Food here is pretty typical with any Chinese restaurant. I ordered the sweet and sour lunch meal. Sauce was pretty watery and there was too much breading on each piece of chicken. It was crispy however. Taste was alright. Tangy and sweet but it was pretty similar to anything you would get at a Chinese buffet, maybe a little worse. Rice was good. Nothing to complain about. No seats indoors so it is a carry out place. Parking can be a bit iffy since there aren't many spots. Nothing remarkable about this restaurant. Wish the cashier was a little more considerate of recommendations. I asked her what she recommended out of curiosity and she said " The menu is really large and there are a lot of things". Do not order door dash through them they will rush your order and give you poor quality food I had orange chicken and house fried rice with large shrimp , The orange chicken was soggy and the sauce was very soupy and the House fried rice with large shrimp was small and my shrimp egg roll was greasy with oil leaking at the bottom of egg roll wrapper , napkin inside was soaking with cooking oil ,very dissatisfied with the food , it's them trying to prepare the order in a quickly manner, the crazy thing about this situation I lost out on my money with buying from this business and door dash tried to give me a little credit towards buying something else from them I promise my self I will not order from them again and I'm through with DoorDash. read more

My favorite Chinese restaurant to order from - especially since it's in walking distance from me! Not in the best shape on the outside or even the inside, but the employees are really sweet and hardworking. I typically order chicken and broccoli with egg-drop soup, both always tasting very good. Most entrees come with a side of rice and complimentary duck/soy sauce. Tonight, I ordered around 830 and the delivery man was there in about 20-25 minutes. Reasonable prices for reasonable food. A true delight when craving some quick Chinese take-out. read more

I went on Door dash and order the House egg foo young and Bar-B-Q small Ribs. The ribs were fine but the 3 patty egg foo young was terrible. They weren't patties and two of the egg foo young was burned and one had a french fry in it.. I called the store and the man that answered the phone told me he didn't know what i was talking about. I told him again that i put the order in on door dash, and you cooked the food. He told me to contact Door Dash. And i asked "Why they didn't cook the food." How can you mess up Chinese take-out? We've ordered twice from there, and this is the last. We are less than a mile from them, and the food was lukewarm at best. Wontons in the soup were not cooked. You could tell by looking at the egg drop that it was no good. No chives=no taste. Everything is just flavorless. The crab in the Happy Family was close to going bad. My husband is thin and can eat food by the pile, but even he took a few bites and dumped the rest out (pepper steak with onion). It's cheap and convenient, but never again, sorry to say. How they had a 4 star rating on here, I have no idea. It's not even a busy time (4:30 PM on a Thursday). Bummer. read more

The place was fast and they were friendly. The crab Rangoon were warm and crispy and came with I think 9 (way more than I was expecting) and it came with warm sweet and sour sauce. I loved the egg roll. The cabbage was so yummy. The orange chicken itself was soft and good on flavor. I wish it was crispy. I would order again, very convenient. read more

Three years ago this place would have been a solid four stars. Literally, I would order take out at least 3x a week. Sometimes it was lunch. Often it was a late dinner. I've been dieting in preparation for an upcoming trip to Florida so I've been skipping the rice but tonight I was just in the mood to "cheat." I made my usual order, healthy dish with beef and white rice ordered extra spicy. These folks knew that's exactly how I made my order. 15 seconds on the phone...10 minute (notice no s) and a fabulous fast food meal was in my future. Sadly tonight my meal wasn't terrible but it just didn't have that umph that I was used to. Yes, it is take out Chinese but this place did wonders to me and that's why I ordered out 3x a week in the past. It wasn't as spicy as I always had it but to give the joint credit, when I ordered over the phone they knew exactly how I wanted my meal. I suppose after a couple of years of going to their competition because of proximity they forgot who I was. I'll be back but I need to get back as a regular customer but once they have it figured out again the food is damn good. I should add that the area is sort of sketch but I'm not scurred. read more

Their online ordering allowed us to order, proceeded to charge our card and then cancel the order.. when i called to discuss it and ask for refund the man working there yelled at me saying his computer doesn't work so he can't help me. Your online ordering shouldn't be available if your computers don't work and you shouldn't be charging people and not know how to get their money back. We even asked if we could shove them our receipt and do the same order and just not get charged And again i proceeded to get yelled at and treated so disrespectfully. Good Chinese food. Conveniently right down the street from our apartments. I went in knowing I had time to kill, having to grab some stuff from the Liquor store and ice. Well I grabbed the alcohol and ice went back and continued to wait. She told me 15 minutes when I ordered, but that quickly turned into 45 after I knew it. I am highly upset with my general tso chicken combo meal. They did not make the rice or chicken fresh , but instead they just put it in the tray and delivered it. ( it had to be sitting there for hours) The General Tso chicken looks like clumps of dark dried up meat with very little sauce causing it to be very dry. The rice looks and taste like over done- oily sticky rice. I called them up and they said, "this is how we always make it." No apology or anything. Then they started yelling in their native language, I thought that was blatantly disrespectful. Whatever you do, do not order here!!!! They do not value their customers and only want your money without producing good food... Very disappointed tonight. I usually order from Golden Wok about once a week. Tonight I ordered two quarts of egg drop soup and one quart of chicken and broccoli tonight. When I placed my order I asked if the egg drop soup was greasy, as I have not had that from Golden Wok before. I was told NO it's not greasy. I picked up my food and got home. Chicken and broccoli was great. The soup was SOOO GREASY. I was told it was cornstarch for thickener. I'm not stupid. Oil is oil. This isn't the reason I will never order from Golden Wok. The reasons I will never order from Golden Wok again is because I called to let them know the situation. I don't speak their language however tone of voice tells it all. I heard yelling and tones of anger from the owners voice. He was mad because I didn't like the soup. I will never order because of the way the situation was handled. When got back up there the owner refused to replace it with another type of soup or give me my money back. He said if I didn't like it, that was my problem. He wouldn't do anything at all so I left two quarts of egg drop soup sitting on the counter there. I will admit I got mad and spilled some soup on the counter and said back to him... that's your problem... I am woman enough to admit I was wrong for that. As I was helping clean it up, the owner threatened to call the police. The owner/manager has no customer service skills as far as taking criticism to his cooking. It's not about the $6.00 I spent. It's that he refused to help make the situation better. So beware, if you order something you don't like you are stuck with it. I'd like to finish by saying the other employees there were very polite. I will be looking for a new place to order Chinese food. read more

I ordered the dinner combo of general tso's chicken and it was the worst Chinese food I ever ate. First of all it did not taste like chicken it had a bland taste to it and when I looked inside it did not look like chicken either. I thought it was only that piece but no all of them it looked either quadruple processed but also might be some deep fried balled up breading. I thought there was hope in the eggroll but it was even worse. It seemed old like they double cooked it did not look or taste fresh at all. Awful Service!! My family and I have been going here for a few years now and have never had an issue. My parents ordered dinners one night last week and when they got home to eat, it was disgusting. The food tasted bad and it looked bad. They called up the restaurant and were advised to bring it back the next day. When they went back to the restaurant with the food the next day, the clerk said it wasn't their food and they didn't make food that looked like that. Well unfortunately someone did! He called the owner who then refused to refund their money back or replace the food. AWFUL!!! They have lost all of our business and I will be sure to pass along the horrible service we received. If you can't back up your food and then claim that you didn't make it (after taking money for said food), you've lost my business for sure. My mom even returned a later day and asked if they had surveillance cameras so we could prove they came in and picked up the food they denied making. She was advised they didn't have any. read more

The sesame chicken was burnt and dry. There was barely any sauce on the chicken. There also was like no cream cheese in the wontons. Not happy I got this type of food. read more
