Service can be a hit or miss as there are many waiters working and asking what you need but then things are lost in between. Example 4 waiters came by to take our order which shows how attentive they are yet when we needed more water they kept forgetting. The food is delicious. I love the scrambles. I have been here four times in the past two months or so. It is delicious. Everything I've tried so far is great...from the skillets to the quiches. The French Toast portion can be considered on the small side for what I'm use to, so be sure to order sides with that. The biscuits and gravy are amazing. I discovered this place via Yelp when I searched "mimosas" .... Arrive at this place and noticed it was a little busy which was expected for Sunday morning brunch. Service was awful immediately upon arrival. We were looking for the person responsible for the waiting list--she hands us a notepad and then just walks away. When she came back, I asked how long the wait for 2 was and she walked away again! Fortunately, the wait wasn't that long--less than 10 minutes! However, we were seated at a small table that happened to be the hallway that connects the outdoor patio to the inside dining area. We sit down, we ordered cups of coffee and glasses of water. I looked at the beverage section of the menu and saw that mimosas and beer were listed. I ordered a mimosa. "We don't serve alcohol here. That's only the Ventura one." Uhhh okay. A waitress comes around and pours out the rest of the coffee pot, which only fills up our cups halfway--she tells us they're currently brewing coffee. It didn't make sense that a brunch place didn't have coffee constantly brewing, but okay. I unwrapped the napkin/silverware set to use the spoon to stir my coffee only to discover silverware that wasn't clean. Our waiter take our orders, but, I said I needed a few minutes. Literally, a minute later, he comes back again asking if we're ready. Like, no, I'm still coping with the fact that there are no mimosas as advertised bruh... We ordered the chorizo and eggs with a side of banana bread and the ham skillet with a biscuit. Another server comes around with the brewed coffee and literally pours the sh*t bottom of the coffee pot into our cups AGAIN. As we're patiently waiting for our food, one of the servers yells to another one, "WE NEED COFFEE ON THE PATIO BADLY." I'm no hospitality industry professional, but perhaps using your "inside voice" would be more inappropriate for when customers around? Then he asks if there are any clean coffee mugs--the other server said, "Nope." Our food comes out--it's BARELY warm--closer to cold. They tell us that the biscuits and banana bread will be our shortly. Taste wise? Mmmm, yeah nope. The ham skillet was seasoned with what seemed like freshly chopped rosemary that didn't compliment the flavor of anything at all. I was so hungry that I just doused the plate with black pepper and Cholula. Not once did a single server come to check on us or ask how the food was tasting. Nor had the banana bread or biscuit come out. As we're about to ask for the check, voila! Out comes the biscuit and banana bread. I couldn't even eat the biscuit because the entire thing kept crumbling every time I picked a piece of it up. I found this spot a few months ago and I have been going a couple times a month since. The food is great and very reasonably priced. The staff is always nice. Service is great. They allow dogs on the patio that overlooks the Seabridge Marina. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the gravy for the biscuits. It's very plain. The staff is friendly here and the food is made to order and fresh. I tried one of their spinach quiche & it was delish! I have been waiting for this place to open up so we could give it a try. We were not disappointed. It has a cute atmosphere and a great location (right next to our gym...ha ha!) I had the chilaquiles with eggs and chorizo served with refried beans. I asked for a side of salsa and they brought me what looked like fresh made pico de gallo. It was pretty good and satisfying. Since its not something I usually order I don't really have much to compare it to. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with eggs, potatoes, and sourdough. This is his standard order so he knows a good chicken fried steak when he tastes one. He said the steak was awesome, one of the best. Potatoes were good. The bread looked fresh baked. The only thing he didn't like was the orange garnish because he could taste orange in his eggs. And they gave him my over easy eggs and I got the over medium. Not a big deal though. The service was friendly and attentive too. All in all we would definitely go back. Next time I will try the eggs benedict which is my standard order and see how it stacks up. My aunt got the spinach/mushroom/cheese omelette, the potatoes, banana bread, and a cup of coffee- she cleared her plates completely so I'm guessing she liked it! Ha! It was not too crowded on a Saturday brunch, so we were seated pretty much right away. Staff was very enthusiastic and multiple people made sure my aunt and I were happy with our meal and service. There were a couple regulars here that the staff knew by first name which was cool! The part I dinged a star was that my coffee cup was not washed that well because there was someone's lip stick stain still on the top side...eww! The waitress happily amended the situation but it just made me paranoid for the rest of my meal inspecting every dish. The rest were fine...just that cup. This place has a lot of potential! First with the good. My boys and I went on a Sunday at about 11am. It is quite a bit bigger than it looks from outside. Both inside and outside seating are tables and chairs, no booths. The outside seating has a golden view of the marina. The outside seating is also K-9 friendly for those who are accompanying their dog:). The service was also good as they were friendly and prompt. Where the experience lagged for me was the food. It was, at best, average. My boys had pancakes and I had the ham and egg skillet. Again, the meals weren't bad, just not memorable.
