Personally, I did not have a great experience with this dentist. I initially went in for a routine cleaning, but was told I needed a couple thousand dollars worth of dental work--including two cavities and a crown. I'll admit I don't go to the dentist often, so this was a bit overwhelming. I had never had a crown before and asked what it involved, but the staff seemed irritated by my questions and didn't fully explain the process. The dentist began the procedure, numbing me and starting to drill, but then abruptly stopped mid-treatment and told me she couldn't continue without administering nitrous oxide. I was then walked to the front desk--while still drooling--to be charged an additional $500 on the spot. To make matters worse, the temporary cap she gave me broke after just two months. I ended up going to Luxe Dental (in the same building), where they made me a new crown that has held up well. To be fair, the office itself is nice and clean--but overall, I wouldn't recommend this dentist based on my experience. This is all after roughly paying $5000. read more

Dr. Goli and her staff are great! I had some questions I needed addressed and Ghazall over the phone was pleasant to deal with, and tried answering to the best of her knowledge. When I was actually in-office, Ann(e) was awesome to talk to during my dreaded x-rays. She put me at ease with any anxieties I had. The dentist herself was also wonderful; she was soft-spoken and clear with what I would need done, and recommended a reasonable treatment plan. I didn't feel as though I was being swindled which was a relief. I will be honest and say I didn't go through with my procedure here due a couple factors, one being distance and lack of parking (not really the fault of the office of course) but I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who is within the Brentwood and surrounding area who is looking for a decent dentist office. So my insurance changed, and ergo, my dentist changed...but let me tell you, I couldn't be more excited. I wanted to get some work done before the new year, so after searching for a dentist through my insurance, and researching on the web (I'm super OCD when it comes to doctors and dentists) I found Dr. Goli in Brentwood and of course her calendar was completely booked. I ended up calling back because I really like the fact that she's UCLA trained (my alma mater...Go Bruins!!) and has such great reviews (and she takes my insurance) that I called back and told her that I wanted to use my insurance before the end of the year, and I asked if it were possible to get squeezed in somewhere. After a couple min of being on hold, I got my appointment!! Now onto my actual visit...omg the office is BEAUTIFUL. It's in a building right off San Vicente, on the 9th floor, and when you're in the dentist's chair, you literally have a view of the hills. The staff is incredibly pleasant/nice and accommodating, and Dr. Goli herself is a doll (she's so pretty too!!) She's got such a gentle hand with dental work (very few dentists have that), and she's super informative. Before she does anything, she'll tell you what she's doing, why she's doing it and answer any questions you have. I live in the South Bay, so it's a bit of a trek, but I'm usually in LA, so the drive isn't bad for me at all. I found Dr. Goli on Yelp and her office was very easy to contact and set up an appointment. Ghazall at the front desk responds quickly to emails and you can set up your appointment through ZocDoc which is nice and convenient. I set up an appointment for a checkup and was able to get a morning slot pretty easily. Her office is beautiful! The office looks very modern and sleek. The front desk is white marble, she had a big le labo candle in the waiting area that smelled great and she had some nice plants as well in the waiting room. In the actual area with the dental chairs there is a great view of the Brentwood/Beverly Hills hills where the Getty is and all of her chairs have a flat screen TV to watch your favorite shows on Netflix. She has diffusers around as well which makes the place smell great. She has very high tech stuff to make cleanings faster and X-rays more exact. Shannon was a great hygienist and friendly. Dr. Goli examined my teeth and gave me some options as to how go about some things. I came back for a filling about 2 weeks after the cleaning and I was given a blanket, headphones, and the option to use nitrous oxide to calm my nerves. I didn't end needing the nitrous oxide but it was a nice option to have. The procedure was pretty much painless without it. I felt the filling was done carefully and precisely. I then checked out with Ghazzall which was quick and easy and went about my day. They also quote out all work and tell you what your insurance will cover and they will send you a copy of it and they make you sign off on what treatment plan you want to do so there is no confusion about costs or what is being done. Overall it was a great experience! Dr Goli is soft spoken and has a nice bedside manner! Her office makes going to the dentist so much more pleasant. Will be going back when my next checkup comes around. I'd say the only downside side to her office is the parking. There is a parking garage that's $3 for every 15 mins. If you will be there less than an hour you can park at one of the meters which would be less than the garage but all the meters around the office are only 1 hour. read more

Dr. Goli is a wonderful dentist. She has been my only dentist for almost a year now, and I each time I visit the office it has been a relaxing and pain-free experience. The office has huge windows overlooking Brentwood and the Getty Center, and is quite inviting for a dentist's office. The view always helps keep me relaxed before a procedure, and definitely helps me look forward to the visits. All of the equipment is new, and she has the cool dentist toys like tiny cameras and what not to make sure everything is good to go. Dr. Goli is extremely concerned with my comfort level during appointments, and seems very conscious of her chairside manor and post-procedure follow-ups. It always seems as though she gives the same care and compassion as she would a member of her own family. Overall I'm very satisfied with the care provided by Dr. Goli and her staff! A little history if you're interested -- I found Dr. Goli after cracking a molar tooth in half while eating lunch last summer and I was totally freaking out when it happened -- not only was half of my tooth missing -- but it was 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon. I didn't have a regular dentist in SoCal yet who I could call, but after calling a hotline to search for an open dentist, I was connected with Dr. Goli (who took the call on her cell phone) and calmed me down. Right from the start she was completely generous with her time and even offered to head into the office to put a quick temporary on the tooth. I have had a tooth ache and have been DREADING going in to see a dentist. The last one I saw a few years ago was really scummy and kept trying to sell me things that I feel like I didn't need. I found this office on yelp and was impressed by how consistently great her reviews were. I called first thing Monday morning and they were able to get me in right away for an emergency check. They were so nice and accommodating and even volunteered to feed my meter (who does that!!!). Dr. Goli checked my tooth and it turns out I have a deep cavity and need a crown. I will start by saying that I'm very afraid and anxious about going to the dentist. My entire experience at Dr. Goli's office has been so pleasant. Her office is calm and tranquil. She herself embodies this peace and tranquility. Even though we are similar in age, she exudes a calming maternal energy. She is confident and yet very nurturing. Nothing feels rushed. She takes time to explain everything she does which makes the dental experience so much more comfortable. I have been a chronic dentist hopper for the last 15 years for reasons like: crowns feel like bricks, doctor is too aggressive or pushy and not conservative, doctors using poor quality labs to increase margins and best of all poor bedside manner. Dr-Goli's crowns are seamless, she is super sweet and extremely conservative. The labs she uses make great quality product. I might have work that needs to be redone or new work but Dr G has a very calm demeanor about it. She doesn't shame you and makes you feel like you are at the spa. I know this might sound odd, but you don't feel like giant hand is gagging your mouth. She is gentle and a perfectionist. For the first time in 15 years I have stuck with a dentist. Been with Dr G for 3 years and couldn't be happier. She is super educated and well read and extremely humble. It's really nice when you find the right dentist. Ever since my experienced my in laws travel one out each time to see Dr G too. I asked her to see my kids for cavities and she referred me to a peds dentist- she sent me to a specialist. From the moment I walked into the office I felt a very good energy. her office was impeccably clean and the people at the front desk were so sweet. Dr. Goli carefully examined my teeth and immediately knew there was something wrong with that one tooth that was messed up by the previous dentist. So she took x-rays and was baffled at what she saw. She couldn't believe that a dentist could do such bad work. She literally saved my poor tooth from falling out. She was so professional and referred me to the best endodontist and periodontist. She meticulously explained the process for this one tooth. I had no idea I would have to see two different types of doctors. Every step of the way was enjoyable. All the Doctors she referred to me were amazing including and especially herself. Being in the medical industry, I have friends and have visited a lot of dental offices on the Westside. I have to say that Dr. Goli is my favorite. She is so sweet and warm. Her approach to dentistry is different that what I have experienced before. She has this crazy intraoral camera and snaps shots of the entire procedure and reviews it with you when she is done. I went into the office today as a referral from a co-worker who sees Dr. Goli. I loved the bleaching my friend had gotten and wanted to try Zoom for myself. I was so scared of the "zingers" I was warned that people would get in the past. Anna did my bleaching and was so thorough. Emergency Visit My gum started hurting a month ago. After I called Dr. Goli's office, they immediately scheduled me an emergency visit on the same day during the lunch time. I was greeted by a very friendly staff and felt comfortable through the entire process. After taking the x-ray, she found out the cause - the wisdom teeth. She prescribed antibiotics and recommended me to a great oral surgeon. 2. Professional and patient I visited her office again for a cleaning and filling the week after. Same as the first visit, the whole process is relaxing and comfortable. Dr. Golo listened to my concern and explain all the process to me in details. I was new to LA when I met Dr. Goli, having come from New York where I had been so loyal to the only dentist I ever trusted (my pediatric dentist) that I was the oldest person in her practice by about 20 years because I was too scared to go to someone new. Well all that changed when I met Dr. Goli (almost two years after my previous cleaning.) Dr. Goli is pretty much pure sunshine with a drill. Her whole philosophy is about making the patient comfortable so they can get great, consistent care and aren't scared of going back regularly. There's aromatherapy, there's music, the office staff is LOVELY, the view is amazing, and above all, Dr. Goli is great at what she does and cares about her patients. PS (a tip): The first time I went to her after not having a cleaning for a long time, Dr. Goli did a deep cleaning on my teeth and numbed my mouth for it (she's great with the needle-action). She has done such a great job with my teeth and my experiences with her have been so great that I have recommended her to both my husband, and several of our friends. Everyone now sees Dr. Goli and is very happy with her work. Her bedside manner is A+. She's very attentive, kind, and empathetic. I never feel as if she is rushing through our appointment or through her work. I have also been able to book an appointment with her with ease - no long waiting lists. Dental work can get expensive quickly. Another thing I love about Dr Goli is that she has always communicated the cost of the procedure (both immediate and what it might mean in the future) BEFORE we go through the procedure. I've never been surprised by the bill after my appointment - I really really appreciate this and wish I could find this trait in more medical offices. And on top of all of that she is also available on ZocDoc - which means I can manage my appointments with her through the web instead of having to call.
