I used to come here all the time with my family. It's been about a year and a half since we have come and we decided to stop by and it was a big mistake .. First I want to point out the some big health violations 1) The drink dispenser is atrocious. There is mold growing out of the ice dispenser and I so wanted to take the soda nozzle apart to take a look but I was scared of what I would find. 2) The rice scoop sitting in the water that is not temp controlled. Who know's how long that has been sitting there 3) The desserts are sitting on an ice block, I'm not sure why the sushi isn't!! I wonder how many people have gotten sick from this. Who know's how long anything has been sitting there. Most of the meats were pretty hard and dry. Every thing was super salty. Except for the clam chowder, which needed more salt. Utensils sitting in dirty containers. The whole place could use a damp cloth running through it. This place is not that busy and they have so many employees sitting and standing around. We were asked if we were going to be consuming soft drinks or water. At first I thought it was a little strange to ask since at other buffets drinks are typically included with the buffet price. Mu eldest son treated us here after our doctors appointment. Was greeted, informed us can choose we're to sit since early since they just open. Everything was so yummy and delicious. My favorite was their rice noodles we as Filipino call it Pansit cooked perfectly not greasy. BBQ Pork. Orange Chicken, Fried chicken, all the seafood cooked or fresh was all good. My friends suggested to have dinner at Golden Panda Buffet. It was my first time there and my friends were very helpful. You paid upfront before you are seated. The place was spacious and clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They were walking around to take empty plates or to clean tables. There were wide selection of food. The buffet included; pizza, fried chicken, beef and broccoli, many fresh sushi rolls, Crab legs, sautéed shrimp, honey walnut shrimps, butterfly shrimp, baked salmon, rice, chow mein, salads, fruits, desserts, ice cream and more. The food was very fresh. The staff who were working behind the open buffet were bringing more fresh and hot food very frequently. The place was packed on Friday night. The staff were really amazing, they cleaned tables very frequently. At the end, one of the staff brought us fortune cookies and asked us if we wanted to take a picture together, so she can take it. I've been here several times with my in laws for their lunch deals for seniors. The food is ok, nothing fancy or over the top. The last time we went the food did not taste too great compared to all the other times. We went around 12:30 on a Wednesday too. It's never really busy but an ample amount of people. I usually go for the fried shrimps, stir fry bok choy, clam (pretty small in size), baked mussels, one of their salmon (forgot the name but it's in a red sauce) is pretty good. There were several items missing from the weekend menu. 3 different kinds of shrimp and the beef ribs. Still a good value. You can easily spend $12-13 dollars for a burger combo at Wendy's or Jack in the Box. I really love the Hot & Sour soup, Baked Mussels, the Fried Chicken is pretty good too. On a humorous side note I saw 4 one star reviews with the same picture of a roach on the handle of the food tongs hahahaha cmon roaches gotta eat too! Just kidding. I came here at 5pm on a weekday. Place was pretty dim, not much ppl. I wasn't greeted at the door, and surprisingly I saw multiple staffs (cashier, waitress, sushi station, dessert stations...) were their phone instead of really managing their stations/roles. Sushi off the bat was poorly maintained. Avocados were darkened which already telling me it was not made fresh. Was really angered me was how those sushi trays were not even on ice (raw salmon and others just on countertop). Fruit trays, however, were on ice so not sure who thought about sushi trays are kept room temperature on plain counter? The dessert station are literally baked goods like store bought... The whole atmosphere was ok, but not that terrible. Waitress did fine with clearing dirty plates on time, but never did she interact with us at all even though I left a tip. I also noticed how workers were not wearing gloves when they handled food trays. One lady by the dessert station: one hand on phone talking while other hand literally touching jello (contamination) when she was moving the plates around. I had a poor experience. The waiting area is quite small so we chose to wait outside till the whole group was here. Had to pay before being seated. Many places to sit, but since we were a big group, we were seated at the end of the buffet (dessert area) which was fine. You will find dishes underneath the food stations which was really convenient. The utensils were at the dessert area. Drinks can be found at the beginning of the buffet which was the sushi area. The cups will come from your server. Different colored cups for the water and the soda. Many different options for food like: sushi, salad, veggies, soup, seafood (crab), chicken, and dessert (cookies, flan, sesame balls, cheesecake). I like how they cut the dessert into tiny pieces because I'm so full after eating the food and it helps that the desserts won't get wasted. My boyfriend asked the staff for more and a lady just scraped the bottom and gave him a small bowl. He asked her to see if there's anymore at the back, she said she's not making more for the night.
