This restaurant has changed hands recently and reverted back to being Zorba's. This location is always clean & always serves good food, no matter when I visit. Oralia was my gracious server this evening. I ordered the Chicken Sicilian dinner on the specials page. My choice of salad was delivered quickly, and the dinner came shortly thereafter. With the included bread pudding dessert, my meal was an excellent topping to a long week. My dining partner this evening had the Roast Turkey special with mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberry sauce. I drooled from across the table as that meal disappeared bite by bite, followed by rice pudding dessert. All in all it was a nice meal for two. I recommend! read more

I have tried this place several times with the same results because it's close to my home, but the food is mid level flavorful. The decor is standard 80's feel. The service is lacking with very unwelcoming hostess and waitress. The food is severely overpriced for the portion sizes. I would not eat here again. read more

Decent breakfast joint, probably best in the area. I've been here twice, and everything I've had has been good. The waitresses are nice, and it's usually busy with patrons. Never again. On New Year's Day I ordered a BLT with extra crispy bacon, romaine lettuce instead of iceberg lettuce on wheat bread. What I got was half raw bacon, iceberg lettuce on White bread. I also ordered a quart of bean soup and I literally got five beans in the soup. read more

I went in craving a German Baked Apple Pancake, I know it take 25-30 min to make no issues there The pancake came out all wrong. Apple just mixed into the batter. No camalized apples in butter sugar cinnamon mix, when I talked or the waitress and showed her a picture of how it should be made to show the cook. Had carry out from here last night. We ordered 30 minutes before close and got there about ten minutes prior to them closing for the night. I didn't realize they close at 8 buuut they accepted the order thankfully because it's right around the corner from where my boyfriend lives. I'm really glad we ended up trying this place because it was delicious! I got the chicken strip pita with chicken lemon rice soup and it was so good! My boyfriend got the chicken Alfredo and said it was great too (I won't review it because I don't care for Alfredo). The inside was cute and half of it reminded me of 80's decor the other half looked a little more updated. The two sections are separated by the entrance. I've lived in the area for years but have only recently started coming here and so far, the food is incredibly delicious and surprisingly creative. I expected the typical menu items you'd find in a Coney Island type of restaurant but they have so much more. Ingredients are always fresh and flavorful and the staff is very friendly. I made the mistake of going there for breakfast Saturday morning. My wife ordered steak and eggs. Steak med rare. She got a steak well done. We called the waitress who agreed. When she went back to the kitchen to ask for a cup to make another one we heard a very loud arguing. The Cook was very angry and was yelling at her. At that point I went to the door by the kitchen and inform them that if I could hear him yelling from the dining area I did not want to eat there. The cook ended up coming out and arguing with me, trying to give me a lame excuse that if the steak was cooked any less it would be bloody. We asked for a medium rare steak and we were aware of what a medium rare steak looks like. The Greek Menu is only 3 items... thank God they had dinner specials... ordered my lamb shanks that I was craving. Wife orders spinich pie and daughter gets alfredo. Let me tell you, the food was horrible. Shank was slimy and hard, portion size was small and was not worth the money even if it was cooked fresh and tasted good... which it wasn't and didn't. Spinich pie, undercooked and wet! Confusing menu in a place with a Greek name. Just a hodge podge menu at best. Don't waste your time or money in here. When there are no customers under 60, and there are only 2 tables with people... should have told me not to bother. read more

Inedible breakfast. First, the atmosphere. When you walk in the door (on the side), there is a large square room to the right - there were a few tables of people in that room. We were seated in a small hallway-type room with booths along the windows only, with no one in that room but us. Decor, meh. Got menus, coffee, and water quickly. Started to open the menus when we were asked what we wanted to order......Were asked 3 more times within the next 3 minutes. Finally, with all that pressure, saw the Eggs Benedict and without looking at the next pages (no time), ordered that. The menu said the Eggs Benedict came with cheese on it - I ordered it without -- and it did come without the nasty "American Cheese Food Product" plastic-peel squares that came inside my husband's omelet. When we left, I had not eaten - had to make breakfast when we got home - and my husband ended up eating at home too. The Zorba's version of "Eggs Benedict" came on a smaller than normal-sized plate, so small the fork could not be rested on the side of the plate while eating and sauce spilled over while trying to slice into the "muffin", egg/ham/sauce thing. The "English Muffin" was some sort of spongy-cardboard gummy thing, a disgusting piece reminiscent of Wonder Bread that's been squished. So bad that after one bite I almost spit it out. I removed that "English Muffin" from my plate first, to one of the extra napkins we'd had to ask for. Then the sauce - slimy greasy tasteless (except the tablespoon of salt I think went into that 1/2 cup of sauce) - so I scraped that off the eggs too. I was thinking, if I send this back, what in the world will I get to replace it with? My husband's omelet wasn't looking too good, either............ After removing the sauce AND the "English Muffin", I now had some ham (not Canadian Bacon) that was the saltiest ham I've ever had - but at least not gristly, a plus - and 2 overdone poached eggs. That's it. And it was hard to get the slimy salt-sauce off of everything. I didn't eat it. It was actually inedible. The waitress came over to ask how things were, and I didn't want to embarrass my husband - he NEVER complains, I know, I know, bad situation - so I just said it wasn't good and I couldn't eat it, instead of telling them what I REALLY thought, no details. She didn't ask if she could get me something else. I mean, the muffin is off the plate now, the sauce scraped to the side, and 2 bites of ham and 1 bite of egg missing from the plate, and the plate is pushed aside.....and the waitress asks, then says, "oh" when told it was not edible, and leaves. My husband got an omelet loaded with meat and fake cheese product that didn't even melt. They don't have actual cheese - only plastic-peel cheese product. He said his omelet was edible. but only ate about 1/4 of it and didn't even want to take it home to feed some of the bacon to our old cat, who loves a bit of bacon now and then. The omelet looked overcooked to me, and my husband said it was "kinda dry". The toast, supposedly "rye", looked like thick Wonder Bread. We paid almost $20 for that. No one offered to take ANY AMOUNT off the bill at all. And, yes, my husband doesn't like conflict of any sort so we paid. Don't go to Zorbas. It is not worth the money, the time, the fact you leave without eating, or the stomach ache that would happen if you DID manage to choke some down. Triple ICK factor. read more

So glad this place is open and it's so very close to home! It has become out go to. Breakfast, lunch, dinner... It's All good. The food is fresh, and they run daily specials. The regulars know what days to come for what and sometimes they sell out of their specials... I think this is a good thing!! We generally have amazing service. One time on did we have a younger girl who was clearly not impressed to be there and complained about everything we asked for. It was off putting but the food is delish, so not so much that we wouldn't go back!! Everyone else has always been extremely friendly, the place is very clean and the prices reasonable. Ordered take out- 1st time visiting. Ordered the beef kabob cooked medium dinner, rice and a baby greek with no onion. Got well done hard rubbery burnt beef on a stick and the sauce on the rice was like warmed salsa out of a jar. Baby Greek had onion all over it and the dressing was sour. Dinner date had a bacon burger and fries which was decent but nothing special. Ranch dressing was thrown into the trash right away tasted like sugery mayo.
