A frequented establishment. Three busy meal periods: breakfast lunch and afternoon tea. Place gets filled up 10 minutes after opening. Yin yang (hk milk tea and coffee mix) is two thumbs up

Trying one of the original Chinese restaurant AKA 茶餐庭 in Richmond Hill! Their Hong Kong Hot Milk-tea 热奶茶 is one of the best i have ever tired~ super silky and smooth. One of the best i have ever had to be very honest! Hong Kong style French Toast 西多士 with peanut butter is always the best thing ever. Its soft and sweet. But not crazy sweet which is lovely with a balance peanut butter stuffing. 5/5 The Sweet Soya Chicken Wings and Instant Noodle dry mix was alright. Just felt a bit dry and too sweet for my liking. 3/5. Maybe dry noodles with cheese and a side of the sweet soya soaked wings will be even better~ Overall 4/5, definitely one of the better Chinese fast food restaurant there is in toronto! Go give it a try

We came in at 4:10pm, and the place was not busy. It's a very cozy and clean little HK style cafe. Service was friendly and fast, my son likes his toast very much. They offered all day combos at $9.99 and $8.99. Will come back trying more dishes.

Wanted to eat a quick breakfast and this chinese restaurant seemed to open earlier than most. Ambiance - 1/5. It is a small restaurant so seating is limited. After all the utensils and drinks, not a lot of space for the food. Food - 3/5. The food was ok. Typical Hong Kong style food. Unfortunately, they messed up our second order. They mis-entered the order in the system. There are 2 orders that are very similar. The cheaper option comes with 1 protein option with 2 eggs. The more expensive option has an add on of macaroni in soup base. We also asked for scrambled eggs but they didn't put in that request either. The eggs camed out as sunny side egg. The chicken cutlet combo was fine. However, since the other waa incorrect, I shared half of my food. So we were both hungry. We ordered cold drinks instead of the hot drink that is free. It's an extra $1 per drink. Service - 2/5. They were initially quick with our service. However, it deteriorated after. When we asked them about our order, they said they can't do anything about it. The person that took our order and entered didn't even apologize. Overall - 3/5. Not in a rush to go back.

Breakfast is good for the price and size is just the right size not too much not too little. Ordered 2 macaroni with toast, eggs and ham and 1 steak and eggs with toast and hash brown. Overall a tad saltier than I like but still ok. Would not recommend the hash brown. Milk tea is smooth, has tea flavour but average. Overall for 3 people, it was good value for average $10 pp. would I go back again? Definitely but will try something else too

It's a small HK cafe with limited seating. There's usually a wait and sometimes a line due to the lack of space here. If you live nearby or if possible have other eating accommodations, I reccomend take out. There's also signs on the walls asking that customers limit their time here to 45 min. I'm not sure if that was ever enforced since I usually just eat and go at this restaurant in the few times that I was in the area. They have strict breakfast menus where you can't order food from lunch menus as the chefs aren't there yet or the ingredients aren't ready. Everything is at a set price, normally at 9.95 though there are some exceptions. I highly recommend the pan fried flat noodles with beef 干炒牛河 here when lunch menu starts. It comes with a drink or you can forgo the drink to get a spicy XO sauce version of it which is amazing. Their fried chicken items are also super tasty and I reccomend any of those. To summarize, this place is straightforward, fast-paced, and affordable.

This little restaurant is family-owned and run, as the owner, his wife and son work everyday alongside some of their hires. They recognize my family as regulars since we come in often for both breakfast and dinner. Service is always friendly as they greet us with a smile and thank-you when we leave. The owner's wife has an interesting personality and is a great conversationalist. You might need to get to know her to understand her humor, otherwise, it might come off as a little sassy even though she doesn't mean it that way. Today, I came for their breakfast (which doesn't end till 11:30 am!), ordering a GRILLED CHICKEN STEAK WITH TWO SUNNYSIDE UP EGGS, A HASH BROWN AND TOAST for $7.25 plus tax. Oh, and it comes with a drink! I opt for their soy milk as that's my drink or choice and it's a nice option to have, considering many other HK-style breakfast places don't offer it or require an up-charge. Ultimately, this is such a satisfying meal! Side note: drinks usually come during the second half of the meal as they purposely wait for you to enjoy some of your meal first. If you want it earlier, let them know when you order! The parking spaces for this plaza are also abundant, so I never have to fight for spots. Occasionally it does get busy though, especially with Congee Wong in the same plaza. This restaurant only takes cash and debit - so make sure you have some on hand! If not, there's also a BMO a few shops down.

We were in the mood for some HK style milk tea and cafe style food, a quick yelp later and discovered this place right around us. This little cafe is located in the same plaza as a congee wong, so most of the time when we were in this plaza it was for congee wong and absolutely never noticed this place. We figured today was as good a day as any to try this place out. Upon first entering, the place was small but looked to be recently renovated. We were advised to grab a seat anywhere, which we did and perused the menu. My other half ordered the chefs daily special (three cups chicken), while I went for a different daily special (currry chicken steak). Both meals came with a clear broth soup. And I do mean clear, as in there was absolutely nothing in the bowl, not even a shred of meat or veggie. My other half meal came out with a huge plate of rice, and a disproportionately small bowl of the "main course"'. Mine came out on a same sized plate with same amount of rice with the curry chicken steak on top. We also both got our hot milk tea, which was quite decent and thick. It hit the spot, but beyond this there really wasn't anything endearing about this cafe. The food was decent, not bad not great. The service was lackluster, but not so bad to the point of annoyance. The servers tended to chat up what I assume to be "regulars" while we were largey ignored. It took us 4 times to flag someone down for the check. And it wasn't until we were nearly done our meal did our milk tea come out. Very minor, but as I said not so bad that we were annoyed, but a far cry from good. Prices were quite decent, total came out to 22 for the meal. Would I come back or recommend? This place would definitely not spring to mind. If someone said let's go here, I may err towards congee wong instead. Overall a very forgettable experience.

Good value for breakfast. Had the steak and egg with toast and hashbrown. Steak was small but for $9.50 it was expected. The sauce for the steak was good. The milk tea was silky smooth with great flavour. One of the best HK milk tea in my books.

Golden Flower Cafe is one of the numerous Hong Kong Style Cafes in the Richmond Hill area. I think eating at Hong Kong Style Cafes so much do make me cheap and so value concisous!! Such a good place for late lunch or early afternoon tea because their afternoon tea specials ($3.50 and up) starts at 2 pm over 20 items to pick from. My Fish Ball Noodles with drink ($3.99) is A-OK! Right portion to fill me up but not stuffing me full. Just wish they put in some veggie in the soup then it will be perfect! The ladies working here are all nice and cheerful, seems like there are a lot of regulars coming here. CASH only!

I came by on a Saturday morning around 8:30am and it was already packed. This place is always packed with people and that's a good sign. It's a small but perfect size for a Hong Kong style foods. They also recently renovated this place and it looks a lot better. The service of this place is really fast and friendly. I got the classic breakfast with toast, eggs and ham and another set with sausage instead of ham. It came with a hot drink but we got a cold drink for $1 more. The HK style milk tea or milk tea / coffee is a must try, its amazing compared to other places. The two breakfast sets only costed $15 after tips. I tend to do take-out here often for dinner and have tried most of the items, everything has been really yummy. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for HK style foods or even for a quick morning breakfast or lunch, it's cheap and worth the price.

This place brings back lots of good memories! Small Hong Kong style restaurant with a great selection of food, healthy tomato soup based noodles, friendly staff, clean & cozy environment. I ordered a Guilin Vermicelli/noodle soup and it totally hit the spot when I was craved something soupy but wasn't too heavy. It was made with a tomato-based soup broth, topped with minced meat, eggplant, and tomatos. Eventhough the menu advertised it was vermicelli (thin rice noodles), it ended up being a medium thick round noodle, but it actually tasted much better!! Had a side order of egg sandwich (untoasted bread) to go with it, as well as, a honey lemon water(came as a meal) to make my meal complete! This place has been here for a long time, and it never disappoints!

This place is a little far for me but worth the trip if your looking for Hainan Chicken. Pros: - Service: In the morning and lunch times are quick and fast. They are always efficient, but don't rush you to order. - Parking: Although the lot is small, I'm always able to find parking to eat here - Food: Food tastes great. Like I stated above, the Hainan Chicken is so good! Unfortunately one time I came here and the special rice was not prepared so I had other options. The Healthy Tomato Broth series is great for a hearty and not greasy meal in the morning. I also got a hot HK milk tea to go with but personally, they make the cold one so much better! Go with the cold! My partner got the Beef Vermicelli Soup, it was okay. It came with toast and butter. Cons: - The English speaking barrier was pretty hard. I tried to ask them what else is recommended on the menu but we had a hard time communicating - The rice for the Hainan Chicken was not prepared earlier but is available for breakfast time, this was a little disappointing but not a big deal Overall, will be coming back!

The menu here is reasonably priced for the HK cafe food that's available till 5pm. We were impressed by the huge portions & surprisingly good flavours. Curry Beef Brisket Rice was stewed well to achieve really tender tendons. These are still two of our go-to dishes here. For a decent dinner table like that, it's not cheap but okay . Each dish was cooked very well. Delicious and had wok hai. There will be a dessert after the meal, a bowl of tofu flower for each person. That dessert is a true hidden gem. Silky smooth and moderate sweetness and perfect warmth. We ended up getting the ham macaroni soup with a cheese ham sandwich combo, along with the O Street signature beef sandwich and fries from their new menu. Despite how busy it was on a Saturday, the food came out at a pretty reasonable speed, which I appreciated. The macaroni soup was just okay, very much the kind of simple comfort food that fills you up, but nothing especially memorable. I was most excited for the signature beef sandwich, but it didn't fully meet my expectations. The burger/sandwich itself was smaller than I imagined, and it only had about 2-3 pieces of beef brisket inside with marinated bell peppers and their homemade sauce. The sauce leaned sweeter than expected, which might work for some people, but personally I was hoping for something more savoury and more generous with the beef. However, the brisket was tender, which was a win... ish. Overall, still a decent spot if you're craving classic HK cafe vibes and variety, especially for a casual meal with family.
