My favorites include the broccoli beef, honey chicken, fried crunch chicken (juicy and fresh), walnut spinach salad, and shrimp balls! What I love about this place is the quality of their food, freshness, tastes delicious, and not salty like a lot of other buffet places are! The price is ridiculously cheap. And you come in here like, whoa, that's a bargain. But then you start eating the seafood around here and you get a little reluctant to eat some of the things around here. Maybe there isn't a high turn-over of customers? I have no clue. When we came here, there was at least half the place with big crowds of families. Maybe it's because I cook. And I know what good food and adequately prepared food tastes like. I have no clue, but the food wasn't up to par in my opinion -- even for a buffet. I tried the crab legs... and usually I don't like cold crab legs but I still eat them. I don't know, I just couldn't eat their crab legs. It was just not good. I saw one of the employees... putting desserts on display... and she didn't seem to enjoy it. I don't know about you, if an employee doesn't put love into their dishes, what does that say about the food you eat? I think it's very good food for the money. Has a lot of shrimp. I enjoy the soft crab. Has tuna and salmon sashimi. This is a very good chinese buffet. Went a few times for lunch @ $8.59 per person (drinks extra). At this price point it is extremely worth it. Seriously, don't expect michelin star food for what you are paying. I see some negative reviews over quantity over quality. Of you want to eat quality food then go to joel robuchon and spend $1k. You are spending under $10...dont complain...anyways, the baked salmon was very fresh and tasty. Also they have Krispy Krunchy fried chicken!!! This is what drew me in to this buffet in the first place. They have the usual chinese fares and sushi. The dessert station has soft serve and a few different cakes, banana pudding and even flan. Horrible service, we were about to start eating and that's when a big party came so they wanted to move us just to put the big party first even though we were here and had paid already. Its definitely pretty good for $12, just done expect high quality food items. Sushi is the best out of all other buffets, handroll is okay. Some times i just felt like they were very average. This wasn't the first we have been here, but it was the first time I was embarrassed by the person working here. My partner brought a plate of shrimp back to our table to share and I ate one that was mushy and tasted off (kinda like freezer burn). Same thing happened with my partner. The aisle is a bit narrow on the row of tables next to the buffet. They have a chocolate fountain! The quality of the food is better than most Chinese buffets I've been to, probably because they just opened. The skewers are nice and moist, and there is a decent variety of hot and cold foods. Normally, I stay away from any fish at these places, but the cooked fish looked enticing and didn't have an old fishy taste. Prices are $7.99 for weekday lunch, $10.99 for dinner. $11.99 for all day on weekends. You pay before you enter, which I think is a great idea because it allows the employees to spend more time to clean and pick up plates. All of the employees were friendly despite the hot weather. I thought the quality of the the food was better than most places. They were restocking the food often, and it tasted pretty fresh and flavorful. They do not have a hibachi section, though. There is also a drink section so you can fill up your cups whenever you like, unlike most buffets where you have to ask for refills. The desserts were average. And like all buffets, you have to consider the flies flying around the restaurant. You can also take the food to-go. They price it by lbs. Update: the first time I went I was really pleased. The second time, which was today Im putting this 2 stars lower. Sushi man is rude, does he own this place? The first Asian Buffet in Baldwin Park, place look fancy I guess because the place is new. But wait till you get seated, we came on a weekday I'm surprise that place is pretty busy the problem is that there are only 2 attendants working which they are responsible for picking up dirty plates from tables from customers and cleaning up dirty tables so to make things short table and chairs are not cleaned properly because they need to sit customers fast. Drinks are self service including water, I saw one customer (old guy)washing his hands by the soda fountain with water .Food is okay nothing really special typical Chinese buffet, which is I think it's just good with the price. My main concerns are their utensils they are not cleaned properly plates are dirty I took a few pictures with left overs on them.
