.

This is such a great local spot! The food here is delicious! There is plenty of seating inside and parking outside. They also have chargers so you can charge your car while you're eating. The staff there were super nice and gave a wonderful recommendation of Chicken Chow Fun instead of my regular chow mein. The pork dumplings were also really good. They have a few different teas. When I said I had a sweet tooth, the staff suggested their natural peach tea, which was another wonderful recommendation from her. You can tell the staff is really trying to make this place great and they're doing a good job so far with that.

I used my trusted Yelp App to look up businesses with "Dragon" in the title and l was drawn to this spot. When I got there, I was the only person dining in. I guess that explains the empty parking lot. It was late afternoon so I probably missed the crowd for lunch which to me was good...that means quick service. I noticed the awesome dragon decorations I saw online were taken down. I asked the staff "what happened to them?" He didn't understand me. Okay...communication was going to be an issue. As soon as I sat down, he was ready to take my order which to me was another good thing but I felt rushed. He offered water and I accepted. While I reviewed the menu, I noticed a few people came in to place their order to-go....maybe that's what the staff is accustomed to. I had a question about the veggie option for the chow mein and decided to order wonton soup as an appetizer. I later found out there was pork in it. I wish he would've told me that since I asked about veggie options initially. All well, I knew communication was going to be a problem...with that said he didn't check on me. Just for transparency, he wasn't that friendly to begin with. The food ended up tasting good overall so for this review I gave 2 stars.

This is a tasty and small restaurant located inside a busy plaza so parking can be difficult especially on the weekends They're open daily 11am-9pm (except Sun - 11am-8:30pm) Menu had a good variety of popular Chinese dishes. There is lunch special on weekdays 11am-3pm and it comes with rice and soda. There are 7 dishes to choose from and each dish is $9.95! Pretty good deal! Pork & Shrimp Siu Mai ($4.99) was underwhelming and tasted quite bland. There wasn't really shrimp and it seemed just frozen dim sum. Mongolian Beef ($15.65) was delicious! The beef was very tender and very flavorful! I was impressed with the portion size and how how beef there was! Chicken Fried Rice Cakes ($13.95) was very good! The rice cakes were soft and chewy. The chicken was very flavorful and not too salty. Beef Chow Mein ($12.94) was ok. Not used to thick noodles used but it tasted alright. There was a lot of beef and shrimp and it was it was packed with flavor! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would recommend!

This place is very good. They have a large variety of different foods to try. I have never tried some of the items that they have. I like to try new things they cook their rice perfectly. Everything was well seasoned and enjoyed by my entire family. We got an order to go. Everyone was happy with what they got. The shrimp in the lo mein was very good.

Oh wow, first time trying g this place for lunch and BAM!! First off the in-person pricing is cheaper than what's reflected online. Now food: Came so hot that I had to wait for a few minutes...YAS Orange chicken...supernatural flavor and very little food coloring!! Kung Pow chicken...the flavor profile was spot on and not too spicy CC wontons...yummy with a nice hint of crab. Pork and shrimp suimai...nice!!!

    Hot and sour soup

My boyfriend was feeling under the weather Friday afternoon and I knew that a bowl of hot & sour soup would do the trick! Unfortunately, our old go to spot a block from us had closed down but in its place... was now Golden Dragon. We didn't even realize it wasnt the same Chinese restaurant, but when finding out, decided to give them a try! I ordered for pickup around 5:00pm on Door Dash. They had pictures showing for many items, but I noticed that many pictures were incorrectly linked to different dishes. This seems like an error on Door Dash's part, and we decided to stick to our first picks. I got the hot and sour soup for him, and ordered the following for the group: -sesame balls -spicy beef -Orange chicken -house fried rice I purposely sheduled the order to be picked up at 5:45pm since we needed to stop somewhere along the way, but saw they had started making it immediately. This was a little concerning because I knew our food would be sitting there a little too long before picking up. We ended up having to rush, and arrived at the restaurant at 5:30pm. This was the first time since the restaurant changed ownership that we have entered. Aside from it being very empty, it felt empty as well. Very wide open area with a lot of void space. I didnt see any decor and they definitely didnt have the walk up food ordering option like the previous place did. It looks like they only take orders now rather than that Panda Express style feel. When entering I noticed one person sitting on a chair on their phone. He quickly got up and I let him know I was picking up for 'Katrina', he grabbed the bag that had been sitting on the table in front of him and handed it to me. We said thank you and left. We got home rather quickly and started opening all the containers. Right off the bat I noticed the fried rice was extremely dark in color. This may be normal, and it didnt taste bad but I have never seen fried rice that dark brown before. The orange chicken had a good sauce taste, but since it had been sitting in the container for some time, it was extremely soggy. The spicy beef is something I woukd never order again. It in no way was spicy, and just tasted like white pepper with beef. There was a specific taste and smell to it, and I couldnt put my finger on what it was from. All I know is it wasnt a fan favorite of ours. The hot and sour soup was not like the previous location's, and we were so sad about it. It was good though, and was similar to other Chinese restaurant recipes. Each entree comes with a small container of white steamed rice, and that was cooked well. We were excited to finish off with a sesame ball, but they were also mushy, and I could barely taste the red bean paste inside. I dont want to rule this spot out as a "no-go", and im thinking maybe variables were just off paired with trying something for the first time. Im willing to give this spot a try one more time and maybe order directly from them in person so I know I can grab the bag as soon as its done.

Salt & Pepper Fish Fillet ($14.65) - The fish was fried perfectly and not oily at all. It was well seasoned and spiced, too. I'm grateful the server recommended this to me!

Quick and friendly service. Great place if you're craving Chinese fast food but want the quality of a higher end restaurant. They offer the classic favorites like Ornage Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli Beef and Sautéed Green Beans but they are not very greasy. The vegetables are fresh and crunchy, and the breading on the Orange Chicken is thin and crispy. For me, this place is a low guilt indulgence go-to when I don't feel like cooking and need to pick up a family meal quickly. Also, their lunch specials are really affordable and generous in portion size.

Wow. Great casual lunch restaurant. Simple menu with all lunch entrees for $9.95 (April 2025) and includes rice and a soda. Fresh, fast, hot, very flavorful food. Loved both the kung pao chicken (savory and slightly sweet) and mongolian beef (super tender beef)! Also ordered beef chow fun ala carte! Cashier was the waiter as well. Shy and kind and very professional. Clean and spacious seating with lots of windows. You know it's good when local workers eat here.

$9.95 Lunch Deal That'll Blow Your Mind: Unexpectedly awesome lunch find! Found this spot kind of randomly, and wow -- what a great surprise. Golden Dragon might not look fancy from the outside, but the food hits so right. Their $9.95 lunch special is a steal -- you get rice + a drink included, and portions are solid. No MSG either, which I really appreciate. Here's what I tried: Orange Chicken - Super crispy, not soggy at all. The sauce was tangy and just sweet enough without being too sticky. Legit one of the better versions I've had in a while. Mongolian Beef - Tender beef, savory sauce, and the onions still had a little crunch. I wasn't expecting much, but it totally delivered. Salt & Pepper Fish - Crispy, flavorful, and not greasy. The diced peppers and onions gave it some nice texture and heat. Would 100% order again. Pot Stickers - Classic, golden pan-fried dumplings. Crispy bottom, juicy filling. Exactly what you want from a potsticker. Beef Noodle Soup - The pork bone broth is deep and rich -- super comforting. If you like noodle soups, don't skip this one. Quick service, chill atmosphere, and everything came out fresh and hot. For under $10? Kinda wild these days. If you're in the area during lunch hours (Mon-Fri 11am-3pm), this spot is seriously worth checking out. Hidden gem vibes.

    Spicy Orange Chicken

The food was very fresh, hot and delicious. I ordered the Beef Chow Fun. The beef was tender and seasoned well, it was paired with perfectly cooked noodles, and crisp scallions and bean spouts. I will order this again. I also tried the Spicy Orange Chicken. It was an unexpected surprise. It was not cloyingly sweet, but well balanced. The chicken was moist and tender with a crispy fried coating. I thing I would change would be to add a little more nuance of orange flavor, but very tasty. The server and staff very extremely attentive and friendly! It's nice to have a place like this so close to home. I highly recommend this restaurant based on the dishes I tried.

Vibes: 7/10 Marry/F*ck/Kill: the orange chicken, the dumplings, spicy popcorn chicken Food: 8/10 Do they have domestic beer??: no alcohol but coke products and speciality canned beverages. Overall: - Only place i will this type of food now, beyond fire. Not over sauced, not over fried, no weird pieces. All the sauces are homemade you can tell from the fresh garlic and seasoning. Big menu, lots options - even your kid or lame friend will find something here. - This place cooks nearly everything fresh! That is good for patience/nice/kind people, if you aren't that go home. We came in on Christmas Eve, not many dining in but lots of togos and our food came out about 15/20 mins after ordering. - I would say order ahead if you're doing to-go, usually only 2 workers, one cooking & one serving. Angry customer was there but the server handled it perfectly but giving him his food and ignorin him lol. - Highly recommend in comparison to the other local spots in this area, food is fresh and fabulous!

Didn't even check Yelp first. Just went in blind based on a good feeling about the place. Glad I did. I ordered the half-and-half with chicken teriyaki and katsu, and honestly it was one of the better teriyaki plates I've had anywhere around here. The chicken was flavorful, the katsu was crispy without being greasy, and everything tasted fresh. It's a little pricier than some teriyaki spots, but the quality backs it up. My wife and I could easily split one order next time. I came in around 4 PM, so it wasn't packed, but the people inside looked happy, the restaurant was clean, and the whole place just had a really good vibe. Sometimes you can tell within a minute whether a place cares about what they're doing, and this felt like one of those spots. There's a reason they've got 4.7 stars. If anything, I'd say that rating is deserved.

I like that this place uses the Yelp waitlist because I put my name down as we were on our way over and arrived just in time. We were seated quickly on a Saturday evening around 6 pm. There are a good amount of tables inside. They also had some TVs showing baseball games around. The service was amazing here. It felt like the waiters and waitresses were constantly eyeing our table to see if we needed anything or were ready to order more. They refilled our water carafe before it was completely empty, changed our grills before we asked, and took away empty plates as soon as we cleared them. I also appreciated that they put salt or something on the ground so it wasn't too slippery. The only complaint I had about the place was that it was really hot but I could see the waitresses were also really hot as they fanned themselves walking around. The food were was actually pretty solid for an ayce restaurant. We got the deluxe plan which is the cheaper option for $30.99. The brisket came with some salt and pepper on it and looked like a better cut than I've seen at other places. We also got some kalbi which came without the bone which is so nice because we didn't have to cut it off and have little meat left over. My husband and I also really liked the marinated steak. I typically like non marinated meat better but the steak was tender and the marinade wasn't too sweet. I used the salt to help cut the sweetness and wrapped it in a lettuce with some radish. I really liked all the meats we tried here. They also have really good sides here that you can't get anymore at a lot of kbbq places like the steamed egg or corn cheese plate. All of the food options were so good and I left very stuffed. I would definitely recommend then kbbq ayce restaurant to anyone in the area!

We went on a Saturday night and were seated right away. Our server, Carol, was super sweet and made our first visit even better. Even though I had practically memorized the menu already, I still had her explain everything and give us her recommendations. She shared her favorites, what's popular, and even what customers don't usually order. She felt very genuine and honest and never once seemed like she was trying to upsell us. Then I looked over and saw Chef Tara. I had already told my friends about her, only to find out they follow her on Instagram too. Eventually, we worked up the courage to talk to her, and she was incredibly nice. She took her time answering our questions about Filipino culture and explaining how her dishes came about. You can really feel her passion and pride in her work. I truly admired that. And the food? WOW. Easily the best meal I've had in 2026. It's been a week and I'm STILL thinking about it. I knew I wanted to write a review, but I honestly didn't expect the experience to exceed my expectations this much. Love at first bite. We started with the Tuna Kinilaw, Carpaccio, and Crispy Pig Ears. Carol taught us how to eat the kinilaw: put all the good stuff on the spoon for the perfect bite. Rich coconut, calamansi, cilantro, fish, jalapeño, and onion on a crispy wonton. It was an absolute explosion of flavor. My taste buds were not ready! The carpaccio was fresh and paired with what I believe was pear or another refreshing fruit. Then the crispy pig ears came out. I was hesitant because not everyone at our table is a pork fan, and I had already convinced them to order the pork tomahawk tocino. But after Carol and Chef Tara both recommended it, we gave it a shot. SO glad we did. The ears were incredibly crispy, with a sweet-and-sour tamarind glaze. Then I realized there was tofu in the dish and immediately thought, "Oh my God, this is the chef's version of tokwa't baboy!" Chef Tara later confirmed it. Such a creative and unexpected take on a Filipino classic. The Roasted Cabbage was supposed to be a side, but honestly, it could've been a main. Roasted perfectly with miso brown butter and lime. Simple but incredibly flavorful. The sauce was so good one of my friends started putting rice in it. Next was the Short Rib Kare Kare. I grew up not eating bagoong, so I usually just use patis with my kare kare. Chef Tara intentionally incorporated bagoong into hers instead of serving it on the side because she wanted people to eat it the way she intended. She was right. That sauce was AMAZING. I'm pretty sure the bagoong was homemade, and the combination had me dunking my rice straight into the sauce. The short rib was tender, flavorful, and practically falling off the bone. The Chicken Adobo sa Pula was another surprise. Chef Tara described it as her French-Filipino fusion take on adobo--and there's no soy sauce! The chicken was incredibly tender, the sauce was killer, and the crispy garlic on top added the perfect crunch. Then came the star of the show: Pork Tomahawk Tocino. Sweet glaze, mango sawsawan, a meaty portion on one side and pork belly on the other. The meatier part reminded me of classic tocino and home cooking, with just the right amount of sweetness. Then we got to the pork belly... It melted in your mouth. I've never shaken my head this much during one dinner. Every dish just kept coming out swinging. For dessert, we had the Sticky Rice Crème Brûlée, and this one completely blew me away. I expected a Thai-style sticky rice dessert with coconut milk and condensed milk. Nope. THE STICKY RICE WAS BIKO. OMG. Chef Tara stayed true to the Filipino dish and elevated it instead. Mind blown is an understatement. We also had the Buko Pan Dan, which was great, along with another dessert that was also delicious. But that sticky rice crème brûlée had me sitting there thinking, "Why did it take me so long to come here?" And the restaurant itself is such a vibe. I loved the anime-inspired artwork throughout the restaurant--even in the men's restroom! I cannot say enough about this place. I was telling everyone at work, my cousins, my friends, and pretty much anyone I passed on my walk back to the hotel that night. Animae is an absolute gem. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere, but most importantly, you can feel the passion and pride behind the food. Chef Tara isn't just creating dishes--she's telling stories and bringing Filipino culture to the table in such a creative way. Thank you, Chef Tara, Carol, and the entire Animae team for an unforgettable night.

I was kind of bummed that I was the only person dining for lunch, they honestly deserve a crowd. The food and service was 10/10. The setup is really cute on the inside as well and I was able to sit comfortably at a table with my daughter's stroller right next to me. Upon entering, I was greeted right away. I already knew that I wanted to order the Khao Soi because I had looked up their menu and pictures way before coming in and it looked like their specialty. I ordered an iced jasmine green tea as well and chose a table to sit at. The woman who took my order was really nice and helpful with ordering. My food didn't take long to come out, and it was DELICIOUS. This was my first time trying this dish so I didn't know what to expect but it was everything and more. It was topped with what I think was fried onion and chili crisp as well for some added spice. The tea was also so delicious, the crushed ice they use is my favorite. The tea was garnished with an orange slice and my toddler decided to much on it. The woman who took my order noticed my daughter eating the orange slice and she brought me out a couple more on the side. You really don't experience that level of customer service anymore, so it was such a sweet gesture. They have a lot of other things on their menu that I would love to come back and try. I also used the restroom before leaving and it was super clean. I honestly have no complaints whatsoever and I hope this business continues to thrive!
