Jason Cooley is a complete scam. Please read his other reviews here as well as his Facebook reviews…read morebefore choosing to do business. I paid him up front, in cash, for a simple shaft swap on my putter. After a week of lies (he told me it was in stock, told me it was ready, etc) he finally blocked my phone number and isn't returning calls or texts. I showed up and at least retrieved my putter, but the money is gone and the shaft never showed up. Be warned, please stay away! If I could do a zero stat I would. JASON - I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

DO NOT SEND ANYTHING OF VALUE THAT YOU WISH TO GET BACK TO TX CUSTOM GOLF/JASON COOLEY…read more He's a thief and scam artist. Sent putter in to get refurbished in early December. Spent the last 3+ months trying to get my putter back. Emailed, texted weekly asking for updates and getting either no response or when I did get a response, it will filled with nothing but excuses for reasons why my putter was not done and empty promises of when it would be. Finally, After numerous attempts to contact Jason by phone and having the posted number not even ring, I accepted the fact that I had been scammed! Disputed the $ I had paid for services not rendered and CC company didn't even take a week to determine that they agreed with the transaction being fraudulent. only then did I get communication from Jason telling me that my putter was complete but that I first needed to cancel the disputed charged before he would send it back. I responded via both email and text asking for picture proof that it was completed and was per the agreed upon specs and when he would be available to discuss. Have never heard back. Local law enforcement have also indicated that I am not the first person to file a similar complaint. Do your research first! Had I looked on Yelp!, Google and various other sites where he has a presence, I would've seen all the scam warnings.

For openers I got a great deal for my group by using Golfnow. And the course actually honored the…read moredeal without any hassle. Upon arriving at the property there were no clear directions on how to find the clubhouse. I ended up stopping at an apartment leasing office (yes, this course has apartments on various holes) for directions to the clubhouse. Once I arrived at the club house I came across a few other golfers who seemed friendly enough. The guy in the pro shop was also friendly and the check in process went smoothly. The Golfnow deal I had included the use driving range (which I was very appreciative of) which was stocked with balls. Considering it is August in Dallas, the course was in decent shape. The only exception to that was the bunkers. The ones I ended up in were in need of sand. Hitting out of them was just short of hitting off of concrete. The greens were in great shape and played very fast. My 'only' issue with this course is my group golfed 18 holes and the only time we saw a cart-girl was at the turn following the 9th hole. Around hole 5 we called the clubhouse and asked if there was a cart girl out. We were told "she's out and should be there shortly. Back to the cart girl.....upon seeing her at the turn we asked her if she was out making the rounds. We mentioned we had played the front 9 and never saw her or anyone else with a cart. Her response with a lot of unnecessary attitude was "I've been busy". No apology, nothing other than "I've been busy". Needless to say we did not make a purchase from her. Instead we went into the clubhouse and grabbed items from the bar where the staff was super friendly. We did not see the cart girl again until we completed the 18th hole. I find it unacceptable that I can golf 18 holes (on a course that claims to have cart girls) and only come across a cart girl at the club house. If you decide to golf here I highly recommend bringing a cooler filled with your drink of choice. Do NOT expect to buy anything on while on the course.

Course is in great shape…read more Nice range, chipping, and putting green. Clubhouse is a bit dated, good bar and average food. Recommend a refresh and fix the urinals in men's bathroom.

Played this course on 7/12/2025. Looks like it is now an Arcis property and they seem to be putting…read moresome investment into it with clubhouse upgrades/etc. Most of the course is in solid shape (fairways/tee boxes), and although the greens weren't bad, they weren't at their peak (sandy and maybe recovering from aerification or something). Pros: staff was nice and appreciated the snack bar near the turn/driving range. Also, course was in solid shape. The back nine was tough but I enjoyed it. The course also had plenty of water coolers every few holes and they were always flowing! I also liked having your cart assigned "tournament style" when I showed up with the name and tee time displayed on it. Cons: if I'm paying $99+, I would have appreciated some of the little things that were missing - no ball washers on course which I assume is cause the carts are equipped with ball/club cleaners. I love when carts have these but mine was bone dry. The cart itself was a little janky which I don't normally mind but with no screen/yardage and bone dry ball/club washer, it was a slight let down. One more nitpick, but range balls are everywhere around and behind hole 1, and in the trees and fairway of 18. I'd expect this as the range is right there, but they've either had a ton of people practice lately or they haven't done a thorough pick up in a while. I know this is nit picky but it feels somewhat messy. All in all I see this course has some investments going into it and believe they are on the upswing. Assuming they get all the little things right, their $99 rate is pretty fair.
