We had a wonderful meal here yesterday! Food & service were excellent. Hubby enjoyed his Chorizo Benedict w/ hash browns, and his eggs were perfectly poached. As a vegan, I was prepared to accept my usual limited selection at a real Mexican restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a few unique options other than fruit & potatoes. I ended up getting the street corn (I asked for it plain because I just love naked corn lol), with a side of nopales. Wow, those nopales were amazing! Covered in a green chile salsa that had the perfect kick of heat, and I ordered a side of tortillas to make my own tacos. Yum! Bonus points for my refreshing margarita w/ that good crunch ice (iykyk) & hubby's bottomless mimosa w/ choice of juice (he went w/ cranberry). Shoutout to my friend and fellow Yelper Eri G. For making a great breakfast recommendation. I was craving some authentic Mexican food, especially breakfast items and she said we had to come here. I always listen to her because she is spot on and this place was truly delicious. Located off Vineyard it's fairly easy to get to and it's right off of the freeway. I liked that they had their own private parking lot, makes dining here easy and safe. The restaurant itself is darling. It's actually pretty large inside and can fit a good amount of people. They had plenty of options for sitting, booths and tables and on a Saturday morning it wasn't very busy but it did pickup. The interior is clean and they have nice artwork and decor. I loved the stained glass windows that face the main dining area. Service was easily 5 stars. Our waitresses name was Norma and she was so sweet. She had a great personality and made us feel super welcomed. She was on top of things and gave us great service from start to finish. I also appreciated that she answered our questions about the menu and gave good suggestions. I'd come back again just to eat at Normas table! The food is another 5 stars, everything I had was delish. The menu here is big with lots of breakfast and lunch options. I opted for the pork verde chilaquiles. This came with an over medium egg and beans. The dish was fantastic and easy 5 stars. The eggs were cooked exactly as I asked and the refried beans had great flavor. The portion of the chilaquiles was massive, super generous for the price. What I also liked was that the pork verde sauce was flavorful and had massive amount of cooked pork. Sometimes when they say their sauces have pork some places just use small shreds but here the pork was very generous and super tender - cooked perfectly. My friend ordered a crepes breakfast combo plate and it looked tasty to me. Also fun that they have a nice small alcohol selection here for those of you who like a boozy brunch. Beers and wines. Also bloody Mary's and my personal favorite, their micheladas. Presentation was great and the drink was cold and refreshing. It's Cinco de Mayo today but I don't need an excuse to eat Mexican food. It is my favorite! It was getting close to dinner time and I just wanted to place an order to go. When I walked up to the counter, a man helped me right away. He handed me a menu so I could look it over and then in a few minutes I was ready to place my order with the cashier. She was also very helpful and friendly. My order was ready in about 10 minutes. I ordered a Wet Chile Verde Burrito. They also gave me chips, salsa and pico de gallo. The burrito was quite large yet I had no problem finishing it all. The salsa has got to be one of my favorites I have tried out of the 2 Mexican restaurants I have tried since moving here. It was thin yet had some chunks of tomato, cilantro and I think orange bell pepper?. I could be wrong about the bell pepper. They could be pickled peppers for all I know. But everything was tasty and seasoned well. The burrito had rice and beans in it but there definitely was more pork in it than the rice and beans which I prefer. I don't care for places that use rice and beans as the main filler. This place doesn't do that. read more

The chilaquiles with chile verde was fulfilling - again, very yum. The machaca was ok. Could have used a little more moist, if that makes sense. Was not dry but some moister (from onion or tomato) would har made better. In all cases - the beans are super delicious. The pancakes - I would go back and just get the pancakes. This is a very family friendly breakfast restaurant. It was my first time here because we were looking for a place who had chilaquiles. They have lots of parking space available and inside so many tables. We came in around 1pm and it was busy but still we were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and seated right away. They only have tables so not booths are available but they offer so many options from french toast to classic mexican plates. We started off with the asada nachos and they were very delicious. My red chilaquiles were also very delicious. I just would have liked more sour cream on them but they were still good. Everyone was very attentive and very friendly as well. I tried Mi Pueblo cafe recently - and it was absolutely delicious! First of all, I ordered asada, carnitas, and chicken taco. The asada and carnitas tacos were good, but the chicken taco was excellent. It was juicy and well seasoned. I'd say all I left were the scraps behind, but even I made sure to scrape off any leftovers from my plate to make sure it made it directly into my belly! I also tried the trio fajitas combo, which came out piping hot - and was scrumptious. Every piece on the fajita plate came together to create a delicious mixture of tangy and moist. The tortillas were also soft and appetizing. Our server was Johan, who was helpful, friendly, and fast in serving us. I felt like all the servers/staff we encountered were very knowledgable and kind - and we didn't find out until we were leaving that we were cutting it close to their closing hours. However, they still provided us excellent service, and I didn't feel rushed or feel an aura of impatience in them waiting for us to leave. I am eager to try their brunch here in the future as it seems like that is also very popular and looks like it has mouthwatering food and reasonable prices. We have been here two times now for Sunday brunch. Expect a wait if you go prime time. The chilaquiles are delicious. Both the Rojo and Verde. The bottomless mimosas were great. They left the bottle at the table for my husband which was perfect for him. Service is always friendly. The food did take a very long time to come out and everything was coming out one at a time. We always pass this place when I'm dropping off my fiancée at work. We finally had some time to try it today and it was amazing. We were there on a Friday afternoon so it wasn't very busy, we were greeted and seated very quickly. Our server was friendly and attentive. Ok, so I finally tried this place and I have mixed feelings. Let me start with the food and Mexican coffee was delicious! The service was not as great as it could have been. When we got seated the table next to us were getting up and leaving. After 10 minutes I noticed the table next to me got seated and was served with his drink order. I finally asked her to check on our server and she said, I'll be with you shortly. Another 10 minutes went by and she came over to take our drink order. We received our drinks as the table next to me was already eating. We also did not receive our food all together. Once we were served our food i Doug not a out server again, 3 different people helped until I paid. This place could be great if it was properly staffed. The restrooms were not as clean either. It was wet all over the floor inside the stalls. There was no seat covers either. Maybe a Togo order would be better if I'm on that side of town. read more

Found out something shocking. They re-sell and re-serve opened champagne bottles that were sold to customers and that the customers used and left for trash. I found this out because I noticed the a customer left a bottle behind and I asked the server about it, she said they use it to sell again for single's. I thought that was pretty unsanitary and somewhat shady. I also noticed the middle aged lady that served us didn't actually sanitize the table after customers left which is just gross and kind of sad considering a pandemic ended not too long ago As for food My wife and I enjoyed the chile verde omelette and Santa Fe skillet respectively. We also had two beers which in my opinion was over priced,10$ for 22oz of Michelob ultra . We asked to substitute the potatoes as we have a special diet. They were able to accommodate us which is always a plus. My santa fe skillet was supposed to come with chorizo but it hardly had any at all. Also I decided to lift the skillet after it cooled to look at the wooden platter they brought it on and lo and behold was a large leaf of lettuce under my skillet that was obviously not garnish. I question the sanitary practices of this restaurant The food was tasty so we took it down. The service was acceptable but I did notice a couple that sat down after us were served food before us. Ours came right after but I didn't appreciate that too much. It was a big place on a Saturday but seemed desolate there was only four other customers and this was lunchtime. Tells me they may have to sell soon. We asked for the check, the server brought us the wrong one, she served us and she somehow didn't notice that we didn't have three plates of chiliqeles Or coffee and tea. Wow! Tried this place for breakfast yesterday while in town for a few days R&R. It did not disappoint. I ordered the menudo, no pata with extra hominy. That's exactly how it was served. The tripe was clean and cooked perfectly. The broth was perfect. Also tried the beef birria tacos. Beef was nice and tender with good flavor. The homemade corn tortillas were browned to perfection and served nice and hot. The chorizo was good, served with flour tortillas. The chilaquiles had a nice dark red chile. The beer was served in a big frozen mug at a cold temperature. The wait staff was very friendly. The only issue was food came out at different times, possibly not enough kitchen staff. Overall I'd definitely recommend this place and will come back next time I'm in town read more
