It's the day after Christmas, if i had thought about THAT, i'd have figured they were busy. My order arrived almost an hour after i placed my order. The cheese was set on the Cheeseburger Pizza. It's busy. In store purchase is your chance for a fresh hot gooey slice burning the roof of your mouth. The crust is even, cooked well, and was not made with cold dough. There may have been some yeast left alive, in the dough, before it went in the oven. No bubbles. The toppings are balanced and arranged with artistry. Look at those slices. The chicken parmesan sub is loaded. it was toasted i hesitated when i touched it, because it seemed a little soft, maybe soggy. it had NOT lost its integrity. As i enjoyed it, i noticed that it wasn't soggy. The soft grid-like flakey crust confirmed it had been toasted just right. There may have more of the menu i try, the more confident i am in the cooks. This is officially number 2 on my #worcesterpizzaquest. I have always been scared to order from here due to the horrific yelp reviews but last night I took the plunge. It's for the quest. We had already eaten a tremendous amount of food on that particular day so I went a bit light and ordered a small pie with garlic and olives. I threw in a (large) side order of curly fries because I cannot ever resist those curly, crispy, wisps of heaven. The food came really quick. Much quicker than our go-to asian place which we had ordered earlier in the day. Put to shame, actually. This was actually the first time I can remember that the pizza was still hot. I have not for the life of me been able to obtain that sweet pull picture with any delivery pizza UNTIL THIS. The garlic was fresh, raw garlic. The cheese was copious and the sauce was plentiful. The crust wasn't particularly crispy but not soggy either. It was a great pizza. The curly fries were crispy and tasted AMAZING. I liked the option to order both a small, little bullshit portion, and a large I-am-making-this-a-meal portion. Out of all the "golden pizza" locations this is by far THE WORST! I ordered from here once and they messed up my order, when I called to try to get it corrected they argued with me about it, luckily I had placed the order online and had an email receipt confirming what I actually asked for so they corrected the issue. Like a fool I decided to give them a second chance and this time my order didn't come at all. When I called to ask where my food was they said "you shouldn't place orders online because we don't look at those, if you want an order you should call it in" WHY DO YOU HAVE THE OPTION FOR ONLINE ORDERS IF YOU ARE NOT EVEN LOOKING AT THEM?!?!? Twice now in the last 2 months I've ordered an Italian sub from the Lincoln Street location and the Genoa salami was RANCID. I just called a spoke to someone about it. Even after I made it clear I was only seeking to inform them of what happened, but I was I not offered a refund, and I should have been offered one, but there was absolutely NO attempt to make good on this problem. I ordered my food at around 1 am, picked it up around 15 minutes later, and by the time I discovered there was a problem, they were closed. Guess I need to have my bank reverse the charges. Very disappointing. I was told "we cut our meat daily". Like, SO? The meat could arrived bad, it could have been packaged bad, it could have gone bad while it was there... it literally doesn't matter when it was cut if it went bad before that. I'm going start off by saying not only is this a review, but also a public apology to the guy that answers the phone. I did an online order that I thought I set up for delivery, but somehow got switched to pickup. I don't how, but in the end I should have looked closer at the receipt. I called up and was a complete, inexcusable jerk. (I don't know how the site takes swearing in reviews, but seriously, it should be a much stronger word.) The guy stood up for himself but never swayed from being professional to me even though I didn't give him the same courtesy. After going full "Karen" on the poor guy, he sent my pizzas to be delivered by an equally patient and professional driver. That being said, the pizzas were delicious, and if I can ever recover from my shame I'll oder from them again. Horrendous service. Ordered delivery a couple weeks ago- one small mediterranean pizza, one small extra cheese pizza, steak and cheese fries, and a pint of Ben and Jerry's Phish Food ice cream. Got our order, left a tip, and sat down for dinner. My pizza, the extra cheese pizza, was severely undercooked and mushy. The steak and cheese fries were made with bacon instead of cheese, I don't eat bacon so that sucked. (See first picture) We then realized we didn't receive the ice cream so we called the store to complain about the undercooked pizza and ask them to bring our pizza. They brought us a new pizza and the cheese was sliding right off (see second picture) and the wrong flavor of ice cream, which we didn't notice because we immediately put the bag in the freezer to save for after the pizza. The second picture is the pizza we received, still undercooked. I decided to give up on my dinner and go straight to dessert when I realized they gave us pistachio instead of the flavor I asked for. My boyfriend called them again to tell them we were given the wrong flavor, to which the person on the phone argued that he did in fact order pistachio. After some back and forth they said they would send someone with the right ice cream. Never showed up. Tonight we ordered from here out of our own volition- a large half extra cheese, half green pepper and onion pizza. We ordered online and I had left a note asking to trade the ice cream that we still haven't opened for the flavor that we ordered and PAID FOR. No sign of the ice cream. Disappointed but not surprised. The third image shows two slices of the extra cheese side, you may need a magnifying glass in order to see the picture. Horrible and despicable customer service While a patient in the hospital I placed an order online and paid for the food and included a tip. When it was time to deliver the food, the driver said that he doesn't travel to bring the food to me. I explained that I am a patient and can't get out of bed to go to him to get the food. Whenever I order online via door dash or Uber eats I put in special instructions such as extra sauce, or cooked well done ect. And they alwaysssss follow instructions. They send a great amount of garlic bread with their pastas and i love that. Their grilled chicken is so delicious I love getting Alfredo from there I think they recently changed the sauce and it's 10 times better than a few years ago ! Worse experience. Waited over an hour for an online delivery. We order cheese bread stick, curly fries and bbq chicken wings with onions rings.
