Be careful sending your children there. My son and four of his friends were robbed in plain sight by a group of guys that weren't even wearing bathing suits. Pretty obvious they're not there to swim. But their security is just nonexistent They stole over $2500 worth of merchandise from them. When the kids went and asked security to look at the video they refused and said they could not do that. The biggest problem we had is the fact that management was terrible. My mom is in a wheelchair and the website says wheelchair accessible...could not be the furthest from the truth. Not only was it extremely difficult to get her around but when we asked for a refund for her ticket since she can't do anything at the park but just wanted to hangout with family we were told we would not be receiving one by the employee but gave us a couple game cards for the arcade and an apology by the employee. Never talked to management as they were too cowardly to come out and talk to us face to face but used a middle man. read more

We've had season passes in the past when my younger kiddos were little because Sunsplash has a well-developed area for kids 7 and under. They've got their own splash pad and slides, so that made it easier to entertain everyone all at once. That said, a friend of mine usually gets season passes to a different water park, so we did that for summer 2017. I was more than a little bummed when we got there and basically all we could do was the wave pool or basic kiddie pool. So not worth it. I happened to get an email pointing out we could register for the 2019 season at Sunsplash now and go for the rest of 2018 all in one pass... plus pay for it with monthly payments. Done. We went out last weekend and it's like night and day compared to the other park. My kids aren't big on slides, but we spent hours going between the wave pool, lazy river, lilly pads, and smaller slides in the kid area. The kids had a blast! Others here complained about the cleanliness... I thought it was gorgeous. There wasn't any brown film in the pools, no trash anywhere, etc. It felt way more modern and was tidier than the other park. I was actually admiring the landscaping and stuff as I floated down the lazy river. The staff was all helpful as well. The only thing I didn't like was that they ID season pass holders with a vein scanner now. That's a little creepy, IMO, but I guess I'm old school. Anyway, we're super excited to have our summer 2019 plans mapped out already- a big kudos to Sunsplash for making their passes affordable and for taking such good care of the park! read more

Best Waterpark In Arizona! This waterpark may not appear to have the largest footprint for size of the park but they have mastered the art of jamming as many attractions into a small place as would be humanly possible. It's cool how so many slides are in this place almost on top of each other. What an amazing job of using space really well! The one thing to remember when playing here for the day is that there is a little walkway to the other site of the park with more slides that some people seem to totally miss and it's my favorite side of the park! All in all this is by far and with no equivocation the greatest water park in Arizona! If you need a break from the wetness you can also play mini golf, get pizza or use the arcade. The kids love coming here obviously, but dear lord you better bring lots of cash. Like anything else fun anymore it costs. Locker rental $7.00, small drink $7.00, admission $32.99. But the season pass is $64.99 a person which would be a great deal. So I was the idiot who paid the regular admission price. Problem is getting kids here while working and we average coming 2x a summer. Once the kids are older I wouldn't mind dropping them off at lunch and picking them up after work and really take advantage of season pass. There is a wave pool, lazy river, small children area, slides, food $$$ and bathroom facilities. There would be plenty of seating but most people grab all the lounge chairs to place their towels on instead of sitting on, which means you will be sitting in sun if you are not out playing in park. First time we came I found an edge of a picnic table to sit on after playing with kids for a couple hours and was ready to relax. After sitting and minding my own business for over an hour a couple comes strolling up with their kids and the lady starts getting angry that I'm in their spot. Being they had kids I apologized and moved off the 10" section of bench I had been sitting on. The family stuck around for about 10 minutes before packing up and leaving, the woman still griping how dare anyone take their area. After that experience I made the rule if nobody sits in a chair for more than 10 minutes I kindly relocate their towels and take the seat. Today I played with boys for about 1.5 hours before some of their friends showed up and dad got dropped. I waited for 10 minutes and applied my method to some shaded seats holding towels. Immediately a couple comes over from a shaded canopy area they were sitting and tell me I'm in their kids place. I kindly gave the dude a mad dog face and asked where they were? He gasped and said playing. I told him I'd trade them places if they wanted but I wasn't moving. Maybe I'm just getting old but people with that sense of entitlement really drive me nuts. Like going to the movies and getting there early to get good seats and some asshole says a whole row is saved and the people they are saving seats for show up late. I see those seats I purposely sit in them. Either way, kids having a great time, and I'm having a great time causing butthurt. Won't be the last time I'm sure. read more

What a great water park. Many slides and pools. Great lockers. Spectacular cheeseburger and medium Coke was pretty pretty big. And I feel reasonably priced. Got there at 11:15 and all the lounge chairs had towels on them but no people. As an elderly senior I sure could have used one of dem nice lounge chairs to rest my weary bones after a few slides with my family. Some one was saving them for somebody. Millinials, gen xers, children, everyone had dibs on someplace to sit except this old retired guy. Maybe Sunsplash should start a new program to give seniors their due respect and let those with Medicare cards (not to be confused with Medicaid) have first chance at those comfy lounge chairs in the shade. I and my children love this park so much that we bought season passes for this year. Went today and had to sign forms, take our pic for our passes , and wear a paper band. NO BIG, right! Its same as Big Surf. NOPE! We were surprised after all this they had my 2 younger children 9 and 4 put their hands in a machine, then me not explaining much other then it was necessary for us to attend the park we paid a lot of $$$ for. Only to find out that Sunsplash took a picture of our veins and who knows what else they did. This was not disclosed to us upon purchase of our season passes. We were not given the option. If any of you read the bible to me this is the beginning of the end 666 sign of the devil. It's still unclear to me as to what Sunsplash is doing with everyone's (not just my families vein photos but everyone who was there) vein photos? Why everyone must have this in order to be allowed to swim or do the slides when we as a society pay for the opportunity to use this facility and allow our families to enjoy this facility? What gives? Why the secrecy? Why is this not in the contract? Where is our info being stored? Why is it being stored? Why do you need our vein photos so we van swim? Who are you selling our data to and why? There are plenty of legitimate questions that need answered. This vein photo is to be taken every time you come into the park by the way and I'm not sure I want to go back. Management of Sunsplash...What gives? Why was the public not notified of this or given a choice? Why after all the $ we spend at ur establishment you feel it's ok to surprise the public and require such means of identifying people? There is something going on and if I have to bring lawyers in on this I will. Petitions from the people who keep you in business and I will blare this. All over social media. We had a blast and will go back but my 4 start instead of 5 is because the lifeguards were not the best in that they seemed quite uninterested or disengaged. There were quite a few times when they were not watching especially around the lily pad/ rope area. The other negative was the pizza place inside the castle was ridiculously slow and there again I observed a lackluster attitude with the employees. All in all though we did have a great time. read more

Every year besides this year I would give Sunsplash a 4-5 star rating. Why a 1 star this year? Well this year they started making the Sunsplash guests enter and exit thru the golf land castle. Sunsplash has its own entrance and parking lot. But not you have to walk an extra 1/2 mile now to come and go. I buy a season pass for my family every year for the past 4 years. This is very annoying. Also while the Sunsplash food court has great food for a fair price. Love the burgers and fries. Also love the refill cups. The service side of it stinks. Takes for ever to get your food. Seems like they forget your order. If it takes more than 10 min, I go and remind them about my food. This has also happened with the pretzels. I hope they decide to fix the problems that they have created this year. read more

I recently moved to the valley and was excited to go to a water park here. I did enjoy the park quite a bit. The slides, lazy river, and wave pool were all fun. The reason that it has only gotten three starts is for a couple of reasons. 1. I realize if the slides need "slightly" deflated tubes that is fine. However, the two person tubes were EXTREMELY flat, to the point where when we went down the master blaster my bottom was so sore because the tube was flat enough that when we went up the hills the bottom of the slide hit it hard. We asked the lifeguard about it and they also expressed that many people felt the same way but management would not let them inflate the tubes a bit more. 2. I was extremely excited to go on the 4 person slide, however, by the time the THREE of us got the tube up the ramps to get there we had decided we would not be doing that again because it was WAY too heavy, not to mention it took three of us girls, if you are strong enough to get the tube up the ride by yourself you are too big for the tube hole. 3. The wave pool really needs to be drained and refilled, the water stunk and was extremely murky. 4. I feel like having to walk all the way through the arcade is ruining the carped in there when we track in chlorine filled water. I enjoyed the slides that I got to go down, however, we were sad that we realized that the single person slides closed at 7 and we had missed the chance to go down them after we got there at 6. I have read about renovations being done to the park and i sincerely hope that a couple of those have to due with tubes, getting them up the slides and inflating them more. Overall I LOVED riding down the lazy river and it was the best part. I like that you have lockers for rent, however, they are a bit overpriced and the locker that we were given was up higher than even the tallest girl in our group could reach easily (yes I am short, not my choice). read more

Do yourself a favor and find another water park to go to. I brought my daughter and her friends here for her bday yesterday and bought the package where all is included (water park, laser tag, miniature golf, bumper boats and go carts) They only give you a total of 6 hours but thought, they must in order to charge the amount they do they probably have it down pretty well and should be able to enjoy everything but that was not the case. It was almost $350 total for 5 people. We went to order food and it was not very busy but took about an hour and a half to order and get food, so basically a 2 hour ordeal to eat. Again, you only have a total of 6 hours. I laid out on the grass for an hour because they have almost no lawn chairs to lay on and we did get there at 12 instead of 11 so at this point after using restroom a few times we are left with less than 2 hours to try and do laser tag, bumper boats, go carts miniature golf and slides before the next group of people come in at 5 and we have to leave. Unbelievable! It's a total rip off to pay $70 a person after tax and not be able to do everything and then the lady behind the counter for food had an attitude because I asked why it was taking so long. It was not busy and they were all gossiping and moving extremely slow back there when people were trying to wait for their food. Very frustrating read more

This is a fun family place for the whole family. On the dry side, you can always go for the bumper boats, go-karts, video games, bumper cars, laser tag,or mini golf. Having said that, there are a few of these that seriously need to be updated. The first of these include the bumper boats which need to be renovated very badly. The squirt gun on the boats often time fails and each boat needs to be maintained better as well as many of them stall while being ridden. On the go-kart side, the karts themselves also need upgrades. The whole kart often shakes badly and can cause the rider to be a little sore after getting off from the vibrations. The riders can also be a little careless in their driving skills and this can take away from the experience of other riders. Ride operators could do a little better on keeping a closer eye and removing these people from the ride a little more swiftly. Now as for the golf course, I will admit this is probably one of the most fun courses out there and keeps a pretty reasonable price compared to Golf N Stuff across town. Some of the holes can be a bit challenging which makes it fun. Also, on a fun sidenote, during the summer, toads often can be found all around the course and being how I love amphibians I always take a moment to catch a few so I can say hello. Lol, ok so I'm a bit of a nut. Some of the course could use some light upgrades and at night it can be hard to see which can make it difficult for playing. Also, they could use a bit more maintenance on wear and tear on the course and sometimes it can get pretty bad. One cool feature they have at this place is that a lot of the 80s games we grew up on like donkey kong jr, punchout, and popeye they have in a little section on the bottom floor of the games you can play for free. How cool is that. It's definately nice I will say because the other games they offer arent worth the cost to do it and I'm a huge fan of the classics. And for free?? Oh hell ya!! Then there is the waterpark! The very place where Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure was filmed! Pricing for this can get a bit expensive and one inconsistent thing is that the park often rotates the prices between day and night waterpark visitors. If you are a day visitor, this means the park will only be valid from the hours of 10 A.M to 5 PM and after that time you will be asked to leave to let the night visitors in the park. In the past, it used to be one fee for an all day, pass including a day and night visit all inclusive. This does still happen but you'll have to ask before getting your ticket. As for the slides they have a broad variety of slides for all ages. The first slides on the castle slides will be the very slides in the movie I mentioned before and a bowl slide which are all very fun. As you move to the other side of the park the slides get a little bigger including two or more person slides like master blaster, the revolution, the heart rushing sidewinder, and others. Now, as for these slides, I do have a suggestion make sure you ride them early in the day. This is due to the fact that by midday the lines for these rides get very long. It becomes very cumbersome trudging the big inner tubes up all those stairs while you stand drearily in line waiting to get to the top. Trust me, on your second trip, you'll be worn out waiting. The slides on the far side again offer a little relief from the lines on the harbor slides and the master blaster slide and if you're daring enough to ride the double dare. Also on this side is the always enjoyable lazy river and the wave pool which is regulated by time intervals of who's in the pool at one time. They, of course, started this for safety reason to not be overcrowded. Well, now you know what to expect so have fun. It's definately worth a visit. read more

my boyfriend and I were considering getting a season pass to this place because we only live two miles away. Last year we went for the first time since we were kids. This place has been pretty much the exact same since I went here as a child 30 years ago. You can tell that by the smell in the castle. But the most annoying thing is that when you are trying to get on some of the rides, they have one long line to get a tube, then there is another long line to actually get on the water slide. after our visit we decided that we never wanted to go there again even though it was so close, and instead we bought season passes to wet and wild which is 50 miles away instead of 2 miles away, but it is worth it. read more

Came in hoping to find at least one completely functional and balanced pinball. Out of thr 7-8 they have there each one has a fatal flaw. Some are simple. Two of the machines just need to replace the flipper solenoids. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS PINBALL PLAYER. I went up and asked to speak to the manager, the kid says there wasn't a manager there.... So then I told the kid about the pinball machines and he proceeded to explain to me how they have been telling the managers about this for quite some time and that the reason they don't fix them is because of all the construction going on. Dumb kid tried to lecture me aboit business. CapEx and Operating expenses are way different things. Golfland needs to repair their machines. I felt ignored and not cared for when I tried to make mention of this issue. read more

I will preface this with the fact that we went on Saturday, May 27, 2023, knowing it would be busy on the holiday weekend. With that said, the ride experience was great! The lines weren't that long and the staff was friendly. The review is solely based off of the cabana/food order experience which was a complete disaster. First off, the ability to online order your food and have it delivered to your cabana was not available, which is significant inconvenience and no explanation as to why. However, normally there is an express line for cabana renters which is nice. Well, this experience was pure chaos. Turns out, this "express" line is also the same line that the lifeguards and staff order their lunch, and they take priority. So, in the middle of the lunch rush the wait is unconscionable. We waited so long we just decided to leave. I would highly recommend changing this system, as the extra expense for a cabana should provide a higher level attention. Whoever was in charge of the food operations this day needs to be promoted to guest! Lastly, the cabana itself was a disaster. Cabana 12 looked as if the furniture had not been cleaned since God was a child, the furniture was mismatched and arranged in such a manner there was literally no room to move around. Not to mention, the "walls" of the cabana were haphazardly on and did not allow you to enclose it as it should be. Also, the bottoms are not weighted, so the slightest breeze caused the "walls" to blow all around causing an uncomfortable environment. If you are thinking about renting a cabana, save your money and use it elsewhere, the return on the investment is straight garbage! read more
