New place in town. Went in on day two of being open. Friendly staff and comfortable setting. Ended up trying Violet's Dream, the Cajeta French Toast and the Chicken Pesto sandwich. Violet's Dream has a great presentation (sorry no picture) taste is amazing. The Belgium waffle is fluffy and light, fruit toppings are well balanced not overly sweet. Cajeta French Toast was good light drizzle of Cajeta (a little like a caramel sauce) and powered sugar. Toast is well done, again not an overly sweet dish, which is nice to have. The Chicken Pesto sandwich was really good. The pesto did not overpower the whole meal as some usually do. Sourdough was well toasted. The chicken, fresh tomato and mozzarella cheese are well balanced. This place is definitely worth trying. I'll be back for a taste of other menu items.

The 2026 B-EHS Football Seniors and their moms went to the GHC on 10/19 for a special outing! Only 1 out of 20 people had been there before so it was a new experience for all of us! The staff knew we were coming and accommodated all of us so well! The coffee and special drinks were fantastic, the food was AMAZING and the environment was so cozy and comforting! Definitely wanted to support a small business and bring the community together and everyone will be going back for sure as a quaint place to go for a special and delicious meal, which is guaranteed! We are so grateful to Betsy and crew for their blessing us!

Did not honor free drink vouchers, won from the Grand opening celebration. No expiration listed. Will not be back, will not recommend.

While you're waiting you can go to the shop down the stairs or go to the dessert area right next to the waiting area to get some great desserts. Last time i was there I saw frosted cream cheese sugar cookies, and pies, and more. When you get seated there are so many great food options, lots of options, same with drinks. They are only open until 3:30 pm so be sure to manage time well. And don't expect an empty place, it's usually populated. Tight space, so scoot in those chairs as far as you can. Staff were laid back, and nice. When they're busy make sure to be patient with the staff, they're dealing with tons of other orders as well.

We had breakfast there last Wednesday morning, and from the moment we arrived, it felt special. The outside is adorable, but somehow the inside is even more charming. There's such a warm, welcoming energy the second you walk in. Off to the side is their incredible shop, "Re-Feather Your Nest," filled with thousands of unique and beautiful items--it honestly feels like a destination all on its own. To the left when you enter, you're greeted by their bakery cases, and wow--there are more options than most bakeries I've ever seen. Everything looked amazing, and we were lucky enough to be seated right away (always a win!). The restaurant itself is two stories, and our table overlooked the store below, which made the whole experience even more fun. We started with their famous cinnamon roll, fresh coffee (with the cutest little design on top!), and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice--which was incredibly refreshing. For breakfast, I ordered the Calico Benedict on a homemade English muffin with corned beef--so good! And the country-style potatoes? Easily some of the best I've ever had. I couldn't even finish them and happily took the rest home...they were just as delicious the next day. My husband ordered the Breakfast Sampler with sausage and loved every bite as well. What really stood out, beyond the food, was how clean everything was and how genuinely happy the staff seemed. You can tell they enjoy working there, and that makes such a difference. After breakfast, we wandered through the gift shop and found so many unique treasures--big and small. I actually visited Magnolia in Waco, Texas a couple of months ago, and honestly, this is the kind of charming, personality-filled place that would fit right in there (and maybe even outshine it!). If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by--even if it's just to browse the shop. It's one of those rare places that truly has it all. A must-visit!

They just opened a few days ago and will be celebrating their official grand opening next week. I popped over tonight and enjoyed a lovely glass of French chenin blanc and their tasty "cheese of the day" which was served on the world's cutest little charcuterie board along with crackers and a healthy drizzle of honey. It was the perfect bite with the perfect glass of wine. I was excited to meet the adorable owner, Candace, who hails from Anacortes and recent relocated back to the Skagit Valley after years of event planning in New York. Folks, this gal knows her stuff. It was delightful to sit at the counter and learn about her and her business. Can't wait to come back! Next week for their grand opening they'll be hosting international wine tastings every night. And don't forget to ask about the wine club!
