Soapy water by all the toilets

Where to even start, the fact that we were hungry we didn't care and we thought this place would be good. Wrong! The minute we walked in it was like customer service was out the window no greeting just how many and you pay now. Then we sit down in a ripped seated booth got up went straight for the crab legs and sushi which was the only good thing about this buffet. There were multiple occasions that we were not done with our plates and the server came and took them like what the hell is that about smh. Tried a couple more items they were either hard stale smelled and tasted fishy or just smelled bad. I wish I could have gotten my money back but I gave up. We had our fill of sushi and crab legs went to wash our hands where I almost slipped because they decided to throw soapy water by the toilets to start cleaning them for the night. They close at 9pm and we were leaving at 8:15. How this place stays open I have no idea but we will never be back. Good luck eat at your own risk

Good price, it's good if you care more about Quantity rather than Quality. Don't touch the sushi. The egg tarts were surprisingly good tho. You pay upfront at they have lunch discounts.

The food is ok, no roast duck, BBQ pork, roast pork, beef chow fun, wonton noodle those classic Chinese food, a few selections of sushi rolls, and the Mexican chef doing the Mongolian part took care all the Mexican customers' plates before mine, even the ones behind me got their plates done ahead of me, unlike what he did to all the Mexican customers' plates, all he did to mine was just pour out food to the pan and leave them there, didn't even flip the food once, definitely discriminate. The service was below average, the waitress wouldn't pour water, she just brought the pot over and told us we got to do it ourselves. We paid $30 per person and this was all we got. Very disappointed I will never come back again.

Still one of the better "all you can eat" buffet in San Gabriel for the price and if you're a senior, make sure you ask for your senior discount it's 18+ dollars, ambience is great, food at lunch if you like seafood or not? You're still getting a good deal and if you're into seafood, you can try dinner, it verys at lunch but You get a little bit more seafood but there's still a great amount of seafood during lunch it's worth every penny. Staff are welcoming -ladies upfront. eat all you can my friend and enjoy....

Our first time at Gold Hibachi Buffet. We attended a graduation party on a Saturday held in a private room in the back that seats over 100 people. The graduation party was held from 4pm to 9pm. They served dinner buffet. The private room also has a projector and live band. The food options at Gold Hibachi Buffet was plentiful. Starting with the drinks they offered Thai Milk Tea, Olong Milk Tea and Passion Milk Tea along with other fountain drinks. They also offer several flavors of ice cream. As for the main dishes they offer different types of seafood with both crabs and crab legs, shrimp, prawns and fish to name a few and shrimp tempura. They also have a good selection of sushi, fruits and vegetable salad. They offer both beef and chicken dishes along with soups and sweet and meat buns like siopao. Its very busy on a Saturday as the place is packed. Lots of tables and chairs on the main floor. There's also another room on the left side of the buffet when you came in through the doors. I noticed the food disappears fast. Replenishment of food also goes out on the trays quickly. Great staff! The workers are also quick to pick up enmity plates. We don't mind visiting Gold Hibachi Buffet again when we are on this side of town.

Food here was good and delicious. Nothing much to say here just because when my family and I visited this Buffet it was just good and delicious and that everything was cooked perfectly. I would only say that their All You Can Drink Thai Tea Drink was just not so good. Just needs a little bit more sweetness. Hopefully they can add some boba as well, now that would be a PLUS for me! The service was fast and efficient and the staffs were so welcoming when we entered the front doors. The ambiance itself was nice and beautiful. They added new light fixtures and it looked like this place was a High-class buffet lol. It wasn't too noisy but it was good because there wasn't that much people yet when we arrived. Would definitely recommend this place if you're into AYCE Buffets.

Asian buffet with typical choices. I like the coconut shrimp and the baked crab shell. The desserts were not labeled though. Too risky for people with food allergies. All in all an ok experience. Thank you!

    Fresh Fruits.

Food is all good, so many choices to pick from, sushi and the grill too. Greetings from all who work there, fast clean up on tables, deserts and ice cream too! Plenty of room for big parties too! We enjoyed the food and folks! (Hint go early so u see all the Freshness of the food and less traffic... We went during lunch time, cannot wait next time for Dinner time) Thank you ...

It's what you expect from an all you can eat seafood buffet. Good selection. Decent service. Clean facilities. Price was okay. They have a hibachi bar where you can put together your own noodle plate and they will cook it for you right there on the flat grill. I thought it was cool that they had Thai Tea on tap and include unlimited drinks with your meal. They also had a large ice cream selection that was pretty decent. We were invited here for a birthday and they played a bday song over the speakers and brought out an angel food cake with a candle. Nothing really wowed me but I would come here again if invited.

    DESERT of endless strawberries!!

I came here because I needed to wait 2 hours at Costco to get my tires changed. I also needed a place to use the internet so good hibachi buffet was very generous. It's a great place to spend that waiting time plus there's plenty of food. I wish I walked around the whole place because I missed the sushi section. I didn't really stuff myself but I do think the price is justified.

With the cost of groceries, gas, and dining out continuing to climb, people are looking for a place where they can get a good meal without spending a fortune. This place fits the bill. If you come before 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, lunch is around $15. That's about what you'd spend on a burger, fries, and a drink at some fast-food chains these days, except here you get an entire buffet with plenty of choices. The salad bar is well stocked and includes fresh fruit. They also have sushi rolls and nigiri. Is it sushi restaurant quality? No. But considering that one specialty roll at a sushi restaurant can cost $12-$16 by itself, it's a nice bonus. My favorite item is fried chicken. It's crispy, flavorful, and consistently juicy. I would gladly pay the lunch price just for the chicken. They also serve a very good pot roast, meaty pork ribs, and on Fridays they have a surprisingly good rib roast. Those are just a few of the highlights because there are plenty of other dishes to choose from. As for the staff, most of the employees appear to be young and may be working their first job. The cooks aren't trying to be gourmet chefs, they focus on preparing the buffet items well, and overall, they do a good job keeping the food coming despite how busy the restaurant gets. If you're looking for a fine dining experience prepared by professionally trained chefs, this probably isn't the place for you. But if your goal is to enjoy a wide variety of good food at a price that's hard to beat in today's economy, this buffet is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for a crowd, that's usually a sign they're doing something right.

We did have to wait in line before getting seated. The wait wasn't too long for our party of 7 as it took maybe 15 min or so. The food was okay. It's what you would expect from an AYCE buffet like this. It's maybe on par with the likes of Golden Corral or Hometown Buffet (from back in the day). The highlight things to eat may be the made-to-order Mongolian BBQ where you load up your bowl with veggies, protein (chicken, pork, shrimp, beef, etc), noodles, and seasonings. Hand it over to the staff cook and they hand you a pager to notify you when done. The other food highlight may be the Japanese sushi area. While not the highest quality of ingredients, it was still decent for the price of the buffet and the fact that there's a staff member making the sushi rolls consistently rather than just leaving a bunch out in a tray to get old and dry. Definitely might be an even better deal as a lunch AYCE option. But for dinner it's still nice to go to.

All I can say is, this place checks every box on a diner's list looking for true cost savings and a diverse array of dishes. The seniors have voted. The hibachi stall offering steaks, pork chops, pork bellies , Shrimp to be honest taste no less better than what Red Rock was trying to do with its grilled steaks. The sushi here is surprisingly fresh and Trumps Luxe Buffett in Ontario in terms of food freshness. Soft drinks like pepsi, brisk raspberry, dr pepper were included and self serve. Soft serve ice cream (very mid) and green tea/black tea unsweetened as well. Salad bar had a lot of options and seafood. Kale, bok choy, napa cabbage, spinach, crown daisy/tong ho, mushrooms, kabocha, onion, quail eggs, ramen noodles, japchae noodles, clams, mussels, shrimps, crawfish. Tbh there were so many options which I was really satisfied with. You can tell this place is korean owned. I liked that their meats were very thinly sliced and cooked very fast in the broth. My favorite was the chuck eye. I liked the filet but the slices were too small to enjoy. So about that interaction.. in the beginning when we were getting our soup order taken, we were asking if there is spicy miso available. The server said they have miso and spicy sauce that they can mix together to make a spicy miso broth. We said we wanted to try it first to see if we like it before committing, bc she said that if we wanted to change our broth it would be a $2 or$3 (?)surcharge. (idont remember how much she said but she also said if we wanted to mix different broths in our pots it would be fine but changing out the entire pot for a new pot is an upcharge which didnt make sense to me..) She said yes and was helpful but she mixed some spicy sauce (which was very very spicy like capsaicin sauce) and the cold miso broth together and let us try it. She said if we wanted we can also mix the miso and spicy beef together. She was honestly trying her best to be helpful but trying cold spicy broth like that was very offputting LOL. We ended up doing the spicy beef broth instead and just didnt deal with the miso anymore. I thought the spicy beef reminded me of doeniang korean soybean paste stew. I think this was a nice place to try but this korean style shabu isn't what I'm going for when I'm looking to eat shabu! I felt this was pretty similar to Shabuya, but I personally might prefer that over this spot :p For the variety, I think it's worth a try if you haven't tried it yet!

They said it was worth the 40 dollars and they filled their bellies with multiple plates. My girlfriend said the shrimp did not taste good or fresh. All of the other food- i tried most of the other items, but I honestly only enjoyed one row of selection: the stir fry area. This included chow mein, beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, and black pepper beef. This was the most flavorful and fresh set of flavors I experience during. My dinner. Also, the chicken wings were cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they needed sauce. Fuji buffet offers quite a few sauces, but none paired well with the wings. Also the restaurant provided 4 giant bottles of sauce, but they were not all labeled and they were admittedly dirty on the outside. In short- they were slippery to the point where they slide out of my grip. Also, the bottles had sauce dripping outside of them and needed to be clean. So, I decided to pass on them. The desert area was nice, but the items did not feel or taste fresh. The cream puffs were soggy and the tiramisu fell flat. Either all of these things considered 3/5 for sea food lovers. 2/5 for sea food avoiders
