This is this dish I use to gauge whether or not I like a Chinese take out. It was sweet and had a mild kick.. (Luckily, I keep crushed red peppers at work.) Sauce was a little more thick than I like but, still good. Flavors were balanced and I was pleased. Nothing worse than having bland Chinese food. I also tried the wonton soup thinking it would be a clear liquid. While there is soy sauce in the soup, it was tasty. I liked the strips of pork that were in the soup. The fortune cookie brand won me over! There is only one other spot that serves this specific cookie and I LOVE THEM! Quick service & extensive menu in addition to the standard! Like picking up dinner at a scary pawn shop about to be robbed. Hot and sour soup was watery with little spice, even though we asked for extra spicy. Pad Thai is not of the Thai variety but an odd knock-off, again no spice even though asked for extra spicy. Fried rice was more crunchy than done and fluffy. Great place for the health department to eat. The first giveaway parking in front and seeing the most discussing dirty windows. On entering look at the walls and crud that is on them. Look in the display cabinet for your self... It's under the dirty counter. Look at the kitchen and ask any roach that you see if the food is fresh... Anyone of the huge roaches should be informative. While I was there a customer demanded their money back due to roaches crawling on the stove. read more

This is my go-to for cheap Chinese takeout (as opposed to going to Jade Villa or Judy's for better quality). No MSG is a HUGE plus, and since I visit them regularly the food is always ready in 10 min or less after a phone in order. My favorites are: Singapore Chow Mei Fun - curry "pancit" noodles with chicken, Chinese BBQ pork, shrimp, scallions, and a little bit of a kick; ask for extra spicy if you want to sweat a little Mongolian beef/chicken - another spicy dish with a somewhat light soy sauce based sauce and scallions Shrimp with lobster sauce - this may not be for most people, but if you like runny eggs you might enjoy this. Lobster sauce doesn't mean there's actually lobster in the dish, but just the style of the runny egg sauce over the shrimp and the rice. This dish is good for summer days since it is on the light side. The CVS across the street makes it easy to run in and grab something last minute while waiting for the food. read more

I've been looking for a decent Chinese food spot in this area and I think I found it. When I walked up to order the lady at the counter was friendly and smiled. I placed my order and it took about 15 minutes for them to make it. I had shrimp fried rice, shrimp egg roll, and general tso''s chicken. The shrimp fried rice was good; it had good flavor and there were shrimp all through the rice. I was happy about this b/c I have been to several places where the shrimp was only at the top. The general tso's chicken was also good. I had a good balance of spicy and sweet. The egg roll was good too, and it wasn't super greasy. One thing I didn't like was the steamed rice, it was to salty. Overall it was a good experience, the food was inexpensive, ready fairly quickly, tasty, and I will definitely return. read more

I got the lunch special which was a good quantity of food and paid .50 for the egg roll. The egg roll wasn't good but their fried rice was awesome!! The General Tso's chicken was also good and not too breaded. Although the chicken is fully coated in sauce there is no extra sauce and it is thicker than i'm use to but it tasted great - which is why i would of wanted more. I went there today was very disappointed word of advice if they have a big order don't order during that time because all they are focusing on is the big catering order so they forgot about my order I finally went up to the counter then when I walked up there the lady working the register realize what I was walking up to the counter for she went back Sandra the other young girl working the kitchen that she forgot my order they both started laughing about it and then the one working the register started hurrying up and getting my order together mind you that had been setting there when she starts handing me my food I started letting her know how disappointed I was that she forgot about my order all of a sudden she no longer new English I tried to play stupid like she didn't understand me when the other one that should have been getting my order together came up to the register to see what I was saying I said something to her all of a sudden once I started confronting her on what happened she no longer new English and ran onto the back I went ahead and took my food $26 later I get my food home mind you I only work less than 2 miles from them the food was cold and very disappointing to myself and my coworker that I have brought food back for they may think that what they did doesn't matter or if they lose me as a customer it doesn't matter but all I got to say is keep in mind once you do it to One customer you'll do it to another shame on the both of you for pretending as if you didn't know English when someone started telling you their concern on their order don't worry it's the holiday times I'll bring you both in English dictionary for Christmas read more

The Bourbon chicken at one point was the best in the area before they changed it several years ago. I like the ribs, any beef dish. This is a solid place to eat.
