I cannot believe that anyone would post anything except a five star review for this restaurant. It is awesome! We have been going there for a few years now. It is absolutely our favorite restaurant! We usually go once a week but with The pandemic well... We have never had anything but great service and great food at this place, not even one time, not once! My husband, my best friend, my family, we all agree it's the best! The owner and all her workers are the most down to earth friendly people. They must really be good people to work for because there's not much turnover with the waitresses and cooks. We have been dining there even when the boss is not in and the workers continue working as they do even when she is there. It seems like they are all just so committed to this business. The restaurant is decorated very nicely. I think the owner makes all these beautiful flower and seasonal arrangements herself. Very clean restaurant. Bathrooms are also very nice and ergonomically correct, ex: door opens out, soap and water work properly (unlike some restaurants). Oh yes there is one problem though. They need to expand so that they can fit a table in so we can all sit together in a large group! (Well, after Covid). UPDATE: just found out they do not offer curbside pick up. We are high risk seniors and are really disappointed to hear this. Can't wait for them to re-open! read more

Went to breakfast this past Friday Morning the coffee was so damn strong tasted like there was a horse foot in it. It was just unpalatable I thought to myself maybe it's just one bad cup so I asked for a 2nd cup yeah just as bad too damn strong & ordered a sausage omelette. I was hungry. I was very hungry. It was OK. But not spectacular like I expected a breakfast place to have if I had to give it a rating from 1 to 10 I would say five at Best. I was definitely not satisfied in anyway three people. It cost me $45 for breakfast. Holy smokes just not satisfied at all. I recommend going somewhere else. My waitress was chewing bubblegum at 9 o'clock in the morning that was kinda offputting. The food we ordered was actually very good. The young waitress was very pleasant also. I only had a problem with paying my check with a 100 dollar bill. We've always had great food here. We sometimes order carry out and the only problem was they never include syrup with pancakes or French toast. Of course it's something you would expect to be included with this type of order. Other than that, we enjoy the food! They are usually pretty friendly on the phone when we place an order. Food is ready pretty quick for pick up! We definitely will keep ordering from here but next time we get pancakes or French toast, we will ask for syrup! read more

We stopped going. The prices have gone way up. I can find the same meal cheaper elsewhere. Also, they don't complete the meal if it's to go. You only get 2 of the three sides but if you eat in you get it all for the same price. ‍‍ What the hell? The place had higher quality food and good prices a few years ago. Good coney style food. Such a disappointment that they have upped all of their prices by $3-4. The whole point of this spot is good diner food at a good bargain. Now the dinners here are as much as outback. Omlets that we're $8.25 are now 11.35. Everything is ridiculously high. It's cheaper and more consistent to go to Leo's Coney Island. read more

Luck 'O The Irish! My visit today was on March 17, the revered St. Patrick's Day. I looked at the daily specials menu and spied Corned Beef & Cabbage on the menu for $9.95. Sounds good! It came with soup *and* salad. I ordered the green salad with ranch dressing. My soup selection was Split Pea. My waitress was attentive and brought the food with excellent timing. The split pea soup arrived in good time, along with a bread and cracker basket. The soup was great. Unlike many of you, I'm not a salad eater. I eat it because it's free. I prefer that the animals eat salad. Then I eat the animals. Anyway, I ate my salad. It was good. I shouldn't have eaten that salad! The corned beef and cabbage was placed in front of me. I needed more room to accommodate this large platter of food I was looking at. There goes the bikini figure I was working to achieve - I'll play the part of 'beached whale' this summer. The corned beef was good, the cabbage was good, the split boiled potato was good. The carrots with onions were good. A fitting meal for a king (of the road). You know what comes next. The much anticipated Clean Plate Club® reward - dessert! I selected Rainbow Sherbet (only one 'r' in sherbet folks). Rainbow on this St. Patrick's Day - hoping to see the pot-of-gold at the end of the rainbow. The sherbet was good, a great way to finish my meal. Unfortunately, that pot-of-gold never arrived and the Luck 'O The Irish failed me. When the bill came, they were kind enough to show me where the kitchen was. And I can attest that their dishes and other tableware are cleaned to the highest standards! Finally tried this place. It's my go to now for fish and chips. Real Cod. Cooked to perfection. A bargain these days at $14. Includes soup, and salad. Everything was fresh. Inflation has hit everyone. Been looking for good Fish and Chips since my last favorite place changed their fish AND increased prices. I know my seafood ( and food in general having delivered to almost every restaurant in the tri county area.) This place is top notch quality. I can't say enough. Looking forward to trying out other dishes. They treated me like a lifelong Customer. They have my Loyalty now.,The Owner made a point of explaining the cooking process. One was no cheap unhealthy seed oil. Quality fresh shortening instead. Like chicken, that's the key to consistent tasty results. Makes all the difference. Never a burnt old oily taste. It was one of the best tasting Cod I've ever had. It's hard to find these days. Staff was very helpful. Positive attitude. Just a great experience. I highly recommend trying this place. Cute little place. We have always noticed it driving by because we live in the area but never stopped until tonight. The waitress was nice. She seemed to know a lot of the other diners in the restaurant tonight. So it seems like a homely place. The menu did have a lot of different things. But I wasn't feeling that hungry so I just got a cup of chicken noodle soup and some pita bread. The soup was really good, seemed homemade but not sure. Pita bread was good. I've had a little bit of a Greek obsession lately. Came in for lunch for a Greek salad and possibly a gyro sandwich. The service is amazing here. Everyone is so friendly. It has kind of a family diner type feel. I got the golden Greek salad with chicken. The large salad can literally feed 2 people but it was really great. Chicken wasn't dry and the dressing was really good too. (Make sure to get the dressing on the side because it's a huge salad) My fiancé wanted a gyro sandwich but decided not to get it because the gyro meat isn't the kind that gets cut from the spindle. But he got a fried chicken pita and was so surprised at how fantastic the sandwich was. Very pleased with our visit and will be back with pictures next time! read more

One of our favorite places to eat. Big portion of spinach pie, which you don't find often. Love their soups. Wait staff is great. We come here often as a family, if we are in the area it's our go to restaurant. We all usually order the same thing, and don't often stray. But very much an old school diner specializing in Greek food. Dinner portions served with soup or salad and bread. I feel like places like this are disappearing, it's nice to see a classic still around. A lot of regulars and people who come back again and again. This place has been around since I was a kid. I recommend it for any meal. Recently I had the large Golden Greek Special salad (insert Seinfeld big salad joke here) and it was perfect-loaded with feta, olives, pepperocini and beets and topped with a delicious grilled chicken. They have a kids menu too, which is a plus. My son loves their hot dog and the gumball machine on the way out! read more

Well, perhaps I have to try more than what I had when I checked out this little diner but I wasn't necessarily impressed yet I was not disappointed either. I went here for breakfast and got french toast and hash browns both of which were tasty but nothing was special about it. I saw a ton of omlettes on the menu. They also had a menu full of other things you could get for lunch or dinner which I didn't check out. So If you want a average yet good breakfast this place is okay. I would say that for breakfast that the Country Inn is just as good if not better when it comes to certain aspects. The prices were average here but I did think it was kinda steep to charge about 3 bucks for a side of bacon. Those five star ratings may be legit but for me this place only gets 3. I have had better breakfast before but at least it was not a bad experience by any means. read more
